Been crazy busy but I skimmed the early fluff and read the last few pages. Seemed like a really weak push for Goldar that somehow built to half the players. Guessing there’s a couple scum on there. Kind of hard to follow the game super well - so many similar names is throwing me off. Then again could also be because I skimmed lol

It's been confusing me a bit as well, though the Players seem to be taking it well. Goldar's lynch was odd but Town seemed fairly lost there and went after anything active.

Okay, normally I'd keep this a secret for a while BUT a Player gave me their master list and said I could share it here. It's hilarious and I love it so much
In the game there is a Player whose job it is to go against the grain and look into the hidden meta and find a certain player. Thanks to RNG, this player has to find Fireblend out of everyone in the game in order to win.
This Player has been setting up 'Fireblend Guidelines' to try and find him and, well, here it is in all its' glory. It's beautiful.

Yeah, I was surprised it didn’t seem to be slowing them down at all. Probably is easier when you’re an active member of the game. Worth considering for future costume games though.

It feels like any other game to me, certain players stand out whilst a lot blend in on day 1, because there's too many to keep track of that early.

Also I didn't say this at the time but I feel justified in my suspicion of Zack.

This actually never came up in review....but given the specific wording of the Role PM and Win con specifying that it had to be Fireblend and not a specific role, they would default to their second win condition which is a Neutral Survivor.
I'm mentioning this now because it was brought up to me privately, but this is incorrect.

Unless they change their command, yes. They will win at Day Start and exit the game.
For sure, this Scum Team is amazing. I noticed some pressure against one other Scum Player towards the end of this Day Phase but it's light.
However, Town has some good stuff up its' sleeve and some good Players. If they can get out of the wrong tunnels I think they could take this, but it will be immensely close.
I assume not but I'll ask anyway.
Do the remaining players get to find out who Febe is in whatever flavour text you put down or will it remain a secret?

So....bit of a confession. This weekend has been stupid busy and I actually didn't really read most of this Day Phase. sorry ;;;
BUT now with some free time I finally got the chance to sit down and give a proper read of it! Take this with the grain of salt given the bias of knowing all the answers when people playing are still a bit lost. Also not saying I'm an infallible Town player either....in fact I'm hoping to learn a lot here too on how to better my Town game. Still, some thoughts:
- There's some REALLY interesting plays going on given that people's identities are hidden, and I'm not just talking about obvious roleplaying like Rita or Zack (<3 them both). With the lack of familiarity and meta comes actual scum hunting and a lack of a 'cushion' for Scum to hide behind because of the usual defense of 'that's how they always play'. People are actually focusing on the topic of HOW people talk and WHAT they talk about. Big example would be Yellow's post against Jason and much of what Trini had against Jason as well. They were both good cases.
- Related to that, there's always been this discussion of how our Town only focuses on what's happening 'now' and getting caught up in the active posters. This is sort of happening here too and it's coming to Town's detriment. If Trini/Yellow had not followed up on Jason like that he may have slipped by fairly easily, people getting all caught up in Black Ranger again and lynching there instead. Similar to Red/rac as well since he would have suddenly gotten lynched had he not had his PR. True, he suddenly jumped in and weakly sheeped a vote but I have an honest question: has Scum ever been that blatant? I always see cases where people present a player as Scum for some obvious tell/action like not giving reasons for reads, jumping votes for no reason, and then not explaining themselves. Scum typically try to act Townie, not act loose like that. We need to shift Town's focus from 'the now' to 'the overall', because that's how you get Scum.
- Will be interesting to see how it plays out but focus should be on the Jason train and how it formed, who formed it, who jumped on when, and specifically who avoided it/didn't push it. With emphasis on the latter part, watching what people do and do not talk about is just as important as how they talk about it.
- As a community we need to somehow learn to differentiate between new/weak Town play and newbie Scum play. It's tough but there are clues out there on things a Townie does that a Scum player wouldn't do. Kinda think if we improve our Town game overall as a community then Scum might get caught easier since they'd have to keep up (and that's much harder to do).
Either way, watching this game has been very entertaining and I hope the Players are enjoying just as much. The point of this was to see how we could work without meta and I think it's giving good insights on how our Town works and a bit on how our Scum gets by so often. Still, it's early to say which way this game will go and who will come out on top but I hope (when all is said and done) not only did people have fun but maybe folks learned something too.

its never likely that scum wins or not, but I have confidence in this team to make it a good game. Town has one good lead on a scum, but the others I feel are fairly well hidden. Its going to be a great game.
Weekends are rough for me, and its never easy when you are stressed, make a mistake day 1, and get tunneled based on that mistake. I own my game, and I got caught.

This right here, I was kind of banking on this and that's part of why I had a few hours gap yesterday, and it almost worked. Definitely something that we need to work on as town, but definitely something I tried to abuse as scum. It is definitely part of our meta to "take a break" when you are under slight pressure before the end of the day. End of day changes everything typically though.
I think we know how this game will start then. Last time, it was "WHY FINSTER?", this time it will be about the neutral and febe.
There will be a few people on Black Rangers case today due to yesterday (I did laugh at his last post though) which might allow scum to abuse & lynch him.
Today/this upcoming day phase will be interesting.
