Hello. Hopefully my hour of reckoning is not yet at hand. Speak, friend, and enter.

So now we can almost guarantee the all-isolation was a role ability, or at least a singular-occurring "event" by the game runners. This means we're kinda fucked but we can put up a good resistance and live until the base explosion happens and try to win that way.
So going off Ambu's flip, it seems Chuggs and Nat both started infected, because Ambu's mentioned being assimilated. Absolutely unreal that in a cult game like this they start with a Nat-Chuggs scum team but whatever. I know there's a possibility Ambu's flip was tailored to say that to throw us off the trail, but I think that is unlikely.
I think Hedin could be compromised if Chuggs started scum, and so could Vere. Mazre and anex are/were clean from home team, as am I, and EC is cleared by proxy and by scum trying to go for the policy kill. I think going for Blarg tomorrow is still a good choice. If Blarg is scum, then scum might've tried to do some weird Hydro Cannon-esque gambit with the Ambu-Chuggs meet-up after all. I guess they wanted to throw us off the idea of proximity based infection? I hope our cop checks loki so we don't have to burn a test there.

Okay HP I am considering you as mechanically confirmed human right now so I'm gonna be honest and ask you for your input. If you're actually scum and gonna convert me at the end of the night then whatever, because I'll win anyway right? I don't know anything about the 2011 movie so maybe your character convenes with The Things and your role is actually like Ephi in MGS but I doubt it.

Okay I read the synopsis for the 2011 movie. Your character is the only one that survives the film. Being from a different film means neutral, survivor is obvious. Okay I buy it. If it's a fake claim good job. I really don't think you're scum and I'd love your input to potentially solve this night, and then maybe the base explosion event will happen tomorrow.

I'm guessing better usage of protective roles + better usage of nin's ability + the three test day not being a bust meant we could've won that way.
Yeah Blarg was practically open wolfing, I'd be shocked if he isn't scum. That's the clear one first. And the other scum will easily bus him as well.
If my protection works tonight, there could be 8 scum tomorrow. If the base explosion doesn't happen I think we've lost regardless.
I believe tomorrow will either be the base explosion event or we just immediately lose on day start. I'll be very surprised if it's just a normal day tomorrow. That would lead me to believe that the infection mechanic isn't simple proximity and there is something more, although at this point I am almost certain proximity plays a part in it.

Okay I'm gonna switch back to Hawthorn I think. I'd rather have her Watcher result be confirmed from a townie even if it means I don't protect her because scum went elsewhere.

Why were they so cocky if scum team was Blarg, Chuggs, Ambu and loki? I guess they assumed with me claiming, I was the only protective role so they could grow uninhibited forever. Even if I made a save and we killed one, they could increase back to 4 the next night. If I fail a save but we kill one, they would increase to 6. But they didn't know about the all-isolator role and that helped us. Veryyyy interesting. I guess we just continue contact tracing now as long as we keep hitting scum from it? The problem here is the more scum we hit the more we die, so our numbers keep dwindling and scum keeps replicating. I guess that's where the base explosion comes in... I wonder when that will happen, like what's the trigger? I thought it would be when scum is just short of their 51% win con, but maybe it's based on number of days?

Okay I thought up another scenario. What if Chuggs and Nat started as infected, and Chuggs went for Hedin N1, but I protected him? Then he went again for Hedin N2 because I guess he really wanted him infected. Then Chuggs and Ambu did some weird Hydro Cannon thing and bunked together despite both being scum.
This would result in the current scum being loki, Blarg and Hedin. Even if I miss my protect we'll still be alive tomorrow in this scenario though. For me, the hole in this one is why the hell would Chuggs and Ambu bunk together? I think loki + Blarg as remaining scum is more likely situation.

I think scums attitude over the last few days has been really odd.
Yeah I agree, their attitude is strange. If loki is scum there is absolutely not a lot of support for her to be voted off, but if Blarg flips scum she'll be the next in line. I don't think anyone will disagree there at that point.
I wanted to push Chuggs harder for the tri-test. I probably would've tested Mazre, Chuggs and Z-Beat if I had my choice, which still wouldn't have been ideal but it would've meant we could then go Ambu for the 4th test.
I was worried about pushing too hard and getting people on my ass. That's why I claimed when the tests came up all town, I knew Maol, Z-Beat, maybe you, and others would want to test me and that would spell the end for town. It remains to be seen if my claim was a good choice or not but I guess we won't know until the end of the game at this point.
I think scum could have something up their sleeve as well. Like they might have a roleblock, or a one-shot scum vig, or like a one-shot "strong" infection or something like that.

I'm gonna laugh if at the end of the game it turns out that contact tracing is real but scum don't get to pick who they bunk with like the rest of us.
But I agree with your thinking that the challenge is a form of protection. That's how I've been considering it, and that's why I picked Hawthorn to bunk with when I won the challenge yesterday. I assumed that would protect her and I and I could use my protection elsewhere.
