I don't think it's melon. She has very good interactions with the flipped scum.
Wizard was clearly bussing with a D1 vote on Alexem and heavy shading of malus yet he kept townreading melon and even pretended to save her. Alexem seemed wary of mentioning scum, but seemed to have a pretty strong townread on melon.
I'll come back was about to start something else but I bought from Natiko, the math doesn't math right so I assume Alex spent more exp than what he said. My grand theory which looks to be wrong is that the less experience you spend the worse the item is. So I spent 2 as well since that seemed to get a reaction if Alex was telling the truth. I had a rerun of the newspaper and the green and white potion + a white flag and two cans on a string. I bought the potion and I just find it funny because it was the poison cure. Funny enough, it uses immediately so like I couldn't use the potion on someone else, basically Blarg had to exactly be invited by Nat on that day and the buy the potion.

I’m left with Melon here who just feels like dejected scum, seemed very hesitant to claim, and who really seemed to jump at a chance to get an Alex counterwagon going despite jumping on the hammer

It finally doesn't feel hopeless to color these in when we have some more flips.
Alex got a sizable wagon D1 and iirc he got some heat too. While the wagon never grew bigger than this I don't think it would've been completely crazy for him to flip D1.

I don't think the tiers always matter. Fran's tracker is a lower tier than mine but does the same thing for less xp.

Kinda feels like Fran was taking down because he was pushing for Chuggs. And I'm not loving how Ty and Chuggs have currently taken over Fran's leadership position to sway (read: overwhelm) the thread with noise.

Feel free to slap me for being crazy, but Alex claimed to have spent 2XP in the shop and Natiko won after shopping with Sorian. He needed 8XP.
Obviously that 2XP is likely to be a fake amount, but they could've worked with Nat to help him gain enough XP to win since getting him out of the game helps scum.
Sorian is invited so he can dump enough XP into him and scum kill Fran so he can't explain how much XP he gave to Nat, but we can probably calculate it since Fran used his 6XP power to kill Wizard.
For the record I spent 1XP in the shop and if nin and natiko are telling the truth nin spent 0.
Anyways, it probably doesn't mean much, but I found it interesting.

It’s not a bad theory, but also Sorian has zero reason to even claim he was the one in that chat. Like I kind of just believe him here and it’s not unreasonable to assume Alex lied. I think it would be better for Sorian to claim he had more XP than he actually did.
the thing I keep getting hung up on still is this hiding role. I would need to go back and look at the PM’s but everything seems to be pretty uniform in how it works, but for some reason this hide shot is different between two different players and I don’t get why that’s the case.

Fran had been on 3 lead votes and seen 4 day starts when he shot Wizard. That would've given him 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 9XP total.
He had already used a tracker which together with the vig is 2 + 6 = 8XP
The max amount of XP he could've given Nat is 1XP unless I've messed up somewhere.

It's tier 1, I've said this a few times already. The tier is check room and i was told I would be able to hide with my target. I asked Hedin before the game started if that meant I would die if they were scum because no one agrees what a hider is and he said he couldn't answer me until after I bought it. I assumed it would be the "weak" version that doubles as an investigation which is why I shouted out nin's name day 2 and after I bought it Hedin confirmed with me that it worked the way I thought.
I'm like 99% sure that Fran said he spent 1 exp. That's the whole reason I had my item theory in the first place. I also didn't pay enough to get him up to the 8 based on what was claimed which means Alex was lying about how much he spent.

Like honestly, I was hung up on this yesterday but didn't feel like distracting from Alex but now since I'm a kind of lost between worlds that have you, Muffin, and/or Ty. If you are really town, Hedin was being coy with me until after I actually bought and got the command for the ability.

I'm busy tonight so don't expect much from me until like 10 hours from now but for those who want to solve I think the key is the "feeling unwell" blargonaut received.
I'm expecting two more scum and one to have an evolution type role (me, muffin, chuggs, ty4on) and the other to be another JOAT who caused blarg to feel unwell (everyone else). At least AFAIR unless xp sharing is indeed a thing verified actions mean me chuggs and muffin couldn't have done the poisoning.
Of the people who could have done the poisoning (Melon, Nin, Zipped, Sorian, Turm)
- nin was green checked by sorian
- Zipped red checked malus
- turm used an action on Zipped (did he have a total of 6xp by the time he did this? if not it clears him) and with Sorian claiming the item he bought stopped poisoning its looking like he did in face protect Zipped.
So IMO it's Melon V Sorian for scum. Based purely on overly dwelling without looking at posts I'm currently on Sorian
- Sorian went from town reading Alexem in our chat to voting him pretty dang quickly
- I don't think Alexem gave up for no reason, he was likely being bussed
- I like Melon's flavour + role claims more than Sorians flavour + role claims
- I didn't think Alexem's role claim was that bad (it had some really nice matching flavour) but Sorian dismissed it instantly.
From the remaining evolutionary roles
- Sawneeks is town
- If Sorian is scum then muffin is town IMO

I didn’t really care about his flavor, I was dismissing his lie detector vs role detector “slip” I thought he was going to flip as a role cop. My flavor also makes complete sense to me but I’m still not going to claim tier 3 publicly so only you know that one.
It says I can hide, it does not define what a hide is, it’s one of the few roles that is vague in mafia

I'm not going to beat my head against the wall since at least Chuggs understands what I'm trying to say. This is the exact same situation as Muffin not realizing his night chat wasn't a night command and he didn't realize it was a day command until after he bought it. I have the same ability but I assumed correctly how it would work, he assumed incorrectly.
