Going to Korea really messed with my game. Definitely still got information out but I grossly misplaced my role.

Stu will get the last laugh, that's all that really matters. Sorian will feel no shame though, no matter how much we all dunk on him, and I plan to dunk on him quite hard.
Let us all remember his "victory laps" comment from Conspiracy, where he told us that Faddy flipping Scum would be his "claim to fame" in this community. Faddy was Town.
Or maybe the time in Love Boat 3 when he told us all that there was no way in hell that AB was Scum and it was impossible for us to be right on D1, so therefore we should all switch and vote for Kits with him. Kits was Town, AB was Scum.

I’ll be honest, I was on board with Stu today. Completely convinced me yesterday but, no offense Maolfunction, you were too much of a good target yesterday.
So I didn’t use my second motivator ability, didn’t know I had an item, used my ability on someone who I knew was town but was roleblocked (and if I had not been jet lagged and paying attention I would have realized)
Fantomas, I used it on you night 2. And you were roleblocked. Geno informed me that you were roleblocked and I wasted 1 of my shots.
I knew that scum could use the old roleblocks to sow discord, and I KNEW they were real. Just had to get it out, and it likely killed me (unless my agreeing with stu is what killed me)
I need spoilers for this game. It’s too hard for me to wrap my brain around.

town tunnels are a thing, and it’s hard to change your mind once you “know” they are town.

Ah ok, so that's what that was. I got a message from Geno that night, but I actually thought that was just him clarifying to me how my item affected my ability, but yeah after seeing how your Motivator role worked specifically that makes sense now lol.

First he told me that I would gain 1 more shot of my ability if I had the item, which was after I first "won" it. (Sorry about that again, you know how it is out there though lol <3)
But then the following night he sent me a message saying if I hadn't been roleblocked then I would have been able to use my ability twice at no extra cost.
So I thought that was just him clarifying what he meant by me getting an extra shot and also reminding me I was roleblocked, but it was actually you hitting me with that Motivate lol.
It just feels needlessly antagonistic to me, and feels like it's more just going to annoy the person he says it to and turn them against him even further. But, I'm also having an incredibly terrible week and have a lot less patience for things right now.
I agree on this. I know it is a way to play the game but everyone thinks differently and someone might see evidence that others may just not. Regardless of if it is right or wrong.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from, and I know how frustrating it could be. I just think that for Sorian, he likes to play off reactions and emotions so you either OMGUS him or as you said, turn against him at any chance possible.

Unlike Sorian, who has chucked his theory in the bin. If it was the other way around it'd be making way more headway with the group.

I feel bad for Stu, but clearly this playstyle isn't working. It's one thing to know you're right and feel vindicated later, but this is a team game after all and that kind of play isn't too helpful overall. All it's doing is alienating people.

Yeah, I feel bad for him too. I don't really know what it is that I do that gets people to listen to me so much, I rarely ever feel like I'm being ignored or dismissed. Yes, I make 10000 posts a day, but Stu can/does do that too.
I guess one bit of advice for him I would give is to not just openly beg people to vote with him, that's something I saw him doing a bit today. I feel like that can have a reverse effect in this game, where people's immediate reaction to hearing someone directly say "Vote for this person!" is "No thanks, I'll make up my own mind," which is perfectly reasonable in my opinion.
He has pointed out though that he is bad at getting his thoughts across. He's laid out what he thinks and with no one believing him, he just went to as you said "Begging people to vote with him".
Though now he's mostly given up with a side of mentioning Muffin every so often ^^; poor Stu

Yeah, I honestly think the posts where he fully laid out his case were good, but people were already dismissing it as a tunnel before he really got to that I guess.
Also he's right that flavor shouldn't really be counting for much here, those posts from Sorian where he's like "Explain to me how the flavor works then, how about, huh!?!!?" were silly lol. I would have to read back to be sure (which I'm not going to), but if I remember right, everyone else came up with the Robot theories on their own, Muffin would just pop in every now and then, nod along, and go "Yep, that's how it works!" before disappearing and letting them continue to Town read him solely for his claim lol.
I think Stu mentioned that earlier as well? But others were just dismissing it by then.
I want it to happen too lol, the logic behind him needing to know his item is because I figured the player might not want to become an SK, so randomly getting the item because they just want items would suck, that way they can avoid them if they so please. It was that way with Hayato in HVV1 too.
I admit, I'm loving this. Laughing so much, especially at the "Give this man his sword" stuff lol.

Pretty much caught up now (was checking out apartments today) though I'll admit I mostly just skimmed through the pages after Stu claimed.
I don't really have any hot take reads unfortunately, my mind is just not able to focus enough for that (I still think Fran is Scum though lol #Tunnel #idgaf), but I do look forward to seeing how the epic Stu vs. Muffin battle continues lol.

It's hard to blame him with the level of hostility that he's been getting for voicing his stuff. He wasn't being that unreasonable at the start of the day, and raised a lot of good points about Muffin's role and how that would function within the confines of a bastard game. But, he started to get upset when Sorian started to say he was bad at the game, Stan told him to "shut the fuck up" multiple times and stuff like this :

Nah, I know how Stu feels like. It sometimes feels like an exercise in frustration trying to have a conversation in thread when you're talking across each other, and seeing two extremely contrasting views go nowhere except dig deeper. Hmm I did agree with Stu that Muffin has been playing poorly but it's hard to argue against that when he gets his own confirmed town gif. And it surely didn't need to get that hostile either. I also emphasize about the inability to convince anyone of your reads.
