So....how do fake claims work here? On other places I would play mafia we would request and the moderator would give us something (either a role, flavor, or both).

Since it’s not a cosplay game, we usually just have free reign to claim whatever we want.

It’s usually good form in cosplay games to give scum some costumes that weren’t used.

I didn’t have a costume when I was recruitable, but my other scum buddies did in Berserk.

We need to not give haiku to someone tomorrow and instead “give” it to one of us. Hell even “give” it to yourself.

We know the role so it should be easy to fake.

Okay, just making sure. Even in non-flavory games I've played in the past, there have been subtle features of roles other than just "Vanilla" you need to know to make sure you have all bases covered. Wouldn't want a role slip to be what puts me under.

Especially since we have a vanilla role on in the main thread it is a safe claim. Haiku can also get claimed.

But you have to add a caveat. That it doesn’t work on scum

If that was real I probably wouldn't have chosen Fireblend and Faddy. That's hard to defend.

No I think claiming haiku gets you killed. Now faking a haiku curse... that will get you town points.

I don't see the benefit in claiming the haiku thing. It's too much of a gamble. I know if I were town I'd be suspicious as hell about a town claimed role like that, and I'm sure Febe and Grizzly would be suspicious too based on what they've said.

That’s a pretty rough defense. Do you have any abilities? Might as well use them now.

If there is a doctor, they are saving fireblend. Kill splinter? Kill fireblend anyway?

Sorry I didn’t respond. Your cancel action was for the best and I am glad no additional actions were taken. Limited mobility is key for survival.

Of course either of us could fake the haiku if you want. But we have to decide now

Why is *splinter claiming he was blocked? We didn’t do that...

He looked at you or me and didn’t get a result. That’s gotta be it!

Sorry for the vote and bus. I won’t go hard into it. I figure as a ninja I can attack unopposed and I leave *splinter alive and just watch the chaos!

Not at all. Role cop, motion detector, firefighter, bodygaurd, all make sense.

My role is a direct counter to the motion detector, role cop is my direct counter. Arsonist has a direct counter in firefighter, haiku is fun. Motion detector is counter to everyone else moving at night.

That’s six PRs in a game with under 20 players. It would not surprise me to have one more.

I want your feedback now before day end, just in case.

My case for not kill splinter:

He is by far my biggest vote against me tomorrow. However, if his role is real I am immune to him. So by leaving him alive I throw shade on everything he says about his role.

Now of course he is a big poster and holds a lot of sway with the game lynching him is the logical scum choice.

My other alternative is Kalor or Faddy, but faddy wants to lynch splinter

I think you should go for Kalor. I think Splinters role is real and you are immune to him. But you know that better than me.

Thanks I need it! Splinter is staying alive, along with Faddy. I’m 80% going to lynch Kalor.

I’m keeping Flatearthpandas for an additional blocker on the terravote. He didn’t vote for you so I’m going to push for his lunch first.

Hopefully splinter detects on me tonight and everything works perfectly

I’m so lonely... I’m leaning Grizzly now. with Kalor saying “I’ll be killed tonight” (post 1419) and three of the others being prime for nonsense/false green checking me (Faddy, flatearthpandas and splinter). It leaves grizzly and Oliver James.

Oliver James has me on his list BUT he was also the one person who did not vote for Faddy or Terraforce. Gotta keep up the facade!

Oliver James, the two exceptions to use your ability and kill are strong kills and ninja kills.
