It isn't even a power. It is just a small flavour bonus for my role based on zeke's mgs role. The only clue I got that I could even do something is that at the end of my role pm it says something might be hidden. Could have been literally anything, could have been related to my item.

I personally think coming into the thread and asking for updates is NAI, and people can coast as town too. That said there isn’t anything about either player this phase that has stood out to me as particularly townie either. I’d be fine with that flip over a no flip if nothing else.

Technically we have no idea who attempted to deliver a kill, so it’s possible Ephi would know targeting themselves would be fine. Don’t really think you’re Ephi tho

Hmmmm, Q has been somewhat around, but yeah I can't recall shit. The only thing I remember about Cinderella was trying to buy the nuke. I could vote there.

From what I recall Q has just complained about amount of posts and Cinderella has made catty snipes. That's about it. If there is a scum paired with scum pairing, I could buy it being there.

Lot of people no voting.

People voting Barney for being involved early then drifting out the game. Their partner Kool Aid Man hasn't done much either.
the counter play to that seems to be Cinderella and Q. neither have been memorable in the phase.

Catalina has claimed neutral (idk who this is btw), their partner Zordon has been pretty townie.

If I wanted to take a shot i would also think about

Claude/Ghost of Stealing Stan
Niko/Captain Skunkbeard

Their view on no kill. I think risking killing multiple town is stupid. They have echoed those sentiments.

We have a red check on ephi. We know at least one person is a neutral. We've got good information out of this day without the need to risk further damage.

If we absolutely had to kill someone it would probably be pink and carl. No offence to Carl but I really don't like pinks manner.

I think everyone complaining about wanting to get back to “playing real mafia” and yet no-voting are giant silly people who should have taken This weird day as a day one and tried to get reads. Which is what i’ve tried to do myself. Risking killing multiple town when we just had a deathless night AND have one scum and one neutral flip already, is fine. It’s the best time even.

No voting is terribly scummy even on day one. Nobody should do it.

Worrying to death about killing town is pointless and gets in the way. Be more bloodthirsty, i say.

Ye're soft. The crew be in good shape. EC be dead 'n Ephi be about t' join 'im in his grave. We lost a copper, true, but our numbers are still strong against wha's left o' the rotten vermin lot. We shant be afeared t' flip more players, especially the ones who are actin' scummish.

Honey is very likely scum imo

I bet scum had an ability to get access to someone's costume account. This is a role that has existed previously in older games, I think it never got used before the user died which is a running gag. I bet they picked Sparks to invade and then roleplayed as Sparks with their other account to get us confused and act rashly.

That said I don't know if it's worth it to sack Stan to get a likely scummie. If Goldar says they're okay being a martyr then sure I guess, but I'd rather force scum to take care of the pub lord.

we already killed multiple town? we basically got back to even considering the ec flip and missed night kill.

as i said before we have real leads despite the costumes, this day is not a waste.

Voting today is not that different than misvoting two days straight, or a modifier that makes it so two players have to be voted out. Damage is going to be made regardless, we need to keep voting and forcing scum to engage if we want to progress in the game.

Since no one has claimed Simon and we haven’t seen a day power here are the negative options we could be facing :

1-shot, everyone gets Roleblocked except the mafia NK's.
1-shot, next day the voted out player will not flip.
1-shot, 5 night actions are randomized the next night.

I’m going to guess they would either do the first or second, and we’ll know by tomorrow most likely if the first was chosen so if we don’t see sign of that we may want to prepare for no flip.

They are 100% doing the no flip, since it's almost a given town will go after ephi.

I'll argue randomnized actions help town more than scum.

I could see uses on both sides, especially if it landed on a mafia team that doesn’t get to kill the next night but yeah. I don’t think it’s a likely pick.

The only player I've really been able to get a read of during this phase has been Claude, and I gotta say I don't put much faith in behavior-based reads formed in this particular thread.

The way we've interacted through our chat has left me with a faint, but good impression of them. They've been following along and commenting on every single event, although mostly in terms of "When we're back to the main game, then ____", which is something that I can easily relate to. Feels like someone who's been trying to find an opening to wedge some Mafia play in.

Wouldn't vote.

I think Pink could be a neutral, but I really doubt they’re mafia between the described infiltration (a hidden mechanic just for one role that Zeke got in MGS Redux) and Zeke not being on the mod team ever.

Pazzo is not convinced by flavor arguments. Pazzo thinks putting too much stock into the flavor is a bad idea. Aeleus is part of the mod team and their role was a town flip. Pazzo would also like to point out that fake claims exist.

I'd like to believe in our Pub Lord. Honey is a non-entity but I'd not want to touch that boat.

Pink being infiltrator is very NAI. Their posting and intent to read the game feels more town than not. Not voting there.

I'm not opposed to the Barney rationale. Especially after rereading and seeing Barney active in the poker game but quiet during the rest of the day until pressure started to boil. Seems like they're in this for the wrong reasons. I'm pro-flip so that's enough to convince me.

I’m aware fake claims exist, but I think the overlap between the role and the historical context of it makes it a harder sell that the flavor was faked. Also, of course some mod members will be town - there’s been a bunch of them over the years. I also just town read them separately from this and have since D2 to be fair.
