Unless something changes I think Scum are gonna take this one. They're controlling the narrative of who to lynch at this point so unless Town/Cult suddenly change course I don't think any of the Scum Team are gonna be removed any time soon. There's some push for scum but not enough to make it significant. :<
It's fucking bizarre to me that LP didn't get lynched after how he moved on D6. Not just on D7, but that'd also be the easiest lynch to get out of the way on a double lynch day.
Goes to show the value of the "just disappear from the game" strategy.
I envy the people who are able to pull it off. If I disappeared for more than 12 hours from a game people would kill me faster than CeeCee killed Stan.
I don't think Natiko and Monkey can risk a move like that. I guess they could follow Blarg on CeeCee? But their best bet is probably to sit back and see how things go.

Both of these assume they let Febe win finally.

Fanto has an amazing instinct, but if you argue with him reasonably, he’ll keep searching for something to agree with you on. And Natiko and Monkey sure can talk. He knows that there’s something wrong there. I just hope he doesn’t trust the narrative that they need to go for cult first. The fact that they’re pushing that is so absurdly telling.

Yeah, Fanto seems to want to believe you for the most part which is cool if you’re town, but when it’s scum that are real good at spinning bullshit then it’s a big weakness. I hope he sees through this, but I’m thinking he’s going to go for Kyan. Which sucks because that would be a good move at anytime except for now.

Combo that with the scum control and LP can live forever. Monkey/Natiko being the talkers here just leaves them to decide the entire phase. I love Fanto but I think his loss after the cult got revealed really messed him up and now he's willing to follow people which is now biting him badly. CeeCee has all but given up, rac has his moments but I don't know if it's enough to sway Fanto, and Blarg...is Blarg.
With scum so blatantly forcing the 'kill cult' narrative and no one actually questioning it, scum is going to be handed the win. It's going to take not only Fanto waking up but CeeCee, Blarg, and Kyan to work together to even have a shot. Highly doubt that happens.
Really, if they lynch anyone not scum today and all jump on the votes for pineapple pizza then scum just flat out wins.
If they lynch Kyan and let Febe go, they win. No mislynch needed.

Yeah, Fanto needed to step up and be town leader after the cult popped up, but it just broke him. He’s completely blind to Monkey and Nat. Fanto is good and new though (I think we had our first games at the same time) so I’m sure he’ll learn from this.
rac is doing really good too, but he’s not really great at swaying people. I think Fanto is which is why I’ve been a bit more critical of him.

Roleblocker would turn into jailer for the night phase, and they would get a 1-shot role cop shot. At this late stage those are lot less powerful though.
But that’s precisely what they need to do. The cult is as big a problem for town as it is for scum. They need to let scum handle them overnight, haha.

that post from monkey was lazy: bringing up a theory that cult has a vig shot for no reason at all other than to add noise, ignoring reading a third of the living players because she thinks they aren't cult (when she was jumping on flux for saying things were facts when they weren't), and providing shallow reads on the other 2 thirds when she puts waay more effort usually, especially during endgame.

I don't think it's actually WIFOM in cases like this. It's more of a meta thing. Scum is usually more careful to not be flippant and reactionary, which makes posts like Monkey's "We can't possibly draw any conclusions from Faddy's posts" sound a lot more like lost town than slipping scum.
Like I said, we see it all the time in games. "Would they really be so obvious?"
It makes it rather easy for scum to do just that knowing that people would think "nah, too obvious"

That is very harsh on LP. He is doing more than enough in the game. If people don't want to push him that is on them. He is much more engaged than CeeCee for example. His posts are actually full of details and stances in the game. I would like to think my post about him being a third replacement making him obvious scum gave him some town credit.
This isn't the old 4 or 5 posts per phase LP, nor just shitposting to reach 10. This is posting with a plan and goal in mind. Monkey is controlling the day and that is exactly what we need. We don't need more piling on Kyan or antaganising other townies because it might shake them out of their malaise.

Look at what he is doing right now. Most people think he is scummy right. Monkey is pushing the thread massivel in the wrong direction but LP is the one bringing up the bad points in her argument. That immediately makes those points tainted in the minds of the people scum reading LP so are more likely just to follow monkey because it makes her town.
I think there will be genuine shock amongst the living players if the game just abruptly ends.
