We’ll keep you company :DHi! Thanks for the access.
And here I was thinking this would be a bit more lonely with the seasonal replacement list.
I remember Turmoil being one of the more sane people in Mansion.Ok, I'll be cheering for turmoil7 and Vincent Alexander this time. Can't remember too much of the playstyle of the first - a quick search shows him getting out early in HoH, and my memory of Mansion is a bit too nebulous - so I'd like to take a closer look. He seems chatty so far. On the other hand, I've read Vincent a few times, so looking for any differences may be a good bit of practice.
Who are you all looking forward to read/cheer for?
By the way, Fanto being so upbeat is contagious.
Pretty sure she's just running with Fran's 'new player' joke.Does Kitsu think that Fran is a new player? Fran's been around as long as I have.
Fandorin said:But what do you think about Fanto's response to it? Cause VA being "weird" is just par for the course at point.
Kopite said:Where do we stand on the “Lets not vote traditionally strong town players out on D1 if the vote is flimsy(like most D1 votes)?
turmoil7 said:Brexit 2 doesn't count as lunch because I was vengeful

turmoil7 said:Fancorin did a good job there, thanks pal
turmoil7 said:Just the 15-25% scum design principle, nothing big brain here

That's a pretty good meta read on VA.Unsure if "weird" is the word. I'd describe Vincent Alexander as being pretty cautious and curious through games, prodding and asking stuff most of the thread, and slipping from time to time with phrasing or stuff that gets him side-eyed. He's been around long enough for everyone to understand that's just how he behaves I guess?
I'd say there's alot more serious stuff going on then usual but it's keeping a relaxed atmosphere which is niceAnyways a lot of what's been said feels like joking/fluff.

By the way I'd normally agree with this stance. Since D1's normally get people voted out for almost nothing, I'd only justify the push for a strong player with a good case.
Is it just me or is turmoil purposefully looking a bit suspicious? Please don't mess around, you're supposed to win this thing!
Pretty soon to be asking for spoilers, but a yes or no will suffice. Is his role/modifier related to being lunched?
Did you feel particularly evil when designing this?
Anyways a lot of what's been said feels like joking/fluff.This is when Natiko comes in and explains that amazing early breadcrumb nobody noticed.

Dr. Monkey said:Nope, it's dumb "look busy" effort and the fact that turmoil was also pushing it after Gorlak started it makes me wonder about the two of them together, d1 early vote aside. That's my hot take for now.
turmoil7 said:Overall your interactions felt faked
Dr. Monkey said:What feels fake, exactly?
Is making slant comments and not actually backing anything up just going to be your MO this whole game or...? Because you keep saying this while not actually saying anything at all.
Fantomas said:Turmoil feels like bait at this point, like all my usual D1 instincts are telling me he's Scum, so I'm just sitting here like "Why!?" especially because I have a habit of being dead wrong on D1 lately. He's throwing out random half-thought-out takes like "Fran and Monkey are probably Scum together, and they're planning something!" which is like, ok, tell me more please if you really believe this? What was it about my joke vote on Monkey and Kits' joke vote on Fran that suddenly made this a thing? I'm so confused by that take.
I'd say there's alot more serious stuff going on then usual but it's keeping a relaxed atmosphere which is nice
I know it's only half way through D1 so far but everything is fairly....normal. Some small tangents here and there but there's nothing that's hooked people yet to follow on. That will likely end bad for Town if this continues. :x
Dr. Monkey said:So general FYI for this game - I'm on the job market this year and for academics that's a whole full time job in and of itself so I AM PROBABLY NOT GOING TO BE MY USUAL POSTING MACHINE SELF. I'm putting this in all caps because it might turn out to be a lie because we all know I have the self control of 45 on Twitter when it comes to these things. But I'm gonna try to not be 100% playing 100% of the day.
I wonder how they're doing post count wiseFantomas said:Ah, thank you for the template, Monkey.

I'd say I'm surprised but I'm absolutely not=== PLAYERS & POST COUNTS ===
Fantomas: 41
Dr. Monkey: 34
Fandorin: 25
ect ect
I wish I could share hot takes
I mean it's role madness so that'd be pretty lame of me to only have a few town PRs :PMy other hot take was there is no way you have a 4 person scum team in this game. And perhaps Gorlak's % post was his annoyance with the lack of scum numbers.
If you decided to have a very normal mafia game with 4 scum and only a few town prs I would be SHOCKED. 15 players is 3 scum and 2(?) neutrals or mafia control an extra kill.

expect a lot of good memes and photoshops with some really good reads/insights sprinkled throughout. he also has a very disarming nature to him that gets people to trust him and relax around him once they get passed the jokes.By the way what would you say about Fat4All? Any meta-tips? I mean no disrespect but his funny poster fame seems to overshadow any discernible traits I could recall for him.
Well that was fun, if only I could had pulled that Fran lunch

i've seen him make some really good calls in terms of reads but most don't listen too much to him and he doesn't push stuff like others. this makes him pretty darn good at scum though.
I usually avoid the megaposters and "strong town players" early because what a chore, but this time I felt like trying something different so I picked fights with monkey and Fran at the startYou were fun to read! Would you say that's how you normally play, or did you go for something different this time?
Ketkat :(So who got killed?
Dr. Monkey said:I got lucky but I got a red check on Maolfunction last night.
Uh oh, Fran's going to tear him to shreds over this (I'm not bitter or anything)Maolfunction said:I haven't read them. I'm not ignoring it, I just don't know what those developments are. Is there a particular post number I should read from?
also for Kits and Ket when you both get here I'm glad you two were able to keep playing in the game. Shit can be rough and mean but know we all love you here and that there will always be a place for you. <3
I don't see how to trust monkey without a full claim here
No one is lunching maol without a full claim from her, unless she expects to caught someone else on a lie during this phase not giving the full claim is a waste of time
She should had just vote/push for maol this phase to see who support him and who doesn't if she wasn't sure of her info
I am on #ScumMonkey team
They have their fakeclaims, she is just getting ahead of the game and using it for an extra mislunch this phaseYou have been scum with Monkey. She is doesn't gambit like this. Her play is always to try and stay cool and let town twist itself around. And I don't see why she would gambit like this against Maol on day 2. That isn't going to help scum win the game in the long run
Are stranding spirits reliable scum detectors?DCBA said:What would be the first question you would ask Kojima regarding Death Stranding? Someone on twitter is asking question for an Interview
To be fair this was the description given at the sign up pageSo you basically say it isn't a lie if it's elaborate enough
Vote:Natiko
Death Stranding is finally here! Or at least a Mafia game loosely based on a handful of early trailers is. Come partake in this thrill ride of a game that is both bastard (without overt gamerunner lies) and role madness. 15 players enter, some number of them leave. Will you understand this Mafia game more than you’ll understand Death Stranding proper? Maybe! Maybe not! Come join Death Stranding Mafia and we can find out together.
No worries - I didn't think that. I'm as confused as you are as to how the mix-up occurred.I'm not pissed if I sound like that
Although up to now I indeed considered the game not bastard
Just wanted to share something fun but not game related. I was chatting a moment ago on my phone and went to refer to something as garbo (as in garbage). My phone autocorrected garbo to Fanto. I think this means Fanto must fight me to the death to defend his honor.
It's so bastard you aren't even aware of your own actions after death. SpookyIt is hilarious that they think they are talking to me
They aren't right....??? Spooky
hey vincent o/-grabs popcorn-
