Event Thread Event 7 - Lone Survivor

A series of mini-games will be played to whittle this group of 9 down to 1. That 1 person will win a prize. So as to not give an unfair advantage, please post in this thread when you have access and I will begin when all 9 are here. As usual, no outside discussion about this event is permitted until it is concluded AND while you are still active in this event, I ask that you do not post anywhere else. Once you have been eliminated, I will let you know and you can go back to the game thread to discuss there but still no event talk until I make this place public.

Alright, we'll be playing some new games and some modified versions of old games. First up will be a riveting game of Soul Mates. I like even numbers so let's eliminate the ninth wheel among you.

For this game, you will need to pair off with a player, each successful pair will move to the next round. The way it works is you will post a player's name in highlight tags. Once you have done that, you can not post another name until the player you chose has chosen a name. If they highlight you back then great! You move to the next round, if not, you'll have to try with someone new. Discussion can happen during this game as well.

Reminds me of Saw with the one where if they all gave a small amount of blood they all survived. But they killed each other along the way so someone had to lose an arm in the bloodletting or something lol.
