I was getting the Happy Gilmore gif ready after the claim and before the flip. Chalk one up to the gut, it's now like 2 for 25.

What do you think of Zeke at the end?

Didn't love Zeke there, but I feel like scum wouldn't be quite that obvious. Not shocked he's really trying to slam that Vere vote through, it's a very Zeke thing to do, but I don't think it makes him scum. I think everyone around that didn't switch looks good though. I think scum wouldn't switch there either, but I think being there and saying you're not going to when you have a chance to save a teammate is a weird way to play it. Everyone there played that without panicking too much. That's legit just you, Ty, and ATP, but it's a start for a reason to strong town read some people

It's a weird move for Zeke to say Swamped wasn't lying about being a gift giver since it's a night action regardless, like how would he even know? I think he needs pressure tomorrow at least.

I'm mixed on ATP at the end. You are right he didn't panic and let things play out but I don't like him just sitting there at EOD without putting a vote down.

It's not great tbf, but I just kind of had a nothing vote on HP so I'll give him a bit of credit for it. I'm guessing it's something in his role for sure. It's not a great look. I probably won't pressure him myself, but I'm not going to argue against someone doing that.

I almost did even make EOD. Got home from the movie, just started to catch up, and came to a vote total post showing 5 min left. I really thought it ended at 4est.

What's your thoughts on Thorny? I don't feel like scum her would pair with Swamped to both be on me but stranger things have happened.

Thorny is tricky for me and I just always read her slightly scummy. I want to say scum did not do a stack there, but it's possible. She's probably in my null pile for now. Let me look through the votes and see if I find anything else interesting

For full transparency, if Swamped had flipped town I was going to consider doing that tonight depending on how the chat went, but not really planning on it now

Anyway, on the Swamped vote if there's a bus, it's Geno. That's a Geno thing to do there. Vere's is kind of whatever too, and honestly scum just throwing votes on each other there would probably be the way to go if you were trying to distance yourselves, but I town read Vere currently so not super interested in that. Your vote is good. Ty's is good.

Vere's wagon looks rough. nin's vote is bad, and we've talked about Zeke already

For HP the only other person there is Kopite, and I'll be real, I like Kopite. Think he's got good vibes. There's possibly something here with HP

Salva has a self joke vote on himself. This is basically a no vote. Not a fan of that

No voting is Zipped, HP, and ATP. We've talked about ATP a bit, but the other two I just don't have much of a beat on. HP I think comes out looking slightly worse than Zipped, but it's weird how apathetic they were here.

Honestly this is kind of a mess, and I wonder if we're dealing with an inactive scum team. There's like no sense of trying to save their teammates here

That's a pretty neat design, that could really swing things in a game this size.

My role isn't that strong but could be useful if the right circumstances come up at which point I will have to give up my Neki No Claim card and claim openly. That's probably a D3 thing depending on how things go?

It is a weird vote at the time and I can see what you mean about it being a Geno thing with just throwing a random vote on a teammate who had no votes and no real pressure at the time. He didn't leave much to go on with his holiday weekend so we'll have to see how things go at the start of the day with him.

I think Vere is fairly town. I think he got too stuck in with Zeke and was taking a bit personally so he didn't get around to do much more than those back and forths. I think if he was teamed with Swamped they could have tried to pivot to HP or myself.

I'm really struggling with nin's vote to be frank. He said he wasn't going to touch the whole Zeke and Vere thing, made a big show about it, and then ended up voting for Vere because of all that? Also no real reads to go off of beyond that either. When I put my read list together I look at his play and most players the play would put them right towards the top of my list but I tend to overlook it with him but that Vere vote is hard to overlook. For HP the only other person there is Kopite, and I'll be real, I like Kopite. Think he's got good vibes. There's possibly something here with HP

The one thing that's bothering me about Kopite is that it felt like he suspected ATP the most and didn't really do anything with it? I know he re-read things and thought HP came off worse between those two when he was looking so that's why he voted for HP but I wish I had picked that up before I left for the movie or someone else followed with him on a why because there was a lack of reasoning there. I don't know if I want to read anything with him only going to HP after you had voted there as well. I do think my thought that he was being a little too passive to be scum still applies but then I saw your comment that this could be an inactive scum team and that passivity could fit in there (plus he was gone at EOD).

I'm assuming a 3 person scum team in a 14 player game so two of them stacking in on spot early would feel a little weird. I didn't love that she had a read on me based on incorrect info, was told the correct info and acknowledged it, but then still kept the vote. I'm still split on her, I think there is a good chance that she's just a wrong town here but I really need her to pick up on something tomorrow too.

I have absolutely no clue where Zipped stands. I didn't love making that vote on him because I've been burned going down the early game town Zipped not giving much yet too many times but at the same time I don't feel bad looking him over. I kind of think in my mind he deserves the leeway I give nin more but I seem unable to make that switch for some reason.

I'm the opposite of you when it comes to HP and Zipped, I don't think either one of them comes out great but there are some light town reads and interactions with HP that are missing with Zipped. I have no idea who he suspects though which is an issue when you don't vote at all, felt like he was waiting for something to jump on maybe?

I know ATP doesn't love D1s and just tries to get through them but again I don't know who he is negative against and he only has light town reads as well. He said he didn't want to vote Swamped and didn't but he was active and the end and never put down a vote of any kind, I don't love that at all. I do agree with your point that he initially looks good by not switching to save but I can also see him making the calculation of not taking both of them down together if it backfires. I would have him higher up my list than Zipped or HP but that's not saying a whole lot, he's more in the middle right now for me than the top.

I think part of it was there wasn't much movement at the end to try to jump on a counterwagon, a teammate of Swamped would have had to go on a pretty decent sized limb to try to start one of their own at the end. Still I was sitting out there with 2 votes, HP was out there with 2 votes, and Vere was out there with two votes at a time when Swamped was only at 3 votes and had several town reads so someone could have tried something there. I'm going to WIFOM the reasons for that a bit (inactives, already on those votes, combo) but yeah unless its Zeke no one made an attempt.

Yeah it's an interesting twist and I'm personally glad it's there because oh boy do I seem to roll gossip in every game now.

Yeah the Vere thing was mostly me just spitballing. His vote on Zeke isn't great, but I've been on that side of Zeke before so I get it. He still reads real town, and it would probably take a red check or everyone else being super town for me to go there.

I'll keep an eye on ATP, but I have a hard time wrapping my hands around not jumping on Vere when Zeke sounded the alarm. Like worst case with it looking real bad he could still just be like "I was going off Zeke's info"
