we didn't dream big enough buddy
Nope! I lied there as well. The first player from a team that died was always going to flip town. If there was more than on a team in a day/night cycle then those secondary deaths would flip with their real role.
The exception would have been with Geno's role. Had Geno found someone (which hello, you were all scum) and gotten that person voted out that day they would have flipped with their real role.
The one time I actually feel like I'm playing well as scum and coming across towny is the game where everyone else thinks they are scum and I am town anyway
So now I have no idea if I improved my scum game or not lol
i feel so dumb
in a game of scum the only way to win is to be the most scum
Also not gonna lie, if I was town I would not have pushed you with that straw poll nonsense. That felt like a weird town thing to do, not a scum thing. You just were in a game where everyone was trying to push kills they didn't believe in.
I think it would depend on the gamerunner, but I would lean toward no. It's no crazier than some of the shit Blarg has pulled over the years. As someone else said a page or two back, people in here were asking if they could vote in the poll and Hedin said no.also also if this isn't a bastard game would i have got modkilled for the straw poll?
you guys don't understand how badly i felt rolling scum
and i still feel bad about that game fran ran that i subbed out of because being scum was just way too much for me
i was so committed to trying my best as scum :(
what a cool game hedin
i think this game kinda shines a light on what this community lacks in a lot of timesI think you played pretty well myself. Tried to make something happen that didn't quite work but still was a solid attempt.

everyone was scum so the people making these big posts got to just skate by while all the quieter posters just kinda died and then we just are gonna keep letting the people who make big posts survive
man I feel you, finding out I've rolled scum is always a heart-sink momentnow that i can get this off my chest
when i got the pm my heart sank, playing as scum just gives me a whole bunch of stress
if i wasn't so hyper focused on not giving up too much info i probably play a lot differently
but uh yeah, weird game
this is probably why my love for you will never be fully realized, Thorny. we're just too different. but from across the chasm that separates us, the heroes, from you and your evil brethren, i look upon you with great love and admiration. Is it weird how happy I was to roll scum? It made my day!

If I'd not been on a team with you, I probably would have assumed you were town, actually! But if pressed to compare I would say that though I know you were NOT chill and relaxed, the way you seemed chill and relaxed definitely stands out for you. It was more "wheeeee! something's happening!" than "you are all dummies but don't listen to me because i'm also a dummy who has this one weird idea" but I don't know if I'd have seen that as a player.whats my tell then monkey?
Nobody wanted to be the first to put something out there for fear it was the wrong reaction. That's a very scum mindset and when it's EVERYONE... lol.It has the feelling of a forest of scared woodland creatures hiding in their burrows
it felt like i was playing a caricature of myselfIf I'd not been on a team with you, I probably would have assumed you were town, actually! But if pressed to compare I would say that though I know you were NOT chill and relaxed, the way you seemed chill and relaxed definitely stands out for you.
Hey! Me, Sega Genesis, Librarian, and Checkmate had a great time with it thank you. Also for the one team thinking that people could read their chats....there is no such role in the game. I have no idea why you all thought that but it was pretty funny.
I felt bad for Geno because without knowing the setup, he must've figured that winning would be nearly impossible. And in a normal game, his gambit might have even worked. But when everyone is scum looking for an easy target on D1, they're going to latch onto him. And ironically, telling the truth was even worse for him, because scum would not hesitate to kill a cop so they were fine with voting him out.
like its hard to think of a second scum team when you are just being attackedLmao
"How the fuck is town sleep walking into killing us all with no flips"
