Personally the day before with Sparks taking the full 48 hours killed me, and then realising we'd been playing for three weeks, and me also playing in the night phase too, so I was happy to just smash through a day in a couple of hours.

I mean at some point we have to stop giving Monkey the benefit of the doubt and realize that none of us are infallible players. How you felt about Monkey's survival chances are completely different from how she felt last day phase. If she genuinely thought she was going to get voted out, this was the perfect play. Monkey is never going to admit that's how she felt but we just can't ignore something so obvious as someone claiming red check and it ended up being a green check. As town, we'd be stupid not to vote her off for that.

Just be glad that Nat didn't give anyone a power that allowed everyone to talk at night. Not that I'm still bitter about that Fanto and Chugg.

That was my Monkey post for today

Monkey -
- got targeted night two for a kill but they never went back
- - Or got roleblock by Hawthorn?
- Scum didn't go back for the kill even though we've speculated they have a role cop and she'd almost certainly be a target
- - Only players with limited shot abilities have been scum so far
- The call out on Chuggs is either an insane read or based off some info we don't know (role copped him night one?)
- - Didn't expect Chuggs to open wolf and call out the second team, thought going all in on one scum would buy town points, by the time second scum team was found we'll have moved on?
- Natiko "doesn't like cops" but has two in one game in some way? Three if you believe scum has one as well. I wonder if Monkey thought Sparks had just messed up or misunderstood the alignment thing
- - Two Patriots called her out as potential scum and they were correct on Faddy
- Too many posts to have the energy to search for links / dodginess, classic scum tactics!
- Two abilities (Zeke and ATP) to also narrow down scum, lots of investigative roles on top of a cop?
- I wonder if Monkey moved off Sparks the last couple of days because she was worried the alignment thing might be true so doesn't want him flipping.

So I think town is Fate, Neki and Kalor maybe?

The Eki's don't feel scum. Really don't think Fate is now, but I can see that being some bastard nonsense. Kalor doesn't really make sense to be scum.

I feel certain that I prevented the kill N2 by jailing Monkey. She would be a great choice to submit the kill. Or ... I hope I did, I want to have been useful!

I would guess Kopite as the remaining Foxhound after Monkey, but it feels like maybe that's too obvious.

If it's not Kopite, it's definitely Neki IMO. Going after Monkey now doesn't give much town points, IMO, because it's at the point where her teammates would definitely bus her. And that would fit with the "one of the pairs must be mixed alignment" theory

Starting with the presumption that Monkey is scum...

Neki has to be town after this performance today. He’s making some solid points here. If Neki is scum, then that is top-tier bussing.

Now, I’m pretty sure that Kalor is town. Maybe some stray neutral? But I don’t think Kalor is part of Foxhound. Otherwise, Faddy’s play of aiming LP at Kalor gets kinda risky if town decides to lynch Kalor first between the two (which was on the table).

I’m leaning town on Reki too, for the same logic as Neki.

So, Fate and Kopite are top picks for a third or possibly fourth member of Foxhound?

That leaves Kopite, Neki, Ephi, and Monkey. Assume they vote Monkey and Fate dies. 5 left.

Kalors self watcher claim points to him being Town, because I don't think Foxhound would redirect LP onto one of their own, just to claim to have seen him.
Leos interactions with Monkey earlier felt genuine to me and Reki also feels townie so far.
If Fate is somehow Foxhound, then Town never had a chance.

Which leaves Neki to be the final Foxhound if there is a fourth one, but he also felt Townie with his interactions with Monkey the last couple of days.

I've been putting together ideas for a larger bastard game and it's helping me realize what a herculean task it is, you have my sympathy and admiration Natiko.

I haven't read any of his posts since D1 but I'm going to give Kopite a town read because this community always unfairly reads him as scum. He deserves better :P

Yeah, I’m thinking the same. Kopite step up his game this last few phases when Faddy died, and agree he seems like the most likely third FOXHOUND.

The game is still solvable, but town has to really put in some work. Maybe Ephi can open wolf next phase against the remaining scum, but that would only make sense if the Patriots can’t win together with FOXHOUND.

I remember back on Day 3 when Hawthorn was being pressured and made a read on Kopite. Monkey said something like why go for low hanging fruit, how about some real reads. It's a fairly reasonable suggestion but also subtly protects Kopite.

She probably did the same thing when we were scum together in MafiEra.

For me, unless I was convinced that we could win tonight I would have bussed Monkey right from the start. Like hit her with the bus and repeatedly drive over the body bussing. I don't think a teammate would be trying to protect her as much, even if you WIFOM it makes you too much of a target the following day.

I feel like Monkey just wanted to stall so she could figure out Ephi.

So I lied about gettin a red check on my wagon. I was just confident scum was using me for busywork and was on my wagon *cough* I was right it was faddy*cough*

In the banner there is a hidden three digit number (the start of the frequency). On Day 2 End and...another one around there that I forget are just two stray numbers. Had you sent those in as the frequency you would’ve been rewarded with a fairly inconsequential bonus (being added to the lovers chat, but not becoming a lover). Didn’t impact balance and was more or less a secret Easter egg. The idea actually came from Monkey as a joke when I first mentioned I was working on a crazy game with this theme hilariously enough, though I’m not sure she even remembers the comment at this point.
