Literally the most surface level read I can throw out with what we have so far. I always like the person who tries to pull the game kicking and screaming from the contractually obligated banter and I also appreciate that Ty acknowledged it so the mildest smiles at Chuggs and Ty.

I think the mechanics make easy to justify(for scum) an early hammer by saying they wanted the exp the next day.
I think we should agree to not hammer without wide consensus by the town
Idk that I like that this game, at least early on, incentivizes everyone to steamroll one vote instead of having good competing wagons. Once we unlock all three of our skills, it can even out more but as it stands, the game really does just want us all pick one person and get everyone we can onto the vote to min-max exp.

I have! They kinda suck, but 13-2 is randomly kinda awesome. It’s like a weird riff on Chrono Trigger. Just don’t pay too much attention to the dialogue.
Maybe if we don’t collectively sit on our hands til close to day end it’ll work itself into multiple competing wagons close to majority. We’re rusty but maybe also a bit incentivized to not completely throw the first game in many moons.

I see that I was not the only one that was thinking about that. With one of the 3 ways of getting xp being being in the leading wagon at the end of day it incentivates people to jump in the leading wagon to get that sweet xp. It could make reading the vote tool of old days a real pain.
Also, even if you are lucky and get all the xp you can, you need to get to day five to get all your abilities. A tier 3 ability can't be learned until N3.

Rereading the thread and the mechanics (which I somehow missed on my first read through). I do think that people instinct-voting isn't' by itself a reason to suspect them. However, people jumping into a large bandwagon just because they want the XP is a weaker excuse.
Both sides (and independents, if they exist in this game) are incentivized to unlock their powers relatively early but I'm not sure if scum will be super eager to jump into bandwagons that are just starting. They'll probably try to lay low and then start throwing shade at people that were reckless in bandwagoning on day 1.
As for reads. It's still too early to say. I'll have to let a bit more time to pass before I make any judgements.
