Anyway when we gather 8 player we'll play some minigames, where slowly people will be eliminated, the winner will be revived.

S’all good. I’ll admit it was a daunting day to have to try and pay attention to lol. Hope you don’t take the frustration from the players to heart, I’m sure it will be a small bump well forgotten when this game wraps up.

To be fair it almost happened, no vote was on -2 at some point, after the votes got reset everyone wanted a flip suddenly, can't blame you for thinking you'd get out of it.

I played ONUW only once, in person, and I was bad at it. Let’s see how I do here. If everybody agrees a mass claim is the way to go, I’ll claim.

You look at the two cards in the center, as opposed to flipping one random players card.

it is almost universally the better play.

OK, here's my understanding so far:

I am a villager.

There are 11 roles in the game and 8 players. Three of the roles are the "center cards"; they are unassigned but may be interacted with during the night phase. Almost all actions happen in the one night phase before the game start. Due to the actions of some roles, some players may not know their true roles or alignments.

Players (8):
Zipped
Hawthorn - claimed villager
Fate
Kawl
Bojack
Turmoil - claimed Hunter
Sparks
Vere - claimed werewolf

Roles (11; 3 in the center):
2 Werewolves (mafia goons)
2 Villagers (ordinary town)
Seer (town, can look at another player's card, or a card in the center)
Robber (town, can trade roles with another player
Troublemaker (town, switches two players' roles)
Tanner (neutral, wins if killed)
Drunk (town, exchanges their card with a center card meaning they do not know their current role or alignment)
Hunter (town; will kill another player of their choice on death)
Minion (mafia; town doesn't win if they're killed)

I think it's clear that we will not solve this without a mass claim. I encourage everyone to claim.

Also what Zipped was trying to say was that if nobody claims seer, there may be no player who has the seer role; i.e. the seer role is one of the unassigned cards. If we were playing in person, the unassigned roles would be in a pile facedown in the middle of the table.

Also I've stopped following the main game. Hope things are going ok over there. Very impressed with all the effort Geno put in.

And things are going okay in main thread. Neutral and scum (?) deaths today.

Pity about one of my fellow neutrals, although some might say that I was basically town. But I'll stop with the main game talk before I get a warning. And no worries, I was also confused by the rules so I looked up a wiki.

I continue to urge all to claim.

I have amended my ways and seen the light. I was too closed off in the main thread so here I felt like being honest and cheerful would serve us all well.
