I'm very excited about all the future hate I will get for this game. It's the Twilight Zone. :D

I really love the original show (and I'm SUPER STOKED about the new series coming). So many of the stories are familiar to us now - many have become tropes - but a bunch are still really thrilling and they offer a nice historical capsule, too. And it was a really interesting and progressive show (sometimes) for the times.

Thanks ^^ Think it's my sleep issues. Would love it to be stable but when it's not and I wake up after I crap sleep, I feel awful for 2 - 3 days even if I fix the sleep issue haha ;-;

I got a question about roles. A lot of time in madness roles don’t do much.
Was my role one of those or was I a counter?
Really like the flavor and twilight zone in general. I’m hoping for a wild ride

Thanks Stu, I think this is only my second game voted out Day 1, but that’s nice to know.
This day 1 was laid back and carefree instead of constant shit posts. Not sure which is more consistent though

There is a hypnotist who sent a message to someone saying "you were investigated last night." Hilariously, that person was actually investigated last night by someone else.

They were going to target the doctor and then they changed their mind and targeted the same person as the doctor, but no one really discussed why or what to do or options!

I don't trust Zeke one bit. Especially after what you said @heymonkey . That "well I claimed so we had something to discuss D1" is super weak reasoning; he's either a town hiding a better PR or mafia distracting everyone. Also, post #161,

I am mildly curious to see what a new player will do with that role. It's hard. I only remember being in a game with one once - Pineapple Pizza, and luckily, I as a cop green-checked the role-haver. The proper move is probably to claim, and not right at EoD, but we'll see what happens.
The messenger sent saenima a message last night and now saenima is questioning him, lol. He doesn't get the references the messenger used.

The urge to read the spoilers is strong.
But first I want to give some thoughts on the game to see if I'm on the right track (probably not).
I think the eod put a pretty bad light on Feps, Ynnek and LP. Those would currently be my top suspects.
However that one post where Zeke basically said "Discuss my scum reads, but definitely don't discuss Fantomas" was really, really strange. Would be a very ballsy move of scum to claim neighbors together, but I could see it happening. Also Zeke going for VA who seems to be an innocent child based on Stus bread crumb, is kind of suspect (but that is based on knowledge from outside the game). If those two are scum, I'm not sure who their partner would be, WSD maybe?
I think I would push Ynnek or LP towards the window now and if one of them turns out to be town, go for Zeke/Fantomas.
Kopite strikes me as neutral. He reminds me of my play when I was neutral and didn't pay that much attention to what was actually happening and just dropped in to state some reads on random people.

Agree about the first impressions thing, I'm still trying to find how to link Zeke to mafia but there's nothing concrete. I guess it's just me not liking him evading questions yesterday. What I'd love to ask him and Fanto is what do they think, from a game design perspective, is the permutation Dr. Monkey would have used; t/t, t/m, t/n, n/m, m/m or n/n (is that even possible? not sure if it's common to have neutrals). Of course m/m makes no sense since they have a chat already, but they could be lying and neighbors is just a safe role to claim. t/m or t/n sounds like the most fun, but then you don't know if the gamerunner decided to use t/t just to subvert expectations and play with the mentioned "paranoia".

Scum need to be "solving" the game as much as town, as in thinking about how to best use their powers, how to play people against each other, etc. They have more tools (and info!) than they realize here.

Just caught up, what a bad look for town. Even if it was just an honest mistake, Weemadarthur and Fireblend will probably be examined tomorrow after pushing so hard for that kill.

After reading a bit of the shared doc it seems like neutral factions aren't that common, but I spotted at least one game in which one had three members. Thanks for sharing (and to Pedro for updating it, it's an impressively comprehensive spreadsheet).

I am! Actually just got done with a great 12 - 13 hour sleep after staying up all night (I was so tired I didn't stay til the end of the day but I was hoping town would see sense before I went to bed haha ;-;)
