JOAT.
1) Modified Vigi: each night, target a player. If they are Reiji Arisu, kill them and become untargetable for the rest of the game.
2) Godfather.
3) 2-shot power enabler. Each shot boosts the targeted player's ability without needing the boost item. Once gained, the boost is permanent.
Blood type A, species: Were-Fox.

I think there is only one way to use my boost: use it on us. Don't see the point with being fancy with it and begging for some town karma when every target I could pick might be from the 2nd scum team. Assuming that everyone is a JOAT, we won't be able to tell which two of us would be the best picks. In that case, I think we just look at how town read we are and pick the most trusted person. Towniest meanie gets the goods because the meanie that lives the longest gets the largest theoretical benefit from the power.

Yeah, it could be useful down the road, but not sure how to use it since we can’t faction kill and use a role at the same night. Bus driver is fun regardless lol
With this continent business without knowing exactly how it works are we thinking its better we sort of spread ourselves out across different continents?
If you decide to store the kill you can also use another ability with that, when you unleash the kills all of them can be done by a single player or spread out, you are allowed to use your ability with the stored kill.
I guess say we use the power night one instead of the faction kill it means we could then get two kills the next night?

That'd be the plan. We can't cover all of the continents so some people will be out of our reach. Getting OJ, Fando and you on populated continents is important because of your abilities. VA is free to go wherever he wants and my placement matters depending on what I want to do that night.
Yeah, continent shenanigans seem like the most obvious mechanic that could get in our way. We could also try to use it to incriminate other players, and using it at early game means more players and more entropy which is (usually) beneficial to scum.
@Geno, can you give us more on what is this fake Jester flip? Thread would get a flip saying that Oliver’s win con was to get lynched?

I haven't read the previous installations of Cake versus Pie so I have no idea if chests were a thing in those. RB seems like the reasonable worst case scenario for a trap, but since this is a bastard game, I can't fully count out the possibility that there is a 1% chance for instant death there as well.
The correct choice with the chests is to not open them. Let the sleeping dogs lie. We gain no town karma if we own ourselves. Even if much of the game can be considered reactionary, we shouldn't let go of the steering wheel completely.
The fun choice is to open the chests. Much of this game will be beyond our control, so does a little trap even matter in the big picture? When much of the game is completely unknown to us, aren't we better off trying for the high rolls?

I might be misremembering, but I think everyone opened their chests in the past two games. Thread read was that not opening was kinda scum read, since if you’re town if you shouldn’t be worried about dying if that means an item for town.
That said, I don’t think there was any insta death chest trap. Most of the bad ones were roleblocks or actually weird minigames. I think we should open ours as well, but we can wait a bit first just to be through.

I was thinking some of us should move in first, then the others can just pile on the other occupied continents so they can't make a read based on movement patterns. I'll nest on Africa and see what powers get used on me, that might help us isolate who does what and maybe make our choices on who to kill a bit better.

I assume this only applies to x-shot abilities? That is, I can't use my Vigi shot on EVERYONE.
Only x-shots, you can give the item if you want to as well but if you use your 2 shots for example at once the item won't work on another player

I think on the first day or the first few days we shouldn't target Fanto since most abilities will be focused on her. We should work our way around her then when everyone else is complacent, swoop in for the kill.

Anyway if we're going to use the save our kills thing then I was thinking if one of us is getting a lot of heat they can claim that their power is that every night they can stop a scum kill if:
1. The scum is in an adjacent continent
2. The target is in the same/adjacent continent(whichever seems more believable)
3. You can choose which continent to protect(call it Iron Curtain ability or you can claim as The Bodyguard from the hit film The Bodyguard starring Whitney Houston featuring the hit song "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston
