Oh good, someone new who I don't really have a read on. What are thoughts on that day end, are you surprised HP was human?

I can't say I'm shocked they're human, I'm glad I ended up throwing that last minute vote though, looks like we would've ended on a tie otherwise

Natiko voting HP like that is extremely sus. He's the only one from the away group to vote for HP, even though he knows HP's role. In a normal game, it'd make sense for self preservation, but in a game like this, if you're town, you'd enjoy a day of being confirmed not scum the next day. He even said this earlier today, he's jumped to the top of my suspicion list.

It definitely warrants probing. What was HP trying to do at the end there? He voted for himself twice in the last hour? Also Blarg just dropped his vote entirely right at the end, I know he's erratic and does stuff like that but it just never sits well

HP wants the immunity from being infected. It relates to his role. Blarg tends to make himself obvious the longer a game goes on. I don't have any reason to think he lied about his role though.

Any idea why Hawthorn wanted people to vote HP in exchange for switching to Nat? That definitely confused me at the time? Just trying to get him into isolation as well?

She might have wanted to verify that he was telling the truth. It was going to be necessary to check HP eventually, today tho is unfortunate because I don't know why he would lie, and testing one of the dogs early on would have been better I think.

Definitely something to ask, but I don't think it was a scummy move. Thorny typically has good reasons for the things she does.

Ok I think I was misreading her statement, I was reading it as she would switch from HP to Natiko, looks like it was from Chuggs to Natiko though going by the vote record.

In perfect hindsight Natiko likely would've been a better outcome, away team certainly seemed willing to trust HP for now. Things were moving very fast at days end unfortunately

Yeah, I'm not a fan of how Vere made it out to be that making an assumption about there being 5 dogs was a scummy thing. It wasn't, I feel like that swung a lot of people towards HP there right at the end. I don't know if it was a scum move, but it definitely wasn't helpful.

I reread that section so many times trying to find some kind of legitimate controversy and yeah that was some absolute non-sense. I'd lean towards mostly town running away with themselves rather than a scum gambit personally

Ok, gonna try to take another run at this. Haven't touched the game thread since last night, gonna try to go through the player list and try to post some impressions before I consult the game thread again.

Natiko - He's definitely gone up on the suspicion list, I need to review the day end (again, blergh) but I kind of want to see where in the course of events he jumped onto the HP train

EvilChameleon - Not much comes up here, looks like he's keeping tabs on the game and notionally participating. Recall a post or two saying this was normal behavior for them, I think they dumped a vote on Chuggs at the very end of the day. Seems almost intentionally contrarian

Randomless - had one of the earlier votes on HP and I think a longish write up of their choice and stuck with it through all the end of day mess. Has been active and giving reads, so I feel pretty good about them to this point in the game

HP - Not much to say here, is confirmed not infected for now and has claimed a non-vanilla role of some sort

z-beat - Was he more active in night chat, feel like I haven't heard much from him. As I recall he claimed 'Clark' in night chat as well

Verelios - Another person I don't have a strong feel on at the moment, I've certainly played with him in the past, I kinda feel like he's playing but maybe not at full speed? This might be worth a second look.

Maolfunction - You've seemed very involved in the phases I've seen you in, while I don't agree with the claim strategy I can at least understand you're given reasoning for it. I consider you lower on suspicion list than most currently.

MrHedin - I listed him among my scum reads during day 2. As I said then, this was a gut read, I can't point to any reason based argument for this. I think his participation has been like at the active end of the middle group or the low end of the most-active group.

TheChuggernaut - I felt fairly positive about Chuggs to this point. I'm a little concerned I may be leaning into that feeling a bit too much. Going forward I think I need to keep a more critical eye here

A Wild Ambulance - I listed them in my scum reads, but I think I was mostly grasping at straws. Mid range activity combined with being in the away group was all I can really recall driving this read

Nin - Guessing he's been legitimately distracted, but hoping he engages more soon, will see what he brings next day phase

Blarg - I once shared a lover's chat with him where he scum read me. I can never decide what to make of Blarg.

anexanhume - Our sole new player? Seems to have some mafia experience and claims to favor a quieter level of participation, which I can relate too but on balance doesn't seem to work well in our meta

lokiduck - Similar to Chuggs at the moment, feel pretty good about her play so far don't want to get trapped in that viewpoint though. The main difference being she hasn't had any of the dog or location issues that Chuggs has

Hawthorn - another generally positive read, don't necessarily agree with her positions on all topics but appreciate that she's getting those positions out there and collaborating

kyanrute - not much of an impression so far, feels middle of the pack

neki - Another player I don't know much about, seems to favor slower play, I do appreciate the willingness to push back against claiming
