So this is what we have so far?

We have 2 players who haven't claimed yet (LP and Royal) and one who claims doesn't know her role (Sophia).

Nobody claimed wolf or minion (obviously) but is weird that noone claimed Mason. Could both the masons be in the middle?

If fact the only townie roles that haven't been claimed are masons. With no counterclaim it's likely that either one of LP or Royal is scum.

Yeah, the lack of masons is pretty strange. We have a few players who've barely posted but we have no counterclaims or apparent tomfoolery, which is kinda suspicious in and of itself.

Yeah, it is kinda weird. Everything has gone really smoothly so far. :x

I would've said I'd be more wary of Monkey since Seer is easy to fake-claim as Minion, she could have even gotten lucky and the claim went uncontested, but with Muffin backing her up that makes it harder. I'm more willing to believe her, meaning it's DCPat and this game is just an open and shut case.

The real question comes where DCPat's friend(s) are. Unless they are both in the middle and he just got unlucky?

At least one of you is lying and my claim is going to be a counterclaim. However, given the current state of the game with my additional information about who is lying, I think there is a very good chance that we're going to lynch a wolf regardless, even if you belive the liar. So, I'm really not sure if I should disclose anything rn...

I'm not counterclaiming Monkey and I'm not counterclaiming Ty4on, so if Ty4on would please explicitly confirm that Monkey was the Seer, I think it's a safe bet to lynch DCPAT.

alright let's take a trip down the 'Monkey is lying' road. mostly because i'm bored.

Monkey is Wolf/Minion. Claims against DCPat, Villager, in order to get him lynched. Monkey the Wolf and her companions win. We all curse her and her lying ability.

Problems:
-Fakeclaiming Seer has the potential to get counterclaimed by the REAL Seer, meaning potential for getting lynched are high for Monkey depending on how convincing she can be. Having seen her play Scum, I put this likelihood at high.
-Muffin, Robber, claims to have taken Monkey's card and it flipped Seer. In this scenario of a lying Monkey, this would mean that Muffin is lying in some way. He could be a Wolf with a Wolf Monkey, deciding to risk it and back up her claim. In this scenario a Minion Muffin backing up a Wolf Monkey makes more sense than the opposite, though more risky for Monkey since she came out of the gate first. Here, if the Minion got lynched the Wolf still wins so Muffin faking it is possible although if a Seer came out and counterclaimed that's two roles it is now fighting against.

tl;dr if Monkey is lying, Muffin is her partner in some way. It would be a high risk, high reward type of play though but not impossible. The fact that Seer/Robber were never counterclaimed though makes things harder to disbelieve.

Yeah, and high risk for what real gain? To hope I can outyell a counter? I mean, that's possible, I suppose; I am very loud. But I'm not exactly known for my gambits.

Yea, but Muffin is real robber and is now minion and follows Monkeys play, who is now tanner. Which I have no clue what she would do with. I wouldn't know.

Eh, I'd argue that it was a higher risk for Monkey than Muffin since he claimed a bit later but you are right. It's why I'm voting for DCPat.

But she is tanner. I wouldn't know who to help. What's her gain? Tell us she didn't lie and everybody will kill me, not her. That's also a loss for her. But she isn't really in a good situation anyways.

Natiko was the seer last game and did check middle cards. If you mean I should have known about two from that, welp, shit happens. I was in the middle of something when I read the role PM and I didn't look that closely.

I mean, by all means, y'all can vote for me if Fran is telling the truth. ;) But I will say this: if I wanted to make up some sort of weird claim, it's highly doubtful I'd have picked DCPat, who I don't know. I probably would have picked Sawneeks, Miss Forever Scum, or someone whose buttons I know how to push. I picked DCPat to check because I figured no one would mess with him; he was number 1 on the list and people usually go for middle stuff when faced with a list and he's a newer player.

I remember Brazil false claiming seer and picking somebody. There was discussion about that. I know Natiko ended up real seer who checked middle. Glad you remember aswell.

I get your reasoning why you picked me over the 8 others, but you could've come with a good reason for everybody tbh.

You got Muffin to back you up, but on the other hand if I was Muffin and I'd rob you of the minion card I would've done it the same like he did. So is it really a back up?

Why would you do that? If you robbed somebody of the minion card, would you tell them that you robbed them, really? The minion wants the wolves to win, and the robber town to win. In this case the robber becomes somebody who wants the wolves to win, but doesn't know who the wolves are. The previous minion on the other hand now knows who the wolves are but is now the robber, so can get that info out if he's sure that the robber isn't lying which results in an easy win for town.

Was just about to make a post about those who are being relatively quiet. Sophia hasn't said much either, Nomad is....I have no clue, and LP has done a disappearing act. We're at a bit of a standstill here.

The thing is, we're really just waiting for people. There isn't much to look into with LP/Deva until LP comes back and confirms/denies it. Same thing goes for Royal since he only really teased he could counterclaim and left with not much else to go off of. Sophia is a wildcard, Nomad is a wildcard, and DC is the only red check but there isn't much resistance there.

Because I wanted to see who flinched. I figured if Fran was something or if Monkey was lying they'd break their claim knowing they were no longer their original role. It worked for Fran since we now know he's the Tanner and Monkey has since been backed up by Muffin, but at the time I figured if she was lying she'd go back on it if she believed she had been switched.

Hmm... alright then. But let me correct you. My odds under my original role were pretty low given the red check on DC backed up by Muffin anyhow.

I lied. I wasn't the drunk originally. I was the tanner.

It's true that this is my first ONUW game, but I as actually having difficulty figuring out who to fake claim as, as I wanted to appear a little bit scummy. You can notice that in my post, as I didn't immediately claim when asked. Was hoping someone else was the drunk so I could throw down with them when they counterclaimed, but that's gone out the window if Sawneeks is telling the truth.

Fran was never the tanner, and I suspect he is most likely a wolf or the minion. Monkey should be the tanner now, and I should be the robber.

Also it doesn't make sense that I would be claiming Tanner being a Minion. I want people to vote me, not chase them away.

Glad you are having fun. Honestly this game has been really boring. Between the inactivity (LP has 3 posts so far and only 1 of them is game related) and the lack of a real push in any direction is making the game real slow.

I feel you. Really not much going on here. It would probably be more exciting if we didn't have a backed up Seer with a Red Check...

Wolf claim makes sense as last resort for Tanner. Maybe he gets a couple of folks so confused they vote him. Not much he can do other than a Hail Mary at this point.

Don't know what's Sophia's plan with that Tanner claim but she didn't play like she wanted to be lynched before Sawneeks changed her story.

I'll be waiting on Sawneeks' final move that is supposed to come soonish before I tell you my targets. I guess everybody knows my role by now anyway (it's troublemaker), but announcing the targets now would make everything much less fun. Only one thing: It won't mess with the fact that DCPAT is very likely the correct vote.

Yeah, my red check does kinda suck some of the fun out.

I mean, I got a verifiable claim and wasn't involved in any night actions. Pretty cut and dry situation for me.

I didn't think I had a realistic chance of winning once the Seer red check came out, also I was hoping to be counter-claimed.
