IMO my shitposting peaked in the first Love Boat [Mafia] and my chess-playing in Pokemon [Mafia]; everything else afterwards has been Blarg downhill on clout-autopilot, and the only thing that keeps me going now game-over-game honestly is the never-ending chase for those hits of amazement my diminishing husk can still feel when I'm still managing to defeat you all in your respective primes whilst being an exponentially rotting zombie of my former glorious self, because maybe if my eventual skeleton that will factually end up being so much of a better player as an inert collection of bones than any one of you at your top performance level enjoys enough of those easy moments before becoming the dust we all are once again that potential energy would bring me back to life at the summit upon the psychokinetic release of my eternal soul from corporeal form and if not at least I'd have passed on that hope to the next generation, you know?

To be fair there’s no “you can only post five times” modifier lol There’s a couple pretty unique ones but I suspect they won’t get picked before this is over at this rate.

I actually wanted to design an entire game around that modifier. Just to encourage a more "live" style of Mafia gameplay, in contrast to what we have now.

There are tons and tons of ways to design a game and balance it to account for almost any configuration of roles. I feel like this is aimed at me. I always try to pick apart games with limited information fully knowing I am most likely very wrong.

Talking my way through the process even with my limited experience with playing is the only way to solve in my head.

Yes I look like an idiot thats ok its what I have to do to work through the game and I usually come out with better understanding afterwards

so yes i will keep making unfounded assumptions about every game I play while I play them I wont be able to solve things if I don't.

Like I think this comment may be triggered by my Bad design comment. I think the design of this game was great.

My Bad design comment was Hypothetical I was trying to reverse engineer aspects of the game by thinking of them in a top down way as I always do every game.

Sorry I made you feel bad I think every game I have played in both of my seasons has had good to great design.

It wasn’t aimed specifically at you - there were a lot of people making comments in that vein, and it’s not like I was mad. It was just the cherry on top of an exhausting game to run at times lol I think Faddy put it best at one point - I very often design outside of the box. Trying to assume balance is just gonna get you burned at times, so it’s generally not the best approach.
