The semi-complete team of Rangers sprung into action as Rita’s monster attacked an unsuspecting Angel Grove! At the helm is Pedro as the Red Ranger, followed by Hecht as the Blue Ranger, Grizzly as the Black Ranger, and RetroMG as the Yellow Ranger! However, due to lacking a Pink Ranger they do not have access to their strongest abilities and powers…
And no, I don’t mean something cheesy like ‘friendship’ or ‘teamwork’. The Megazord itself is outside of their grasp with a missing member of the Rangers! Not to mentioned the combined might of the Power Blaster!
Still, this has not deterred the MafiEra Rangers as they come face-to-face with Rita’s monster: a repulsive, vile creature made up of moving pictures and pages upon pages of silly jokes, meta call backs, and hilarious puns. The creatures vile tentacles lash about as it catches unsuspecting civilians all while chattering away the most horrid and inhuman of phrases.
“With a heavy thud, a metal curtain slammed behind them, barricading the makeshift entrance. The message on the walls shone even brighter.” The monster screamed as one of its’ tentacles wrapped around an innocent bystander. “ “
Don’t drink the punch” “ And with a maniacal laugh the civilian disappeared in a flash of light, their face reappearing on one of the many sheets of paper that made up the monsters form.
“Hold it right there!” Pedro the Red Ranger proclaimed as he ran into frame and pointed a menacing finger at the creature. “These people are innocent, leave them alone and pick on someone your own size!”
The creature spun around and grinned, it’s sharp paper teeth lined in red ink.“A-ha! I was expecting you, Rangers! I am the Ghost of Flavors Past, built from your nightmares and brought to life out of your history! You stand no chance against me!! Now to show you but a fraction of the power I wield!!”
The Ghost of Flavors Past lashed out with its tentacles, wrapping themselves around Grizzly and RetroMG with lightning speed and swatting away Hecht and Pedro like they were but leaves. Crackling electric energy shot down the monsters form as it waved the two helpless Rangers high above, laughing maniacally as it did.
“It was early morning when our protagonist awoke. It was another glorious day in his wonderful empire and lil jimmy fuccboi hypebeast was awaking and getting ready for school. However, each new day presented our hero with the same problem. Which sneakers should he wear today to flex on his friends?” The creature slammed Grizzly and RetroMG on the ground, their smoking forms trying and failing to stand up. They weakly looked at each other and, although the helmets obscured their faces, they knew the other was terrified. How were they going to defeat a monster that had access to the entire flavorful history of MafiEra?
Pedro and Hecht were undeterred however as both pulled out their Dino Blasters and fired upon the monster in a somehow choreographed show of teamwork. The Ghost of Flavors Past turned and laughed, barely hurt by the meager attack, “Is that all?! You Rangers are nothing! Now have some of this!”
“The thrum rose steadily, a low-pitched whine the students felt in their legs, their spines, in their fingertips. Clouds rolled in, swallowing the bright California sky. That sound, like bones cracking, like the world tearing in two, louder now, so loud it hurt. Students dropped their bags, pressing hands to ears. “ Screamed the monster as it lashed out and grabbed hold of Pedro and Hecht, shocking them with the same ability that took down RetroMG and Grizzly. He dropped their forms to the ground, a grin plastered on its’ text-covered face as the two Rangers struggled to rise.
“You know how it is. Just another Tuesday in Sunnydale.”
