I have a guess about her identity, based on her posting style. Not 100% sure but I have an incentive to find the person to whom I sent something last night.

This person is not my top town read by any means, but I trust the person somewhat. My exact reason for targeting them was different though.

Anyone stand out to you so far? I think I've been pretty clear about not liking the path IM2 is taking right now. Could just be frustrated townie, but I do want to continue the pressure to see where this reaction goes.

tbh I woke up in the middle of the night and updated the main thread and saw the fuckery that the boss had unleashed on us. just popped in to get the night bullshit out of the way. gotta work a bit, will not really able to read or think much until later lol

I am not sure about IM2, reading aggro play is not one of my strengths. On a surface level his explanation that it all was done to pressure an explanation out of Catalina feels a bit retroactive. It feels like there would've been better ways to go about it. His reactions about how he's just trying to solve are just... whatever. Meh, never am a fan of aggro nonsense, it just clouds all reasoning.

Illuminati member 4 has a 50% ita gun.

Catalina (Jman) claimed a neutral member of the Council, apparently a stacked role power-wise. Claims to have protected Bear last night (why a neutral has protective abilities?), during which he was marked for death. Michael claimed to have been marked as well, which might mean that Michael is Bear. Catalina claimed to have survivor wincon, last till the final eight. Wants to play with town.

People theorize that mark might spread through contact. I like my idea that the marker was upgraded and was able to do 2 marks last night. Nothing concretely points either way.

Meanwhile, in Thresh - Spider-Man (Sorian - Sparks...?) boat: Thresh suspects everything is not kk with Spider-Man when Spider tells of a new alignment check he did last night. Thresh has not divulged who was checked or what the result was, but he mentioned that neither was that surprising to him. To Thresh, Spider-Man does not seem exactly like Sparks, but Spider claims to be Sparks - an implication that someone is trying to feed a fake check? Then Spider claims that there are actually two people using the same account and LOL what the fuck is going on. This be ongoing now, might be heading to open wolfing soon WHO KNOWS AT THIS POINT.

I lean town on all of them at this point.

Natiko pushed against EC on D2. Feel-wise he has the air of slight townie ignorance while at the same time it seems he is not holding back things too much.
Faddy has felt like his town self and has in my opinion pushed discussion forward in ways beneficial to town, while at the same time putting himself on the line a bit, not caring about defense. The infiltration is NAI.
Vere I think has a reasonable chance of being town. What he did would be odd for scum and if it was a fake, I think it would have felt much different and played out differently.

Paranoid thoughts about all this do exist of course. I do not at this point put much weight to them and consider them only far-off alternatives.

Natiko can fake things and when you remember that we are in a multiball, what if he is not on EC's team but on the 2nd team? He is ignorant because he does not know the other team, and eager and genuine because he has to hunt for them. A natural cover. But he feels good to me.
Faddy fished for my role a few times, which could I guess be somehow him trying to figure out what the list of names that scum somehow received meant. Feels like a reach to me.

The second team idea is what's throwing me off as well. Under that logic, using an ITA or hard reading a mafia player doesn't necessarily mean said player isn't scum, they could be playing the game like the rest of us and got lucky by properly reading another scum player just on a different team.

That's why I think it's important to distinguish who can't be teamed versus who flat out likely isn't scum based on in game actions.
