You have been called to Kyoto, Japan. Your destination: the offices of Nintendo. Its finally the chance you have been waiting for. After several security checks and the confiscations of some (But not all) of your weapons, you are able to go into the meeting room.

There, in the middle of the room, a easily recognizable figure was playing with his plastic toys.

The man gives you a smug look and proceeds to ignore you. You look around the room and you are impressed with the pedigree of attendees. Characters from all kinds of genres and niches are slowly filling the room, the noise increasing and the heat starting to fill the air.

Everyone has found a seat and the presentation seems to be about to start. In the back, a panel of the most well-known veterans are taking notes, carefully taking a look at the hopeful newcomers. Your heart skips a bit when you see THE Mario scratching his nose. One day, very soon, you'll be fighting by his side.

But for now, the screen for all to see started to display the most recent Nintendo Direct:

HERE IT IS, YOUR REVEAL, YOUR MOMENT, YOU CAN FELL IT.

The renowned Panel of Judges erupts in cheers and applause, some raising from their seats. Link swings a giant ball and chain around, while you can swear a single tear has reflected on Captain Falcon's visor. Sakurai meanwhile makes "Pew Pew" noises with his Dark Pitt amiibo, ignoring the whole affair.

The room, filled to the brim with actual, old and new gaming characters, are shocked to their very core. You stand up, arms shaking. Words fail to find a way to your mouth.

You raise your arm in protest, and the rest of the room is about to be ready to brawl at the drop of a hair. Just before you start yelling, Sakurai raises his voice.

"Ah, wait for the end of the conference, there is one more announcement to make"

You don't want to take his bullshit, but Smash is your dream. The ultimate destiny. You eat your anger, and take your seat. Only a few more minutes.

Meanwhile, the pre-recorded presentation starts describing the brand new Donkey riding mechanic...

-All Players have a Day ability. This ability CAN ONLY BE USED by POSTING IT IN THIS THREAD as a comment.
-You are allowed to talk in both the Day AND in the Night. Use this to manipulate players in your favor.

The presentation has been running for a while, your anger has mostly pacified down, the sock-puppet show made by the Nindies was particularly entertaining, even if a bit demeaning.

"Well, that is all we have today. Thank you for watching!" the presenter, who is a pre-recorded Sakurai, starts to walk off the screen.

"Ah! One more thing. We do get one more newcomer for the game, for a total of 108 characters. Who would it be? Well, that depends on them!"

"Live! From the Nintendome on Kyoto City, the ULTIMATE FIGHT FOR THE FINAL SMASH SPOT"

Suddenly, the walls surrounding you and your gaming peers fall and crumble. The excited cheers of thousands of voices destroying your eardrums. Huge hordes of Nintendo Fans and bitter haters look over you from the gigantic dome that was clearly meant to have you fight against the other characters for the Final Stop.

Sakurai puts on his White Gloves and starts floating in the air.
