My logic is based on the famous “goat problem”
It’s not clear to me if moves are submitted privately or publicly. The risk of double teaming is that that one could choose to defend.

I’m guessing risky attack has a chance to get reciprocal damage.

Since we have more HP, it seems the conservative approach is that one fighter always defends, and the other always does a normal attack. Switch who is defending/attacking based on HP or enemy trying to detect pattens.

Wait defends have to be directed too. I think that incentivizes just attacking and eliminating one, then we can defend against the other. Should we just gang on Blarg to start?

Yeah I've all but given up. I'm still lost as to whether my attacks are actually doing anything, or if I'm voting for our champion to attack, etc. I just have it on my copy & paste and every 30 minutes or so I drop in and post it.
Probably going to be my last bastard game. I didn't know the game could devolve so much that it wasn't what we originally signed up to play, and instead turn into four new games at once, while also still having day/night phases and night actions and this and that and the other.
I'm beyond confused, and just disappointed in myself, really. I'm clearly too stupid for this high octane bastard gameplay, lol.

Yep I’m in agreement obviously with Neki.

my work schedule doesn’t accommodate this particular mechanic at all and that seemed to be the case for the remaining town as well. That on top of the some of the infected’s comments just killed what motivation I had left.

so if there’s a way town can just surrender and let the thing team win then let’s just get it over with. :/

Also this isn’t on you game runners at all. Game running is a hard thing to do and you really don’t know how things are going to go down until they happen. You guys made a really great game that is super different from anything this community has experienced, plus I can have smug satisfaction that my final scum reads were right I guess.

Personally what might have helped this game was labeling it as unusual because this game is a different beast than even a typical Bastard game.

If it had been labeled bastard unusual from the beginning it would have probably had different expectations. I still had a ton of fun over all!

you did a good job recapturing the right amount of paranoia required for a game based on the Thing.

I wanted to go out in a blaze of glory like my flavor name and that clearly isn’t happening now, but still I had a lot of fun and I’m proud of the work I put in late game even if I never actually got to use it.
