Funny because I was just about to stop posting myself to let the thoughts ferment. I don't mind which of us comes forward. I just wanted to add more fuel to the fire lol
haha. It's still day one so I doubt they would turbo in the first third of day one like that, so we're probably good. I might end up coming forward before then though.

I'm assuming that's mostly stemming from the Monkey side of things? I'm going to reread over her and chuggs again specifically, but I feel Monkey has been mostly okay. Her jman thing feels NAI since other people jumped in before jman could give a genuine unfiltered response. Her reads list gives me pause because I don't see the logic in needing to post such a thing as soon as 6 hours into the game. But I feel like that's something a scum!Monkey would notice, especially since she telegraphed putting out stronger reads. I would hope a scum team would at least express some amount of caution there.

Oh and I forgot to post this before, but I seem to be on the opposite of the spectrum from you on Sorian. Scum!Sorian would know that we're town, so "red checking" us like that would be very risky and not something I see him pursuing. Even further to that point when you consider at first he came at us from the loved angle. Realistically I feel like Sorian knew the situation with your fakeclaim would solve itself, but he decided to play into it.

Yeah I was talking about the monkey side of things, if you noticed he JUST started talking about a town core after we called her out on not mentioning it, supposedly she hasn't caught up but that might be a lie, I think Chuggs and Monkey could be scum together but if we flip 1 as scum I'll reread and reassess from there. For Sorian idk really, he's probably memeing town but I'm not sure what Muffin is doing tbh, we're long after the joke phase but he made a huge meme bat computer that is a random.org list maker.

You're not the only one to do this, but I feel like you were jumping the gun a bit there. I wish you would have waited to mention the "town core" bit until sometime today instead. We had a joking phase, your fakeclaim phase, then the actual game started, all of which was going on the span of like 6 hours. That's still incredibly early and hard to fault Monkey for the town core bit when we were hardly a fourth through the day.
I feel like this more active Muffin (jokes and all) is more confident and more likely to be town than scum. He can be elusive and intentional ignore things going on when he's non-town, so his behavior while erratic didn't particularly throw me off as scummy.

If they had a reason beyond the gambit to suspect you, sure. But several people just seem to be convinced we and Muffian are scum because we did what we did. Town is making it easy for scum to blend in by lazily agreeing without having to work for a stronger argument against us.

You were in Transistor but you were scum so you might not remember, but that and Risk cemented the kind of player Uzzy is for me. She's like LP but less helpful. She clearly has a solid read of games, but she chooses to post very intermittently and often sticks to weird narratives and argues in poor faith even as town. So what she's done so far is a hard NULL imo.

I went a bit off on chuggs, but I'm kinda getting sick of people downplaying your gambit. Literally multiple of the core topics of discussion stem from what you did. Now Faddlus and MrChuggs could both be town, but I'm really doubting it from the play I've seen from both.

I guess this gives me more time to sleep off my symptoms, but this is like a top five worst plays by town. They were handed a counterclaim and instead randomly decide to go for someone else entirely in the last ten minutes of the game. Fuck giving us time to claim I guess. JFC
The worst part about this is that I was townreading several of the people voting us. Maybe I'm just very wrong, but this reads as mafia taking advantage of very misguided town. Like straight up this is such a stupid lynch.
