welcome! i was getting worried that i wasn't going to have an active partner today and was getting sad.

My apologies. I was working through day start last night and woke up only 2 hours ago.

How are we feeling? Things seem pretty boring in there. I guess the result of Geno's experiment is "Everyone is jetlagged in their costumes and they can't really do anything" lol

I think even the 50% ITA shot hitting wouldn't move people too much.

i don't know how to approach this and link everything to the main thread, i can make some educated guesses on who is who for some people but i don't trust that i will be right with enough of them to feel good about making calls that way. i'm mostly just trying to find something push like with illum 2 and see where it leads.

i think flips can give info but i would be very hesitant to use the ita myself unless i was really sure i had something. i am voting for illum 2 now but i don't know if i feel strongly enough to shot that direction right now considering that i would also be taking out their partner, if it was just them by themselves i think i would take the shot.

I really do think IM2 is Sawneeks, not only because of posting style, but also because she's been exactly that way in the main game - a bit hedgy, and making a lot of noise over minute details. I haven't played with her in a long time, so I dunno if this is just her still getting her bearings as town... But she's not really solving, IMO.

I wouldn't vote there because of this phase, but I think I would vote there if I can more accurately tie IM2's behavior to Sawneeks' previous behavior in my head.

Still, it feels too easy. That's literally the only thing that's happened in this phase thus far. Surely the only fucking event in a day phase isn't centered around scum, right? lol

that makes sense and i agree she has been hanging back a bit so far. i don't think she is unique in that way, i think a lot of people are not really solvely, but she would normally be someone i would look to if she was town t be doing something.

it's probably unlikely but i really didn't like im2's initial push against cata and how they acted under some pressure.

i do think catalina made a bad play but i don't think they do what they did as scum unless they really wanted to lean into wifom.

i think it fits that catalina has some info, he's been quieter than usual in the main thread and hadn't really tried anything openly so it makes sense that he's sitting on something.

so we have a neutral claim and then a vig shot which completely killed one townie and kinda killed another townie but the vig shot probably is pure. stuff has happened but i don't think stuff has happened that leads to much solving you know?

if we hadn't flipped two town players already this phase i would say let's take our best shot and see what we get. i don't want to escalate that rate more if we can help it. plus i don't know if we are still going to be paired up at night, that could be another double kill. if we think we can find the red check then do it, if not i'm fine waiting to be sure.

yeah if we get it wrong and its a double kill night thats a big oof. i was fine with the nuke like i was fine with the ita earlier because with the ec flip we gave ourselves a little wriggle room, i would hate to give it all back.

well this day's events turned into a bit of a shitshow. i really don't know how to go from there, we have some information but i don't feel like we have enough of the right information to do anything with it.

It’s a fucking mess, hahaha. There are a ton of actual mechanics being revealed out there, though. Should be great reading materials for when we’re back in our bodies.

assuming we can figure out who was who then. everything around that neighbor chat feels weird and i can't figure out if its just weird but fine or weird and needs to be looked into.

Hopefully when Ephi flips we’ll get the second scum team revealed, and we can work from there with actual mafia investigation.

that would help. as i mentioned in thread there appears to be something going on between im3 and wee that needs to be untangled too. so we have some leads that we can follow up on.

also without knowing if we lose these when the day ends or not, kudos and thanks for staying in character/costume (or at least not telling). i never like when people don't go along with costumes, its the nofunallowed gif personified.
