i noticed black has become considerably more talkative since moving up there in the votes. i can't tell if that's because he's a lynch contender or because it's day end tho.

I feel bad with the current spread of votes. Most townread people are on Rita. Rita's vote is not on Black which would make it at least closer to a tie. Black's vote is not on Rita to try to widen that gap. Zordon's vote makes some sense but it's still a bit iffy.

I originally started looking at Kimberly for her vote on Black Ranger. It felt very familiar and that's because she's barely moved. She voted Black yesterday and then again today after some mild shade on me after Zack's post. So I started digging in and there's a lot but I'll hit some highlights since I don't think this will come to anything today but she should be looked at tomorrow. First here's her reread of Jason when he was up for lynch

The weird thing as well is that he seemed to reach out to Rita (who is also on the verge of a Trini tunnel and he knows this) to ask why Trini. but then didn't even see Rita's response (which had links and did seem to justify Rita's approach to Trini) and complained about Rita's lack of said reply. Then when it is pointed out to him that Rita did reply, responds "oh yes, definitely scum".

Kind of felt like he was only calling out Rita in an attempt to get someone to back him up on this. Like he wasn't actually that fussed about the response, just needed someone to echo his thoughts. Not convinced on this need to look to the votes of others to justify his own.

Now to decide as to whether this is scum behaviour or just poor decision-making on Jason's part.

Did you do that reread on Blue Ranger? Do you have a general readlist, Kimberly? From your vote on Black Ranger today it seems like you don't have any special feelings about the game at all at this point, outside of defending Rita's claim today. For two days Black has only been an also-ran candidate so I'm wondering if you have any particular reads on other players.

There's also some both-sides play here but this post in particular seems to be letting Jason do some work to set up mislynches

And seeing as we have one hour on the clock, I'm gonna go ahead and drop this extra info I have.

I think @Billy is town, but I'm not 100% certain on this. On Night 1, OG Billy invited me into a gossip chat. Unfortunately, it barely got used in there. OG Billy only really dropped two posts before being replaced. However, they made it clear that the gossip chat was their own creation, and that they were town reading me. This lead to me having a town read on them, because I don't think the gossip chat would be a scum role ability that they could specifically target. Usually when scum end up in a gossip chat, it's because of a third party action (such as the items in The Price is Right Mafia, or the neutral in Overwatch Mafia), so I took the fact that OG Billy was so forthcoming as a sign of their townieness.

I was hoping to see more action from Neo Billy once he subbed in, but unfortunately he's been just as inactive as OG Billy and I'm uncertain why. It sounded like he was scum reading me when he joined (he called me "Moon scum", lol), but then there was that weird post of his. The only additional information I got out of him was confirmation of his ability being 1-Shot, meaning the chat will disappear if either of us dies.

I wanted to wait and confirm this with him, but he's seemingly disappeared and I can't get confirmation if he was okay with this. So I'm going with my own gut on this. Sorry Billy.

Anyhow, that's all the information I have. I haven't lied about anything so far, and I'll be here for day end. Sorry about the weird claim.

I wanted to confirm it with him. But I'm getting nothing in the gossip chat. It's kind of annoying, because I could have really used said chat for bouncing theories and ideas back and forth, but that hasn't happened.

I didn't want the info to die with me however. Neo!Billy at least has a chance to confirm this now if he wants to.

Ok I'll do this, I had typed this out like 30 mins ago and had been hesitant to switch, but Rita's claim on Billy is... doing something to me, and Black either being coy or not playing to win is infuriating to me.

I think ultimately I'm more comfortable with this, mostly because it's the flip that will give us the most info. If they flip scum, I'll feel a whole lot better about the people who voted them both yesterday and today, obviously, but that's a pretty decent chunk of people I don't have super strong opinions on that are my own. If they flip town, it will probably reinforce the negative Zordon reads from today as well as Kimberly's vote record (who I don't really have a read on), maybe Rita's not so much because they're currently voting for Zordon (Present note: they ended up swtching after I mentioned this) instead of trying to make it a 2-way thing with Black, which I thought would happen before now.

