jman’s almost makes sense.

He REALLY wanted to no vote. But my no kill vote he read as scummy after Jman voted Zeke, So Jman flipped over to see who would flip too. When just Zeke did (which makes complete sense same with my flip to Zeke) Jman flips back to OG no kill, which is where Jman wanted to be anyways.

But I can’t wrap my head around fran swapping the vote from me to Zeke at the end without seeing jman’s vote swap

It’s something I have been trying to do as town recently, make oblique or obtuse references to my exact role without claiming so I can do it later on by just referencing my post and saying I claimed day 1. I did something similar in knives out.

I’m trying to change the meta around myself, which currently is “zipped doesn’t post much, I don’t like his hot takes, let’s lynch say 1 or 2”

if I survive the first few days I usually go a long way. It’s just hard to get through those first few days

You usually post more, even if half the discussion was source material shit posting (and I will freely admit I’m guilty of promoting that by asking the questions) its just odd enough to be noticed.


Im against the no kill on day 1, then numbers ALWAYS favor voting out town,

with the format, I’m willing to bet just about anyone will claim master day 1 to try and avoid being voted out.

I ended up not doing it because by the time I logged in it was way too late for that, but it’s there.

You ever play volcano island? Is there any reason to think that this game would have two phases like that game (or the recent HvV3 which had a post death game fest for a resurrection)?

Not sure about pairs yet either. Most pairs haven't had much opportunity to talk yet, so they haven't been able to coordinate. I'll need to reread Day 1 and see what I can find.

Fran's attempt at voting me looks even weirder if you look at Fran's reads list from earlier in the day. Fran put Zeke firmly as town with myself as scummy, the only two things that makes sense:

1)fran wanted SOME information no matter who it came from. Zeke town read be damned at least now town would have information

or

2) Fran wanted SOMEONE dead today no matter what. Zeke town read was inconsequential and just to advance the day, I just want town dead.


Since I am town, and I am pretty sure you are town too, that means this was likely TvT (from pure probability).

Someone has GOT to be in a mixed pair this game, and if you are a bodyguard as you say you are ( and myself with my no abilities has no reason to doubt you) then you are town too.

Unfortunately I don't have strong scum reads yet. Weemad was the best I could come up with on short notice. I do find their end of day behavior a little weird though.

I do think Ezekel voted me out of 100% OMGUS, though. He was super passive all game, then got aggressive towards me as soon as I put on a little pressure.

Jman runs hot, I don’t think I have ever played with Jman when he was scum (unless he was scum in risk, I need to double check that).

I like jman’s reads usually, especially when it gets in a few days, but this feels like town Jman when Jman is trying to develop reads

Unless Jman is salva’s servant. It was an overreaction but he could have seen suspicion and a vote as “I need to do something to try and swerve the conversation. It worked.

If that was a play to redirect conversation, it was a bold one. Jman apparently didn't realize that not all masters have command seals. That may have outed him as a bigger target.

With the way the OP is phrased, I bet most masters have command seals, I think our case is likely rare (maybe one other team with a case like this). we need to leave that I don't have command seals on the DL.


What do you want to focus on today? Obviously we will be focusing on survival, but are there any threads that you think are good to pull? This LP one might be that thread. I will have to reread LP now. I hadn't even registered that he was town read.

I'm not sure that they would be that blatent. One of them could be scum trying to give easy reads by following after popular opinion, or people just have really, really low expectations for LP.

I've read through, and I was right, it's going to be SkyOdin for me. I agree with the arguments against his push for TWE, which felt like it was criticizing TWE's play without explaining why it was mafia-like play. I've been mafia a number of times, and one of my frequent strategies was to push for town players who made mistakes or did something a bit off the wall that I could say was "weird" or "not good for town" without really explaining why it was good for mafia. It's not much, but it's more suspicion than I have against the other leading vote candidates, or really any other player.

the second post makes sense, your busy get your vote out there. The gap between the two and the post immediately before the I never said that were a hundred posts.

If scum caught on that I am sky's partner then I can see them wanting to push me out as a Vote target during the day. NKing me makes no sense becuase I'm a master so no abilities (except command seals lol...)

Which makes me wonder, I bet at least one master has command seals to take over their servant's abilities in some manner.

I figured it was all part of a standard On-off switch, but I figured asking would be ok.

so sadly, the only thing new with my reread was Hawthorn's post being key for Salva's vote, but that is still a long reach.

Launch isn't looking good either from a total town POV, but scum doesn't typically go as "ALL IN" on scum reading town until later. Why make it be day 2 (first vote out)? You don't.

I wonder if My team number play has indicated to too many people that I am safe town (for now). not sure what to read with that.
