Past participants include such superstars as Sorian (N3) and Chuggs (N2). Didn't talk to anyone N1. You can have my name if you have a use for it and if you can convince me that there is no name vigilante in your team of baddies.

Can you explain Vampire Potter to me in the simplest terms possible? You passively or otherwise without influence receive watch results from "Vampire Potter". Correct? Do you think it is possible that you could've been redirected by Zipped, why?

Was Muffin telling the truth about his vote being lost? Which NK is fake, if any?

vampire potter is an unknown player who i waatch every night. anyone visiting him are called”preps” which i also crumbed earlier.

i am called watcher so i don’t see any reason it couldn’t be redirected, role blocked, ninjaed to avoid, etc.

I suspect there is no name vigilante because i am also a prep vigilante. I can shoot anyone i’ve seen do thing. This is currently vincent and nin and i would like to point out their continuing health, i paid attention to VA’s softing of a green check and chose to withhold. I am withholding again tonight so if he dies scum did it; also nin seems town/not mafia because claiming an inherited role with not-inherited flavor is too complicated for a scum claim imo and i’m just not feeling it.

Any inconsisties are due to the following options:

Fakes in the order of likeliness malus > Donnie > BoJack. malus' restriction / explanation is not highlighted in red, whereas BoJack and Donnie have stuff like "will only protect Mary Sues" and "Can see if a Mary Sue or Gary Stu visited your target and how many." Not sure if that's a meaningful difference or just an Alaskan Marmalute tbh. Blind fake on N1 when you know nothing about the game would be daring, though the scattershot approach of many investigative powers in the same role could've been an attempt to spread distrust about movement. Seems far-fetched though.

Nothing conclusive, pretty WIFOM imo. The malus-to-boost-Nat idea came to me as well. But malus was softing something of that nature anyway and the godmother was dead. I don't really see the point there unless they knew malus' role and wanted a more certain check.

I'm thinking that scum Muffin claimed the vote theft for town karma. I think it just is a big WIFOM trap, "scum wouldn't claim this, scum wouldn't use it". Rando's final post is just an addition to this, a wish that town ends up thinking favorably of Muffin because "scum wouldn't attach themselves to their mates like that, no way." Might be a hint of desperate scum there too. And actually using the shot on N1 is just... very meh. Rando's fake claim relied on the vote for one, can't really expect much out of that claim if you've used the power already. The power even might not have had a endgame restriction to it, or at least the PM does not mention it, so in the right circumstances the steal would've been very powerful.

Yah basically i think killing atp is a solid move. It might be what rando was hoping, to give the others another day, but i tink its closer to 50/50 than 70/30 so i’m willing to go there anyway.

Our doctor was kinda weak, it wouldn't surprise me if there was other protection out there and the nightkill didn't go through.

With this kind of investigative weight being tossed around, there should be a ninja to balance it out. I don't think you are a good NK at this point. We have highly likely greens and even one of their sources. Maybe Zook dies tonight, though I doubt it with how much he has been around. You'll see the morning I imagine.

I might or might not have ideas about his role. Some of his act is just an act, but then there is stuff like malus' Nat crumbs, which I pointed out to him last night the chat we had. I claimed to have missed them. He then opens up the day by declaring that it is obvious that malus was softing Nat and everybody should've seen it. A lot of it is an act lol.

Town and Light Town are ordered from most townie to least, the other tiers are not ordered.

Most of these are just re-iterations of reads I already explained, I'll go over the ones I have not talked much about.

I feel like Muffin used the stolen vote D2 to kinda just not do much. Today I am a bit weirded out by some posts, the insta-self-vote after getting 1 vote from Sorian seemed like an overreaction. I don't want to be an ass but it's not like the walls are enclosing around Muffin here.

Kyan seemed to appear just in the nick of time on D2 to sweep away suspicion. When he does makes posts and reads I find they're pretty decent at least.

Kopite is pretty much just low-poster "could feasibly be scum" which is lame but yeah.

VA is leftover sentiment from yesterday.

I could see malus being scum here with a fake slip. I don't agree with LP that scum is in a decent place, they got some good nightkills but starting off one member down is a big hurdle. Maybe they are desperate to try some different things to get town cred.

I'm willing to vote anyone in the scum-ish pile, but I think the lowposters, that is Kyan, VA, Kopite, malus, would be a boring LHF vote and after we just offed Geno I'd rather avoid that for today. Out of the null pile I could be swayed to vote Nat or darkside. Nobody in any list is screaming out "certified scum vote me now" to me unfortunately so I don't feel amazingly strongly about any vote.

I also disagree that scum always make sure they have a vote down, I think it's more of a case by case thing depending on the player and their meta. I know scum!LP for instance often won't have a vote down. In the sense that it's highly unlikely that the entire scum team will refrain from voting, then yes sure I'll agree with you there.

LP has felt rather town around the day ends. I don't feel he has been pushing alternatives to outright bad ends. melon has the mass-town feeling D2 end to her defense, but otherwise she's been coasting. I think I wanted to see more from Kopite yesterday, not sure if that ever materialized. Which might be a sign that it did not.

So I was thinking after the last game, where the scum team was entirely within the bottom 2-3 posters at the end of the game, and it was mentioned in spec that going through PoE based off post count isn't really something done in our community.

Open question to all, who do you think among this list is most likely to be scum?

I probably feel the best about LP here based off what he's posted thus far, I feel he's made some insightful points on nin and Sorian. darkside seems okay, seems to be leaning less into the "I'm new"-isms compared to his debut but it's still early. Zipped I'm willing to take monkey's advice and leave him to resolve himself as the game goes on. I've learned my lesson on that one. That leaves Kopite or Kyan, who are for me the most likely scum out of this list.

Of course this is based off very little but that's the fun of D1 D2

We have previously had at least one scum role in this community that could sacrifice their own vote for a day in exchange for later gain. iirc it was Reki who had the role and it was a LoVe game even, Fate Mafioso. So I would not mark down Muffin as immediately townie over that. Vote Thief is certainly more likely though, I'll give you that.

My guess is Outlander. I haven't seen it but I've heard it is very steamy

Line 1, you lie, you evil. I think you showed hints of flavor-fishing right from the get-go, so there's some consistency to your madness. The bizarre claim fits the actions. Your play as whole has been odd but open. You lying however is the simplest explanation to all this.

Vampire Potter's identity is meaningless, if not for Sorian denying being him. If he is not it and you were not redirected, he was not checked. Zipped was. Unless Vampire Potter is a completely hidden mechanic or Sorian is lying just for some big ass lols, line 3 seems faulty as well.

Leaves me with line 2, which I think you speculated about in the thread at some point. Zipped redirects you to him, you see nin and VA. VA targets Sorian but is redirected by a third party (possible/likely scum) to Zipped, returns with a green. Not impossible, I picked up VA softing things, maybe others did too. nin is the issue, because why would he move? The one thing I could see is that he rolled a bad result and appeared on movement reports because of it. This is notably more far-fetched and nigh impossible to prove.

I think nin is the weak link here, after you. It is quite unlikely that he moved with the role he has claimed, a claim that he already changed a bit. If you really saw him move, you should shoot him. What better way to prove yourself than a hero vigi shot?

Rando liked you a lot throughout the game, never really wavering. He loosely defended against your train on D3 and stirred the pot, looking for alternatives. There's some minor pushback against Haw too, who scum read you on D2.

Other than that, there isn't much. He endlessly teases switching is town read on Haw towards red, never committing. Feels like he was smelling the air instead of bussing.

Some vote thief memery to the WIFOM pile I guess.
