Example 1:
N1 Splinter uses the ability to investigate someone and Swamped is killed that night, then Splinter dies as well.

Example 2:
N1 Splinter uses the ability to investigate someone, but neither is killed.
N2 neither of you uses the ability, but Swamped is killed. Splinter stays alive.

Question: so if one of us dies, does the other still get to use the investigate power, if there are shots left?

My original intention, even though not explicitly mentioned, was that you both have to be alive so that one of you can use the investigate power.

I will think about it again and come back to you with a final ruling in a few minutes.

Okay, I didn't rule it out explicitly in the PM (as the flavor text does not count), so I'm willing to meet you halfway. Should one of you survive, if you did not use your ability twice already, the remaining member has one shot left.

Splinter - do you think either of us could be targets for an NK tonight? I'm a bit quiet so maybe I am, but I think I'm coming across as an unknown entity so maybe not. Will it look too artificial if we throw shade at each other?

To be perfectly honest, I keep thinking we're scum and not a mason team lol. I'm just in the scum mindset.

Well we still have plenty of time but I guess we should also start thinking about it we want to use our power and and on whom?

Yessss we both got shade. Unlikely either of us will get lynched though (fingers crossed).

At a conference but will try to post a vote if I need to change for some reason. Geno still seems scummy for some reason. And I don't trust turmoil either...

I think there's enough suspicion on us that we shouldn't be NK'd. Always a chance but I do think we should risk it tonight. We can probably save the second shot for later.

So who should we target? I'm curious about Fendo after his bold defense of CoolSpot, but I worry it'll get him a lot of attention tonight.

I agree that we should use our power tonight! As for who to target... Will have a think. I'm curious about Fando too. Wee and turmoil are interesting too, but maybe for another night depending on how they continue playing.

Ynnek would be another good choice for tonight I think.
