Nah, scum get the bonus of shooting a 'random' townie. Brazil doesn't really have scum reads in the main thread and sorian had a point that he was Neutral hunting and not scum hunting at the end there. So he comes into today with no scum reads, no mention of kawl at all, and just so happens to shoot him?

I'm trying to be kind of detached from this little game within a game,
Honestly I am kind of trying to wait to see how these ITA's turn out before I go too hard into anything. How I'm trying to approach is to kind of take a step back when all the genoness is going on and then trying to sort it out a bit later after things have calmed down and the thread slows a bit.
You have any general thoughts from the game you want to shoot around? I feel like we're seeing the game from two different places but I don't think your position comes across as scummy

Nah, I can understand that. It's basically how I'm approaching this game in general knowing things can change drastically so quickly so I'm trying focus more on the 'in the moment' gameplay rather than deep dives. It's honestly leaving me a little lost given how much is going on but I'm hoping what im doing is laying down the work for future Town to figure all this out. getting info down on the page that can be looked at later sorta thing.

I like the approach of looking outwards from town reads. Here's some of mine but these aren't the strongest
I think Fran is town. Feel like he put a lot of work in when he got called out by us, and I thought the conclusions he reached seemed genuine.
Hedin feels good. Liked his back and forth with Fanto and I feel like his reaction to that tracks with what I expect from town Hedin
I think ATP getting heated there was genuine. I've pushed him for his games starting off a bit slow recently, and I think he's trying to find his footing here still, but it feels townie and I think this leads to heartbreak for town
Wee seems aggressively town. Her vibes have been great so far.
Ephi also just seems aggressively town. As the certified Ephi whisper none of her usual scum tells are here and she just gives off the eager and excited vibe.
Fate is probably town
Fanto/nin. I think this slot got pushed a lot because Fanto was putting the spotlight on herself, but she came across as pretty townie to me

I hate saying this, but Sorian as only been trending upwards on my town read scale since my initial town read.
Ael's energy just seems real relaxed. Could see them maybe being neutral or something, but I do not get scum vibes from them at all.

Actually let me explain Fando and Brazil a bit because I feel like that's a hot topic. This is super fucking meta but with how much they keep gravitating toward each other it honestly feels like they just rolled town and they're seeing town in themselves. If they're on opposite teams I don't think they do this to this degree, and if they're on the same team there's no way they do this to any degree. I think they've kind of latched onto each other because they're not on a team.

think i might disagree on stan but it's mostly gut. on the surface he's fine but when i went back to check why he took zook's vote away i came away from it a little unsure about him. I don't know if he's scum just enjoying the weird fame he got or he's neutral having a laugh. but he's not doing a lot of pro-town stuff.

Geno game and all that, but I really don't see a gladiator as a scum role and him getting emotional didn't strike me as a scummy reaction tbh. I could be wrong here, but I feel like it's going to resolve itself before it ends up mattering.

im still puzzling over salva's vote coming back and stan's being decreased. it seems related given it happened right after his vote was taken away which makes me think it's a reflexive kind of ability. i agree with other's that he's been around a lot but isn't actually scumhunting in any way - he's just enjoying being here and having a good time. considering other's are doing the same and still looking for scum it gives me a bad vibe but not one i'd gun for today. guess i'd watch him? but he wouldn't be someone i'd be opposed to seeing flip
Blarg i have no fucking clue. him being on vacation and not posting as much is making it harder to even read him when he's a bit difficult in general. i still stick by the rule of thumb that if blarg isnt trying to solve by D3 or D4, even if it's just conspiracy theories, then he's likely scum. i havent seen solving here so far either but i remember thinking his shot choice was interesting at least. he'd be one i'd watch as well.
