I am! Actually just got done with a great 12 - 13 hour sleep after staying up all night (I was so tired I didn't stay til the end of the day but I was hoping town would see sense before I went to bed haha ;-;)

Before the day starts and chaos ensues again I wanted to elaborate on any player for practice purposes. Thinking about Ynnek7 since he almost died twice by now but took a completely different approach to the pressure than saenima. Please feel free to destroy my post, but after looking at his interactions... there's almost nothing there? Like an obvious low activity player, but that can be a coasting mafia or a common playstyle of this particular member. So NAI until I read his past games... I guess?

Fantomas was pushing hard for him before being called out by EzekelRAGE (maybe a mafia partner, not sure)

Ynnek honestly seems to be the common goal of almost everyone in the game today.

Maybe better to go Ynnek first? There's a lot of thirst for that vote, kind of hard to deny that.

Low activity posters are easy targets for a town lunch, but Ynnek7 doesn't seem concerned with that and prefers to avoid confrontation. His last few posts include one flavor comment, then a bit of substance with

So, I don't want to vote for saenima because I was feeling good about them, but by saying that I'm just getting my scum stink on him again :-(

I'm keeping my vote on Kopite for now since they're who I actually find scummy but won't be afraid to vote Sae if it means saving myself.

saenima didn't trust him (here, here or here), and WhySoDevious criticized his vote on Kopite. Regarding that;

It's not just that you're voting for me. It's that both days you voted early for me. Day one that put you in a good place once the train started, and you decided to stick with that today, most likely knowing that my playstyle would result in another train.

Once I flipped town, it would be easy to hide in that voting group.

Also, when reading through your past posts I really didn't see anything to make me think you were town.

So... you get to power roles. I'm still learning about them, but I guess you wouldn't defend yourself if you're a jester (could that be the "bit of bastard" mentioned?). Someone explained that those aren't common though.

There's probably something I'm missing, because it's a bummer if after this small, descriptive-only recap I'm unable to infer anything. Ynnek7 has a high chance of surviving today too since;
- Everyone will point at the players who pushed to kill the doctor and
- Ynnek7 himself defended saenima for a while.

There's the night kill too, curious to see who dies.

There's another thing I've been meaning to ask. One of the rules of the community reads

Players are allowed to lie, within reason, about any game-related material such as the content of a role PM.

What is considered "within reason"? Best guess is it's up to players' ethics - and IRL stuff is obviously off limits - but I'm having a hard time coming up with something that would be excesive to lie about. Maybe an example would be nice?

It shouldn't even just be frowned upon but should be an outright rule that if broken can mean modkilled. I know that sounds harsh but I take irl stuff at face value so I don't like being tricked for what some might call naivety.

Not gonna lie, wouldn't mind putting a Jester/tanner type role into a game of mines but I know that wouldn't get past the review team lol. (I also wouldn't mind being made one as I think I could have some fun with it haha)

I know! I'm just waiting for my schedule to be a bit more stable before committing to a game, but that could be as soon as next week or as late as the end of June.

For example, I got spec access to 999 but wasn't able to read the game until after it ended. I'd feel terrible if I had to sub out of my first game in a similar fashion.​

Hope they don't try tomorrow, since he's an odd-night commuter. This would have been the best night to try it!

I'm reading through the new posts (by the way welcome weemadarthur!) but I had to ask this.

From a design perspective neighbors make sense. They even match the flavour of the game.

But if you're town and you got that role... I don't get how you could benefit from using that chat. You aren't lovers and you can't trust the other poster until green checked, so your best bet is to distrust anything said there, because your partner can be manipulating you. At that point it's better to discuss everything in the general thread, since you at least know town has a numerical advantage and whatever the other person posts can be read by anyone to criticize if suspicious.

You could argue that you could get information you wouldn't otherwise, but that's assuming your partner trusts you enough to share something significant. And even if they say that, they could be, again, lying. It's a lose-lose situation for town-aligned players unless you blindly trust one another.

I can see how a high activity poster like Fantomas would love to use it in Night Phase though - if he is not mafia - just to comment stuff.

If you're not sure about your partner (see also: mine and Sorian's boat in MafiEra haha), you use it to specifically see how your partner reacts and what they do with what you say. Which is kinda what Zeke has been doing. Fanto's just chatting. I think he is more trusting here. Zeke is not trusting; Zeke is asking the question that everyone should be asking; is it neighbors instead of masons for flavor or for something else?

Anywho, I'm claiming.

Twilight vigilante. I can vig shot whoever is in second place for the vote only. Only if I'm on that train. Another limited town role. This is why I made a point of not voting ynnek or Zipped day one and why I was off train yesterday. Also why I was clamoring for a turbo early yesterday because if all votes are on me it would be easier for me to choose 2nd place independently.

This reads believable.

What I'd like us all to do is vote on our top two scum. Everyone will unvote in the game. We'll choose five people randomly who will then vote for one of the two people we select. Two other people and i will then vote for the other. Both will die. The whole process is transparent so we will be able to easily see if anyone does something untoward and it prevents me from just choosing whoever i want. I cannot execute myself but I will take the promised shot even if the other target is my own lynch.

I will take the second shot today regardless and it can't be stopped so let's work together on this. There's about 24 hours to get this sorted.

But I wouldn't bet on this happening, mafia will probably interfere unless they know that two town players are being targeted. He'll get himself killed at night for nothing, bright side is giving the cop another phase I guess.

Even town players could choose to go against this play, especially after fep was mean to Zeke and Fantomas. That's what basically decided the last lunch after all.