Any thoughts? I tried to think of the same 2 scenarios for Rita and I don't see that flip providing as much info for town.

I feel like Alpha is the kind of target we’d look at with more flip data. I just don’t feel confident enough at this point, especially with some seriously pressing candidates today

I'm feeling more believable of Rita at the moment. I see no reason why they would out the gossip chat when the other person in the chat could show up later and disprove it. Would make more sense to say they were in a chat with a dead player or something.

So when I die, go for Zordon > Alpha > Rita in that order.

I'm certain either Zordon or Alpha are Scum. I'd be shocked if they were both town.

I haven't seen much to make me think scum on Blue. See my previous comments today:

Zack had me mostly lost for most of the game but the posts over the last 12 hours (I think) have been incredibly thorough and I’m quite impressed. This has given me a Town lean but again, I’ve been skimming this day phase due to how busy I’ve been and sometimes Zack’s posts were pretty much all I could see.

Pretty certain Trini is town. The Jason tunnel and some of their posts on D2 pretty much puts them in the Town list for me. Sorry for my D1 vote! I was wrong.

As to my Jason comments, I answered this for Tommy earlier today. I did a read of Jason but got caught up in Black and focused my energies there. because to me, at the time, Black seemed scummier than Jason.

I can promise you now, I have been in no way attempting to set up mis-lynches. Who are you suggesting I have been trying to set up as a mis-lynch? And you think I was doing this by asking Trini a follow-up question to one of her comments? Seems like some ridiculous grasping at straws there.

People I feel good about:

rac (obvs), Trini, Rita (mostly), Blue, Green, Zack

People I have very little clue about:
Billy, Bulk, Skull, Yellow, Alpha, White

People I've been unsure of today:
Zordon (due to reasons again explained today - seemingly pushing Green but then not liking when people started voting there), Black (plenty of reasoning out there that I've already put forward)

I was town-reading Rita more than scum reading her, but now I don't even know how to process that gossip chat claim. It would have helped her case a lot more if Billy was around to confirm or was even in a position to corroborate Rita's earlier PR claim. As it is, the only thing I can be certain of is that this paints a target on Billy's back.

But Billy's not a target. Just like you weren't a target when you claimed. And what if Billy didn't want to be outed?

This bothers me a lot. I think it's NAI but I think claiming for someone else is pretty shitty to be honest.

I think @Billy is town, but I'm not 100% certain on this. On Night 1, OG Billy invited me into a gossip chat. Unfortunately, it barely got used in there. OG Billy only really dropped two posts before being replaced. However, they made it clear that the gossip chat was their own creation, and that they were town reading me. This lead to me having a town read on them, because I don't think the gossip chat would be a scum role ability that they could specifically target. Usually when scum end up in a gossip chat, it's because of a third party action (such as the items in The Price is Right Mafia, or the neutral in Overwatch Mafia), so I took the fact that OG Billy was so forthcoming as a sign of their townieness.

I was hoping to see more action from Neo Billy once he subbed in, but unfortunately he's been just as inactive as OG Billy and I'm uncertain why. It sounded like he was scum reading me when he joined (he called me "Moon scum", lol), but then there was that weird post of his. The only additional information I got out of him was confirmation of his ability being 1-Shot, meaning the chat will disappear if either of us dies.

I wanted to wait and confirm this with him, but he's seemingly disappeared and I can't get confirmation if he was okay with this. So I'm going with my own gut on this. Sorry Billy.

Anyhow, that's all the information I have. I haven't lied about anything so far, and I'll be here for day end. Sorry about the weird claim.

Reminder that I could totally see scum Alpha and Rita bussing Black based on the vote count at the time, and the current votes still match with that IMO

Wait, Black Ranger was one of the people that were in the running for the lynch yesterday after Rac revealed their role. Is it really likely that two scum would be in the running out of three people (Jason, me and Black) on day 2.
