Well, I was really sure Turmoil was lying from the start. Then he couldn't keep his information straight and wouldn't have known you were scum with what he claimed to have it. With Fantomas being a mason I'm leaning pretty heavy that Faddy is scum. He has to be.
Yeah, you being the first to question turmoil regarding the validity of his claim when you could have just waited to see how it was received if you were scum makes me lean towards trusting you, along with your opinions on Faddy right now, who definitely is leaning towards scum for me as well.
What do you think about Brazil at the end of Day 2? I had been leaning town for him for the most part, but he became surprisingly adamant about wanting to see me lynched when it came down to me vs. turmoil. Not sure what to think of that.

The standard play when an investigation PR throws a red flag is lynch the target, so you don't risk the investigation role. I don't necessarily trust Brazil but the move was the "right" one. I need to give that a reread though.
I'm thinking in a game this size you probably have five scum. With Turmoil having been a universal backup I have to think there are at least two other scum PRs. Possibly even three, but most likely two. If Faddy flips scum I think I would lean more town on Brazil. It just seems way to risky a move to put three scum on.

Fair enough. I can see it from his perspective given my reluctance yesterday, but boy did he go hard anyways.
I agree. Five scum, 2-3 PRs other than the Universal Backup. Also because I bet there's at least one neutral role involved in all this. Wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be CeeCee.

Yeah, I read back over Brazil and while there's nothing really concrete. Weirdly, post 2,828 is Sorian almost off-handedly saying we should kill you to check. If they had gone along and lynched you then when you flipped Not-Ordinary people would have bought that Turmoil was telling the truth. That seems pretty sketchy, but then again, Sorian may be just going with the "right" move also. Wouldn't be hard to use the playbook so to speak against Sorian or Brazil.

The scum team's entire plan seemed to hinge on the possibility that I was a PR, so they could push me as a priority lynch instead of turmoil, get the flip that I indeed had a PR, and thus would legitimize turmoil as an investigative role and get him off the hook for the subsequent day phases. Interesting plan. The two ways this would backfire for them is if I actually was vanilla, or if I had a way to guarantee I wasn't even targeted on N1. Too bad they fell on the latter.

The more this goes on the more I wonder if Fran is actually scum. Turmoil's role PM spells out that he is the Mafia Universal Backup, and he gets the first Mafia power. What if Fran is the Town Universal Backup not because he is aligned with Town, but because he gets the first Town power. It would have interesting symmetry.
And the blocker would be on Pirate Bae, not on Sorian. Which might make sense, as Pirate hinted at being an alignment cop when she defended KetKat. It also makes sense they role blocked her instead of killing her, as she was the only real outed PR other than you, and you can protect yourself. They have to take the chance of a doctor not being able to protect the same person two nights in a row, so role block one night and then kill the next. Yeah, I jumped to the wrong conclusion of what it meant that her investigation was apparently blocked. If that's the term then, yeah, I was thinking of a jailer. If scum has a PR that can block someone from taking action, which is likely, they'd have obviously targeted Pirate Bae. Might not have gone for the kill because she'd also be a prime target to be protected. I can buy that... for now. Not interesting to focus on it now, but for sure something to look at on subsequent phases.

Are you going to end up voting for Faddy after all? You haven't made the push for it you were thinking about earlier. Probably best to not do it when it comes down to the wire.

I'm not sure if I should put forward my Fran theory now. I feel like the longer he lives the more people might be willing to listen, since at this point he's all but "confirmed" as town. Pirate Bae will almost certainly be the next to die, then Fantomas. One is an outed cop and the other is all but confirmed as town. Scum could just park the role blocker (if it exists) on Pirate Bae and hope we all grow suspicious, since it's not like there's another outed PR for to use a role blocker on.

I'm not sure I like how Sawneeks is trying to imply I'm scum because of this mechanics business. I did bring up how BP + Commuter + Doctor could potentially be a lot, but it's looking like that's actually the case. I guarantee you scum are going to be bringing that up after Chuggs blew up to throw shade at me.
