huh, I misread what quote you quoted. But the more claims that are out and are credible, the easier it will be to spot anyone who is trying to hide something. So the more claims, the less risk to town assuming most of the players here are town.

And normally you're correct, but the game state as is is far from normal comparatively to most games. No one died at the end of D1, there probably isn't a traditional mafia team in this game. That means we're most likely looking for one or two infectors.

I'm not sure if this claim makes me feel more or less likely to go along with your plan of testing the dogs. If we do, I guess I would vote for Maol to go first.
How is this role not just town, with the extra requirement of needing to survive to the end? Can only win with town, which means you need all threats to town to be eliminated, which is basically the town win con.
That shorter day seemed to tie into the day-end flavor so well. I really thought it was a game-runner action. What was your reasoning in choosing today?

So far all the dogs have been vanilla and all the humans have had roles. Even if one of us is lying, I would tentatively hypothesize (NOT ASSUME) that all vanilla town in this game are dogs, whereas no humans are vanilla. Something to watch out for maybe if there are claims from those who stayed in Americaville.

That's pretty compelling evidence that Blarg's role claim is real. I also believe the dogs, and I believe Z-Beat because it seemed natural how he was super into testing the dogs before revealing himself. Not sure if I believe HP.
Depending on how the flavor is written, any of these roles could be mafia/Things/infected, but I find it unlikely that any of the human roles mentioned so far would be infected before D1/N1. Maybe the dogs.

Oh boy what am I reading lol RE: survivor the game made a big ol point to say win conditions may change so it’s at least possible there’s something hidden about the role/potentially just some wording issues missed in game review. If I had to kill right now in here I’d say Reki, just because of being too defensive at this point. There’s an argument to be made for HP just to remove doubt. Or if you think there’s going to be infections you could try and guess who would be the most likely to be infected if it was a conscious choice from someone but that feels very WIFOMy. I don’t even remember who all is in the other half right now.
I'd kill Neki for the refusal to talk at this point. If you're suspicious of someone in here now, you should say something. I don't see any reason to doubt any of the claims here as of right now myself, so I'm not understanding the big hesitation.
Of the other half I'd kill EC. Unless his style has changed from when we last played, he's not a player I really want to keep around for very long.

@Neki Let me brainstorm this with you a bit. You either have a PR on par with (or above) Hawthorn's Watcher or you have nothing and you are baiting actions. The fact that you are not naming yourself means that your character, if you have one, is likely tied with a clear role. I haven't seen the movie(s) so I'll leave the detective guesswork to others.
When it comes to baiting actions, what's the enemy? Many think that the scum team is either small in size or even nonexistent and that the Thing is the sole assimilating enemy we face. In both cases, exceptionally small teams have to have a lot of power - more so than normally - in their hands to stand a chance against sheer numbers of the town. I know my powers have limitations to them so if the enemy team is very small, the individuals should have a way to bypass whatever either of us can throw at them.
If you are a powerful role, your existence is already known because we all outed you with the claims. Your cover is gone and without it, your power has been diminished. I would argue that in such a position, it might be best of you to claim in order to grow trust between all of us. The baddies already want you gone, but there is no need for you to make town to desire the same as well. Are you certain that silence in this situation is the best course of action for you to take? Forget the ideal and the normal, those went out of the window when the rest of the gang started to spill their secrets.

Chuggs is a meh kill, the other team should've grilled him for an answer. We get to hear it when the day starts. But at least there is a mystery there, something that most people don't have about them. Wouldn't be a purely blind shot. Could say something about how I feel that scum Chuggs ain't too difficult to figure out, but who knows if there even are scum in this game.

For one thing, he was aggressively laying the groundwork for people to resist testing. He also hedged his reads, made pocket-like comments, and had some takes I didn't agree with. Now, that wouldn't be enough for me to kill, but you seem to have a shaky trigger finger.

So, we should probably start thinking about who we want to test collectively once the day starts. I think Chuggs is a good option and we can probably convince people from the other half to go that way too considering how strange it was that he didn't come along even with two votes.
It also makes sense to test HP since at the very least we want to confirm he's human. I don't see any reason to kill him just for being a Survivor at this point.

Yeah I feel like someone is lying about being a dog. IIRC there are 4 dogs in the movie itself (excluding the thing dog). There are 14 characters listed on the Thing Wiki as characters in the 80s movie, that however includes the two Norwegians that die at the start...so 12 + 4 dogs + the thing dog plus me (the sole survivor from the 2011 movie) gives us 18. So....do we really believe we get 3 of the 4 dogs in our group? I doubt it. There's a bad puppy among us.
