Excitement time!
blarg, nin and sparks in the same game is going to be something.
And the return of Terraforce vs Geno.
And Turmoil. This is too much.
I feel like this is going to be a strange game. My prediction is that if Chuggernaut is town he is going to be super obvious right away. I don't thinkk he can contain himself in the midst of so much potential nonsense.

It's definitely an interesting roster, it's neat that I can't see any player who will immediately fill the 'town leader' position.

Town cannot lose a day to a bad gambit. Town have powers, use them on Jman. No one is a better cop check. And it re-focuses the day onto other people. Even if jman is scum he is not the only scum. Put him on the back burner and start looking into other people.

I probably wont be able to follow the game but i was glad to be a part of it, Aeleus!
I just hope Town considers that i might have been an ideal kill because im the only one that decided to call out + even tag very specific people and that all of those people are probably Town and scum is using that as an advantage to bait Town into thinking that scum is in that pile of people. Plus, Jman is the only one to have voted me so thats another mark against him and a possible mislynch.

Having just seen Launch's Scum game, I'm not sure if he's Scum again this time. He was kind of all about the "let Town eat themselves" life as Scum, just kind of pushing in directions that others were already agreeable on. I'm not sure if he's been doing that again this time or not though, I feel like I remember him giving more original thoughts here than he had in Mario Mafia from what I remember reading.

Not that it is a misplay or even bad. It is just so standard and safe. And unblarg like...
And especially after the tie I think he should have tried to find get something on that. (It might not have been possible)

Blarg is town, if you couldn't tell. Chuggs is town, if you couldn't tell. Stuart is also town and I think scum will be targeting him for a night kill asap

I was targeted directly so I didn't save anyone.
N1 - protected jman under protest. I had doubts that there would be my role & a doc but wanted to be safe. Was going to do Launch before all of the jman stuff happened.
N2 - protected Terra. Meant to crumb it before EOD but my daughter's wanted to play board games instead so they won.

Geno's frustration with Sparks feels kind of Townie to me tbh. Like I totally get where he's coming from with the line about people not caring about the game, that stuff can get me really frustrated as a Townie too, and I'm not sure if Scum would fake an outburst like that when they are already heavily suspected and it would be doing nothing but putting a bigger target on their own back.
To quote one of his PMs to me

If there is one thing more annoying than lazy town it is lazy town that won't listen to confirmed town.
Just lazily throwing votes on sparks is dumb. Let the confirmed players take control if you aren't going to contribute an actual argument. I can feel Chuggs pain oozing through my screen.
Worse is that the 4 confirmeds are voting on 3 different people without much collaboration. Chuggs seems to be trying to rally onto Geno but there isn't much movement there. there is plenty of time left in the day but people seem thirsty for turbo.

So if Geno is being truthful it kind of fits this. Losing my role hurts but I wouldn't call it a really bad night, losing me at the same time I was green checked makes it a little more painful. I do kind of wonder what else happened though as that still doesn't add up to a "really bad night", if Blarg is being truthful did he get a false positive then?

If both Blarg and Geno are telling the truth, I could see there being a Godfather or something on Scum for balance reasons.
Also, in regards to the confusion about a "will" in there right now, the way we normally do "wills" is different than how it works in other Mafia/Werewolf setups. In Town of Salem, for example, your will can include anything you want in it. People usually use it to mark down their targets and results for each night, but it can also include a read list, or anything else you would want to say to Town. The way we do it here is usually a non-game-related message or gif as a final goodbye, I don't think we allow any game-related info to be left in a will normally.

That's part of why I felt weird about allowing Natiko to share his results with Verelios in the Neighbor Chat in Super Mario Mafia before he officially "died" at day start, since that was kind of like him leaving a real will to Vere with his final target and results, which would normally (and technically should have) gone to the grave with him.

On fake claims: You get a fake name if flavor names are directly related to alignment. You get a fake role in role madness if it is unreasonable for your role to be town.
In a normal game with a generic vanilla role, it is possible for scum to only have 1 or 2 fake names in a pool to stop them all being able to claim PR. However in more than a few games scum have slipped by claiming their fake name and vanilla town. So all scum getting a fake claim can be a blessing and a curse.

Shoot, my fake name in Nier almost caught me because the name didn't really fit the role at all (I think it would have fit if I didn't find nin as the miller and red checked him). Jman seems really hung up on it though, with that and his outrage it feels like he's just trying to avoid discussing anything of substance.
I gave them all fake flavour claims but no roles and I can confirm one was planning on claiming a name with vanilla before the rest of the scum team reminded them.
