Alternative theory:
nin, Neki, and melon as the mafia team. One of the many bastard elements in this game is that two mafia teammates had a neighbors chat. Like back in my first mafia game, Transistor, in which Launch and Stan were mafia teammate lovers (they didn't have a private chat though).

The team decided together for nin to fake claim cop and bus Nuevo, thereby elevating himself, Neki, and melon to close-to-confirmed-town status. He didn't know that Fate would claim a switch, but even without that, they just decided that losing Nuevo and his powers was worth establishing themselves in the towncore, playing the long game.

Objection: what if someone counterclaimed cop?
Response: Maybe they roll copped Vere and figured he was essentially the cop?

Objection: Wouldn't the town core of nin/Neki/melon be shaded if they survived for too long?
Response: They've already survived too long. One of them should have been the kill last night after the Nuevo flip. Wee was town read, but only town read, not mechanically cleared. Also, there's always the WIFOM of saying town was keeping them alive to shade them.

IDK. What do you think HP? The simplest theory is that it's three of Stan/Leo/Bojack/Kopite, but I feel like that's almost too easy.

I didn't like Melon saying she thinks you're town, but I'm second on her scum list. She thinks there are two town/mafia private chats, and she's convinced enough of this that she's willing to potentially kill two town/definitely kill one?

Also, kind of annoyed that people started talking about the odd/even theory as "Bojack's theory" completely ignoring my post about it, which was first. Even if you think it's a stupid theory, criticize me for it!

My prediction is that Bojack flips town, then mafia leaves us alive to suffer, thinking they can push us to be voted out the next day.
