The way it works as a Neutral is that he isn't telling us the whole truth. Consider the timing of everything he's doing, the timing of why he's waiting until the last 5 minutes again to reveal more info, and the way he's coached it in "My investigative powers aren't perfect..." when someone asked if they should put their vote on muffin. Thanks! Honestly, whether or not I get the job, I might have to drop out of the game soon. I'm looking for jobs in Minneapolis/St. Paul because I'm planning to move there soon. I'm going to take a short break then probably try to reread the whole day. I probably won't do any huge walls of quotes in here though, but I'll share all of my thoughts. Trying to figure out how to go about my reads if there is more than one Scum team.

If it's just one team, I look for people who were against Swamped today and voted elsewhere towards the end, or subtle bus possibilities (check out some of LP's last posts for an example of what I'm talking about with that).

If it's two teams though, then fuck me, it's the Cult from MafiEra all over again lol.

It's tough to put together two different teams. You need to be able to judge general behavior more than votes and flips I think. We only got rid of the Cult because once we knew they existed, Scum came out of the woodwork to help us find them, since they knew which ones weren't Scum they just did some genuine Cult hunting.

I can't imagine how Aeleus' ability was enhanced though. I am almost positive that it isn't an instant win for their thunderdome, and having 2 shots of a thunderdome seems like a bit of a waste as well. Their character is a Clint Eastwood character, so honestly I'm expecting that it's a DayVig shot or a Veteran ability where anyone who visit them will die.

That's fair, and I'm mostly asking because I'm trying to understand AB's motivations behind passing that item on at that point in the game. If he knew what Aeleus was going to receive and that it could benefit town, then I could see that as being more helpful than the way he did it. Also, since you know who the item is for, it does provide a little more utility with his role. He can verify some names are real through the item's that he steals. I'm not sure if I buy everything that he's told us so far, but knowing that bit of information does make me feel better about him.

Just want to point out that just because an item has a character's name means it goes to that character, if that wasn't clear with the Man with No Name getting Dutch's Gun.

In HvV 1 Monkey's item was a League of Legends based weapon that belonged to a different character than her flavor that was also LoL. The Master got a sonic screwdriver when his was laser... you get the idea. XD

I suppose after thinking about it some more, I'm fine with divulging some more info about the item I got because what I said before will probably make more sense now.

The item I won is meant for me, that's how I know what character it was meant for. The name of the item itself does not have my character name in it, but when I won it, Geno told me that if my character had it, then [REDACTED INFORMATION ABOUT FANTO'S ROLE]

At first I had thought that everyone had just won an item meant for themselves because I did not think that was just a coincidence, but apparently it was since Muffin won an item that was meant for Aeleus to have.

I just wanted to clear that up because yeah, there was nothing in the name of the item itself that hinted at which character it would belong to, but Geno specifically said that if my character (he used they're name) had it, then something about my role.

I thought Aeleus claim was weird, I still don’t believe they “seriously considered thunderdoming Vere” when a big part of the argument against them was exactly the wishy washy read of Vere. I think he said that to save face during the EoD.

When we got the extension I had to quickly leave for a meeting and lost the final minutes, but I was clear when I left that Swamped was sealed.

AB is a chaotic player just like that, I think it’s understandable he passed his item just like that. Plus, his role might be close as close to a cop that we can get since both Vere and Swamped had literal villains as their characters.

Looking at Swamped powers, I’m thinking someone might’ve been poisoned already but will only die at.. N5. That one shot is the best use to use at N1 at least, and the fact that it takes 3 whole phases to kick in makes me think that however has it didn’t get a warning about it.
