The group of heroes, dwindled down to less than half of the mighty force that had first entered, was tired. Beaten. Bruised. But still fighting. They moved as a condensed unit. First they tried to strike down Vision, but the onslaught did nothing as he phased through each and every attack. Feeling defeated, the group next tried their luck with Ms. Marvel, a short-sighted and foolish move. She easily flung away each hero that came at her.
Now, with nothing left, the mob looked up and they saw their chance. An easy target flew by over head. Sam Wilson had done his best to stay away from the fighting, looking for any opportunity he could to end this. He had been flying lower as of late, hoping to catch any glimpse of a tear leading out of this reality but, in his absence, he hadn't realized how bad the situation had gotten and how the fear and control that Thanos exerted on the heroes had begun to take effect.
A blast flew through the air, destroying one of Falcon's wings. As he crashed towards the ground and the group of heroes waiting for him, he knew there was no hope left.

It was time to check back in on the "game" that Thanos was conducting on Earth-1610. He was.....displeased with what he found there. Of the remaining heroes, one was reigning supreme due to her cosmic level powers, but, unfortunately for her, she was not one of the heroes that had been corrupted by the cosmic cube.

Sorry for missing another End of Day, guys. I got really distracted by Brazil’s game at the World Cup and didn’t even realize we were so near the deadline. When I checked the day had already ended.
My reactions to the developments at the end;
Blade’s full claim - Based on his protection target history I don’t buy it at all, like Neeks said it back then, it’s awfully convenient that both Stuart and Ezekel died during the day phase so we can’t know for sure whether it’s real. The thing is that his claim of killing both Rynam and DCPat is uncontested, and the reveal that the winners of the Bowser’s Big Blast (Lux, Blade and Ezeke) all got a 1-shot kill attempt item finally clears out what happened with Melon’s BP; Ezekel shot her with his item and so she was vulnerable for that ITA shot. So for all that, I believe Blade and also Blarg more too.
Neck Jailer claim - Obviously I believe it. His crumbs with rac make sense and it’s also uncontested. I initially had the suspicion that a role this powerful probably wouldn’t be town aligned, but the limitation that he can’t strong kill his target unless he’s not town aligned makes sense (although that begs the question: Lone Stranger’s alignment is different from rac’s?). Timing of the claim also made sense. He had 4 votes (from rac, Lux, Blade and Polter) and Blade had just claimed.
I’m sideeyeing Polter again after his vote. I agree with most of his readlist, but maybe that’s because it’s a fairly safe one and lots of “leans”.

It’s completely understandable though after both claims and no other leads to go on, which is in the end pretty telling how much town depended on those active players.

I didn't think of that actually. I usually focus on the roleblock and kill side of a jailer.
To make a correction: I can strong kill my target regardless of their alignment, but if I hit town I lose it permanently. This is why I didn’t shoot faircure last night.
There’s a possibility that if scum has two kills one was aimed at me and the other at blade. If I had jailed him, I’d die due to roleblocking him. If I don’t jail him, he dies due to no protection.

this is where I was thinking a bit too. like if mafia killed her and knew she was gone at the eod regardless, would they have pushed for her lynch? I feel like they would've pushed elsewhere to get two townies killed at eod. but if it was a neutral shot that's out the window.
what do you guys think about geno pushing sawneeks to claim in retrospect? I was considering that maybe it could've been motivated by him taking a shot at her and then wanting to know what was keeping her alive.

I was thinking of that Geno scenario after the flip. The issue is that I don't know why someone would be willing to go so far as lying about having information to find out why a shot didn't work. It'd be better just to roll with it and maybe try again the next night.

rac voted for her making it briefs 5, Blade 3, Saw 3. Then, Neck, Poltergust and faircure moved onto briefs - possibly to ensure that Saw wouldn't be lynched, since briefs also voted for her near the end.

For more on why I did not kill faircure: I made it abundantly clear throughout that her fate was already decided, yet she gave reads and analysis throughout the night phase. With neeks gone and active conversation at a risk of cratering, this seemed too great a risk to both my power and town’s overall health.
Ultimately, I couldn’t pull the trigger because I thought I would be killing town for no gain at all.

I sent the kill command at the start of the night in jail thread. I later revoked the kill command. Faircure admitted something along the lines of “I wondered if you might be able to do that”. Honestly admitting that only further confirmed my gut feeling. A scum would probably not paint the additional target on themselves and just click their heels silently and move forward.

I initiated talking by asking if he wanted my input on anything that had happened because he was going to be seeing my flip soon anyways.
about my vote on briefs, I was townreading Sawneeks so I went for the inactive that I thought I wouldn't be able to make a read on. we got so strapped for time that voting outside of an existing wagon just seemed like throwing my vote away. but thinking that scum would want to steer the lynch away from Sawneeks is a good thought, assuming that scum did kill her.

Yeah, sorry about missing a lot of the last Day. Things were pretty busy at work Thursday and Friday, so I didn't have much of a chance to do much other than try to keep up with the thread. I should be good this day phase, though.
So, with Sawneeks dieing yesterday, that means there were 5 kills Night 3, (6 if we count the Lone Stranger)
Night 1 had four kills, so 3 was our deadliest night yet.
