Although I'm glad I found out in advance because I was about to write a big post about Z-Beat and some other players. I was planning on taking a town leader role because town needs someone to guide them and I was feeling pretty confident I could find scum as that day drew to a close. Felt pretty frustrated at the start of the day that people weren't really considering other options.
It's no fault of the players that did but the amount of subs definitely hasn't helped town. Malus probably would have been lynched way earlier if it weren't for the fact they were a sub.

I was really excited to see what you were going to do this Phase after your post that really seemed to kick you into gear there. You were pretty on point about Town and how they needed to move forward.

Now looking at it again, it isn't actually that bad. D3 is quite nice in fact.

Scrappy being a Godfather was considered bastard since it was lying about an alignment clear. But a Godfather being in a game doesn't confirm a Cop!! it just suggests it!!!!
I 100% back you. I think during review sometimes reviewers forget that our definition of bastard IS NOT the typical definition of bastard. Unless the gamerunner is overtly lying it's not bastard. A Godfather/Miller is not bastard in our community as it is not the gamerunner lying - it's due to the role itself. Red herrings are not a lie either - so including roles that can lead to false assumptions is game. Including a role that says you're a Godfather but when scanned you still show as scum after all IS bastard though as the gamerunner has explicitly lied in that instance (in the Godfather PM).

Vanilla games are better when there are roles that break a town player's assumption about the setup. If town can figure out setups from just a few flips, it's a huge advantage and lines up with my criticism of semi open setups like C9++.
Game setups should constantly strive to break players' preconceptions about setups and balance. Mafia games are not (or at least, should not be) puzzles for people to solve to invalidate any and all possible fake claims scum may have. If that were the case then you might as well just run a formula every game to determine the roles.

He targeted Chuggs on D3, seems like he realized he'd be targeted by the most trusted member of the scum team (he was killed by Zeke) and so went with a longshot.
Given such an early turbo I decided to start the next day when night actions were in. I'm doing an all nighter so should be around for it.

Oof I misunderstood too late and didn't realize my role could be used as a weak cop. Should've crumbed and gone for a scum read. Rac was a risky target but I had hoped that scum would instead take out one of the 4-5 lowest posts player
My hottest of hot takes is that Loki is Scum though, if she doesn't die in the next couple nights then I'll be sure of it. Something about her votes today just felt weird to me and she has had no pressure at all.

Malus is a bad vote imo. The reasoning is mostly based on Bae not being around very much, nothing Malus has done has seemed Scummy to me. Loki is just pot committed to that read at this point apparently, Sparks is just sheeping her, Wee is Scum, and I think Soneji is only voting there because his Lover is.
LOL I wish I had caused a tie because at the very least we would have kept Kits alive another day maybe. XD I was mostly just annoyed people were moving off of malus. :<
So this was also my first game without having any form of chat on OM and it was so surreal, but I honestly loved this game because I was just a vanilla townie 8D
Also like all my other games I was good at catching two scum but horrible at finding the rest. XD At least that;s consistent.

Yep, some great leading from Chuggs over the last couple of days. This has been one of those situations where town has needed someone to go full tilt into their plan of action to get things going against scum.
also it's annoying the extra day fucking my schedule, and then I die before I even get a chance to post because I'm out doing stuff that STILL would have been a different day. basically same. I finished up my adoption appointment thing, about 5pm (right at day start). Mobile era went immediately to a full page ad, so I drove home and figured I'd check in from my PC. I was dead by the time I got home and took care of the dogs. Guess I should have logged in immediately.
