We didn't try to kill Faddy because we were trying to find the switcher. As long as Faddy's top town killing him is risky.

When the entire thread is against someone, that is the perfect opportunity to throw them lifelines towards dooms of your own choosing

By advocating for melon to attack her own Night target GoG and justifying it through twisting her own claim against her with what happened last Night, and by also attempting to boost Faddy's credibility; melon undermines her own cred whilst appearing to be utterly reactive and retaliatory in her replies

and thus scummier

Hard to say because so many say back last night. Apollo would defend Faddy if he’s got a chance. Maybe Fantomas. Maybe KetKat. Protection is fine tho. Switch is not. Track is not.

Do you think Faddy himself could switch? I don’t think so. I think his post about protection was a plea. I think his ego is running so high he wouldn’t have posted it if he was the switcher.

Yes. On the one hand Faddy is good strategy for us to keep alive. On the other hand if he gets something he can use to out someone, it’s one of us for sure. Me, kits, or Blarg.

As for the feathless night, I assume something stopped the rb. If not, someone switched or protected or both.

If switcher has shots it’ll be 2 or 3. May just be infinite though. It isn’t Kopite or Gotham. After first switch, I don’t think Apollo. Who would have switched Faddy and kits and who’d have switched melon and someone last night?

She executed Zeke N1; Zeke was Neutral
melon's Role's caveat stared she'd lose her Jailing Power upon executing Town
But she executed a Neutral, so she kept her Power (but expended her 1-shot kill)
Which means that she likely DID Jail GoG N2
Which means briefs_cat's kill would've FAILED (which did indeed happen)
Yet if my Roleblock of melon had been successful; melon wouldn't have Jailed GoG, and briefs' kill would've succeeded

So what the fuck happened to my Roleblock of melon

This was N2 when kits won the Track so it wasn't the Shot du Jour that stopped me

You're right it had to be someone either Protecting melon N2 or Switching melon with someone else M2

most likely something that didn't target me directly

kits Tracked Kopite just fine N2 so Kopite wasn't swapped with melon/whomever, and so nor was he the Switcher, Doctor, Switchee or patient

Yep. Wasn’t Kopite or Gog. Don’t think Faddy or Apollo. So we gotta go through the rest. The switcher would know that melon faked the red check after Splinter flipped so probably not protecting her. Maybe that means we do put Apollo back in the mix. He started wanting to policy lynch and then chilled out. But I don’t think he would have tried to protect Faddy n1, and not by switching with kits.

Hmm yeah Blarg somebody definitely switched you. That's the only way we failed to kill Gog night 2. Apollo seems a good bet for the switcher . I don't think Faddy has a power role, that or he does and he's hoping that by being loud as possible we'll just assume he doesn't. Pretty sure he has the most posts in the game at this point

You would have received a notification. Also, I’ll just say to remember that there are multiple approaches to order of operations one can take when multiple roleblocks are in play.

I very much want to see Faddy gone. I don't think It'll draw any susoicion on me or any of you doing it because Faddy is screaming "lynch me" with his anti-town play. I wasn't targeted N2 either and Faddy would have targeted the shit out of me if he had a night role. Maybe he was the hypnotist? I don't see how that could have benefited him though. I don't understand Faddy's play at all from any perspective other than maybe him having a bad week. I know that if we let him live he'll hard push for my lynching without ever talking to me about it and that gives me reason to advocate his death on principle because I can't even talk hin into having good reasons to lynch me because he's decided on completely ignoring me and yet deciding that I need to be lynched at all costs.

If he were interestee in actually playing the game instead of running it into the ground I would probably advocate something else but I think his playstyle is making things unfun for scum and even more unfun for town. Unfortunately. Now's the time if any. He probably got the power. We don't want that to come into play.

Yeah, I’m for killing Faddy at this point. I’m just concerned about fallout. He’s weaponizable but so are a lot of other things and we always benefit from killing louder voices.

But I think if we just use the janitor modifier too it’ll be fine - if there’s a switch and I get one of us by mistake, no flip.
