thinking about this and cheshire's reaction to the item/vote removal is making me think town has a chance at winning despite everything. even if monkey lives she is still trying to solve the game and the other scum team will have to take an action against her at some point in order to win. with how many people out there are pretty town-cleared it's going to be an uphill battle for scum to get out of the PoE group.
that is unless there is a scum (not neutral) in the roleclaim/cleared pool that isnt getting scrutiny. but out of Ephi, EC, Jman, Cheshire, Zeke, LP, and Stan I find it unlikely. that leaves Neki, Maol, Neon, Hedin, and Haw. Unless town fumbles harder and doesnt focus on the PoE people this should be a close game but still a town win.

Mhmm. It's good to reevaluate since you can get into day phases that just turbo and lose town the game but also....it's good to see when you're going in circles.
I will say though that if someone requests you don't turbo so they can post something specific then don't turbo. When it's an amorphous call for 'more talking' then maaayyynbeee still turbo.
FMPOV this community does a lot of things like this that are "right" on paper. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it. In fact, I think most of these "right" things are actually optimal and should be practiced. I do think, though, that they're overemphasized. I think when you talk more about "This is how we can increase our EV by some nonzero amount that's probably negligible" than "This person is this alignment for these reasons", you give wolves something easy to talk about, you find wolves less quickly, and you just bore everyone to death.

Also fun fact: if the other scum team had targeted Monkey with the NK they would have recruited her. They didn't know this could happen so we don't know if they would have done it if told about it, but alas it wasn't meant to be I guess.r

The power worked that Monkey could target any player as much as she wanted, but her power would only protect androids, and it could only successfully protect each android in the game ONCE.
So she could have targeted herself every night, but if she got targeted (which she was by HP) by a killing action while doing so, she would have successfully protected herself and thus been told she couldn't target herself anymore.
Stan (yes he is for sure town, I should know since he's Vere and I), is told when he fails to protect someone because he's told they aren't a machine, and Monkey would be told when she successfully protected someone.

So my guess of my three is
The other one will be hard to find. It's not Zeke, so someone quiet and unassuming. I don't think it's EC. LP, possibly Hedin but doubt it. Maybe Neon - he was setting up for moves but it might just be how he plays. He was the one sticker in my town group. Maybe Cheshire? Cheshire I had doubts on but also so many "I am just a newbie" posts there were very finely crafted if she's mafia. But severe, severe avoidance and some really sketchy wording. If it's her I botched that for them near EoD lol whoops. LP was a big ? for me and could easily be scum with Maol but I just dunno. d1 looks weird if it's him. I really think Hedin is town from d2 entrance but also I wasn't so who knows lol.

That's funny because I started to scum read Neki a bit after the past three games. I townread him the first two games as well, but his strategy seems to have shifted subtlety this game. It may be just him trying to adjust to getting SR for his normal town behavior (like I do, LOL).

Towns in a good spot honestly, despite what's happening. There's a lot of town left so in theory if town get their act together they can beat scum.

I decided to Vote Monkey like 14 Hours before EOD but kept Vote on Hawthorn to Keep things as Close as possible to see the Most Player reactions.
Not that I trust Hawthorn it just seems safest to kill potential Even Mafia Day 4 When Day 3 it made way more sense to Eliminate Somebody else.
I think Town has sequence the game perfectly Following Day 1. (Chuggs didn't want to save himself so whatever Bye)

This is my best game in a while I think.
Like Day 3 at some point I was heavily Scum reading Monkey (cant remember why) But went out of my way to Save her knowing she Could only be Even Scum or Town and would not take a action that night and Town would kill her tomorrow regardless of what I do.
Getting C4 early was Huge. This was a super Cool tactical decision I was able to pull of and Look natural I think.
Then I went back to Townread Monkey after Stan's claim Day 4 before settling on slight Scum read on Monkey.
Unfortunately I had a little mini-breakdown over the Turbo thing (sorry)
In general though I think I did good job of Keeping my mind open Not tunneling and my "gambit" of going out of my way to save a Scum read was Clutch.
(I was super scared people would figure out how dishonest I was about my intentions and scum read me for it very stressful)

I took to heart your messages from star trek about calming down the Role Gambits and mainly tried to Practice Social Gambits.
I did not lie once about my role. I did lie often about my intentions and kept my reads vague (they were internally inconsistent as I was open to all possibilities and was Mr. Anti Tunnel but sometimes not as much as I let on)
I think I hopefully did more to help Town than Hurt being the Constant Devils Advocate/ Forcing Wagons just to see what happens.
Also I played more passively and tried to be a supportive Tool for other players to get there agenda through
