Current suspects are Wee/lokiduck/Soneji/Absolutbro/Sparks

All I'll say is that we're not as near LYLO as you might be thinking, this is a 20 player game on day 3 after all. Stakes are just rising quicker than usual.

If scum has a strong kill I think it should had shot sparks/soneji instead to ensure having an odd number of players left(ie removing MYLO and going straight to LYLO)

Now they have to play wifom with a doctor if they are out of strongkills

If we're in the world where LP and Kalor are Scum together, then I think the game makes sense. Didnt LP vote for Kalor one time? Who would be Scum with these 2, besides Nin who they should get rid of before LyLo just to be sure.

Ok I looked at the vote tool now. I think Wee is Scum with them. Probably one more though, and if it's not Nin... let me look at the votes again quick.

Ok so it's either Stu, AB, or Stan. AB is the spicy one, Stu is medium spice, Stan is mild.

Really at this point I'm just here for potential fires. Aeleus has been running everything and has been doing an amazing job.

That AB read list confirms my above Scum Team tbh. Bussing LP and Kalor, but keeps Nin below them, and then hard town reading Wee, but has her below me, Stu, and Loki even though his actual words seem to say that he has her as his Top Town.

Alternatively, Picketing is when the Scum Team rallies behind one of their own and openly protests against their lunch.

Malus is a bad vote imo. The reasoning is mostly based on Bae not being around very much, nothing Malus has done has seemed Scummy to me. Loki is just pot committed to that read at this point apparently, Sparks is just sheeping her, Wee is Scum, and I think Soneji is only voting there because his Lover is.

They should swap to Kalor.

For this one it's because of the holiday. Normally you wouldn't extend the phase because of quiet players...it gives Town an edge over Scum since they get more time to discuss.

An extra shot during the day for scum that they can post in scumchat isn't OP. Scum can sometimes get extra NK's, so what's a dayvig between friends? Depends on how the rest of the game is balanced, really, and we've only had one PR flip IIRC.

The big difference is that NKs can be messed with. They can be prevented (doctor), tracked, switched, blocked, etc. A day kill can only be prevented by BPs.

A secret day kill usually is really OP for scum. Obviously depends on the rest of the balance of the game but if there is a day vig who don't need to use their command in the main thread they are very likely town.

Yeah but I guess my objection and something that we can both agree on is that "very likely" isn't 100% certain, as well as the fact that Zeeks could be lying and the real shooter could be hiding. Given this game, it... Well.

My suspicion is mostly born from the fact that I can't think of any good reason a Townie would take you out. I can't think of a good reason a day vig would even USE their shot D1 if they're not obviously on the chopping block. It seems like a thing you'd keep close to your chest until you have a solid read. Not something you'd throw out like a day after the game starts. Now, if Scum were in the position of holding that power, I can absolutely see them taking you out this early.

Stu appears to be seeing what I'm seeing now more or less. He saw it from a different angle though, with Wee and Kalor being Scum together instead of Kalor and LP being Scum together.

I think any one of those three would be a good vote today.

Meanwhile, LP is just trying to get people to vote for Z-Beat instead of his partners, Wee and Kalor lol.

Seriously though, if people really pay attention to this day phase, there is like a whole faction of people in this game that are pushing for anyone but Wee/LP/Kalor/AB, and that faction consists of exactly Wee/LP/Kalor/AB. Also, the name of that faction is the Mafia.

you should just give it a break for a bit and then hop back in. Stepping away for a time helps get yourself back into it.

also it's not helping that scum is playing alright and town is playing extra scummy. everyone is blending in.

However this Day End is really really important for Town if they look into it. Kalor kinda had the right idea when he posted that 'a scum lunch today will be by sheer luck and not by another other means' since they really fell into Malus. There were a few people that were on Malus due to scum reads (wee stands out to me) but the others were either just against Kalor or shifted from the claim.

Town can nab more if they pay attention to who shifted, who stayed out of the KalorxMalus fight, and who showed up last minute. They can clean up a lot if they do that.

Fanto you shouldn't stress yourself over your reads. Noone is going to be right every game. If they were there would be no game.

This game is supossed to be fun. Just don't worry about your performance and try to enjoy it.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that you will sign up for Conspiracy.

Pre game Zeke said his plan was to shoot one of his allies when they were about to be lunched to try and cement a town claim. He shot you without any prior warning and later said he wanted to see if he could get away with it (he was also starting to get paranoid about getting cop checked)

you had 2 out of 4 down which is more than I usually have

I feel like I'm a better town player when I'm scum, since I actually put effort into my reads then.

Scrappy being a Godfather was considered bastard since it was lying about an alignment clear. But a Godfather being in a game doesn't confirm a Cop!! it just suggests it!!!!

Same to you, Fanto - I think a breather from mafia would be a good idea if it's getting you down. After you've stepped back for a while, I'm sure you'll feel better joining back in down the line. Mafia's fun, but life comes first - games can always wait.

Holiday weekend was brutal. Just now catching up with this game and my professional opinion is that it's complete nonsense and the points don't matter.

Town had no business catching scum there, Stu was making the most sense even though he was ultimately incorrect, but Malus should not have been the lunch in town's current position.

I'll be straight up mad if town wins this game through sheer luck.
