So I think I've isolated what the problem is, but I don't actually know how to fix it.
When the forum was first set up, by default, any time you responded to a thread, it would make it a "watched" (or subscribed) thread and send email notices every time there was new unread responses. GAF does something similar, but I think without the emails. This email function is throwing errors.
Until I can figure out how to fix it, I've set the default to be that if you respond to a thread, the forum will watch the thread for you without sending the email. Unless you specifically go watch a thread and tell it to email you when there are new responses, that should fix the issue for now.
