Right, without discussing either of the two new flips or really giving much except for a passing "id lynch there" to the override.
Blarg voted everyone and almost no one voted him. Kyan was pretty widely townread.
You've been on the block twice. CCS train happened literally as you started pulling in votes and then a goddamn override saved you the next day. No, I want you flipped. When you're scum, I want monkey turbo'd as well. Then we have inactives to talk about.
If you're town, you might want to start spinning your wheels proving it because I guarantee you I'm not getting lynched today.
They were ordinary Town, what else is there to say
You mean Topo and. . who? You want me to post the vote count again? I even have a better royal-style count tracking cancelled votes...
No one else voted Blarg yesterday. Kyan voted him d1 and cancelled.
You realize votes aren't the be all end all right? You can throw shade at a person to see how likely you'd be to garner votes. Yes, I mean Topo as the big one but clearly there was enough mind share for monkey to jump and override
Faddy said he didn't agree with Blarg that Kark is scum. You realize votes aren't the be all end all right? You can throw shade at a person to see how likely you'd be to garner votes. Yes, I mean Topo as the big one but clearly there was enough mind share for monkey to jump and override
Faddy said he didn't agree with Blarg that Kark is scum.
Kark and monkey said Blarg should settle on a vote.
That is the extent of blarg "shade" minus Topo. No one was else was suggesting or even talking about lynching Blarg.
Riveting conversation. Let's talk about the votes on Kyan now. Literally no one the entire game. Did he catch some shade? A bit, but he was widely town read. Guys, this game isn't long. It's easy to check things.
Scum team couldn't save Sorian because Crimson is also scum and the closest thing to another train was nin, who Monkey already had her vote on
You tell me, what am i trying to hide that will be unveiled by kyan discussion? Why would we talk about votes on Kyan? The conversation on Kyan is why he would be killed. I'm aware that's a simpler answer but you don't seem to care to comment on them unless being forced to.
You tell me, what am i trying to hide that will be unveiled by kyan discussion?
He was killed because generally town read, active, with few strings tied to him since he was never voted for and only voted three times in two days. That's it as far as I can tell.
You come out swinging at me not even knowing the fucking vote results and now you want to harp about avoiding conversation when you've offered nothing? Like, what are you bringing to the table right now, dude?
So why no vote yesterday?
town guv was override. Eating with fam atm but will post more in a bit. Was gonna go for Sorian but Blarg's votes were baiting something and didn't know if he was trying to control narrative or bait scum. Decided to flip him to get the answer. Shakes up the game, too, I hope, which we needed in a bad way. We need to figure what to do with Crimson and Bronx too if they don't turn up today.
Back later.
I thought the Faddy thing was suspicious too but nothing else from Faddy has sparked any scum notions for me, particularly. After talking to CCS I think of the Faddy vote as like the more productive version of a No Lynch. Am on board with all your would-lynches except Nomadic. I don't think that one would be terribly productive today and I don't think he's scum.
Right, without discussing either of the two new flips or really giving much except for a passing "id lynch there" to the override.
Regarding these, kyan was a pretty safe bet. Widely townread and no one was really pushing for his lynch. Not much to discern there.
Blarg has the two items
1) Monkey choosing Blarg (covered above, and she's also responded)
2) El Topo's vote on Blarg (which I've discussed a bit)
What's your feelings on Topo, Sorian?
to be clear, I wouldn't have brought up a scum override if the decision to take out Blarg over Sorian had actually made any sense to me whatsoever
obviously I wasn't around for the last phase so it may have made more sense in that context. I initially read through the thread chronologically, and I mentally had Blarg indexed as "lean town" before I got around to the flip. nonetheless, he mostly just read like Blarg screwing around to me.

I voted for Blarg because I didn't agree with his strategy and thoughts. I felt that his proposal to lock us down to three suspects, leaving Faddy out of the group because he cast the first vote, was unreasonable and problematic. Furthermore I wasn't sold on the two main suspects, I even asked for reasons, but no one bothered to answer. Casting a late, possibly deciding vote on a candidate that I had not spoken much for or against, that I had not looked into, seemed dishonest and harmful.
I dont feel either crimson nor el topo. And i am pretty sure about me. Sorian i love you man but this personal bs is just low tier. Vote: Sorian
Did you scum read Sorian here?
can we get more detail on all three of these reads.
Someone please talk.
2. Blargonaut [m] - This is a weird Blarg but strikes me as town. Would not lynch today.
Ok, i am here, everyone relax
To respond to your question, yes i scum read him from day 2. i wanted to give him a chance this time around, thats why i did not vote for him on day one since it would have just looked like antipical nin move „going after sorian once again“. On day 2 however it was a whole nother show. I am probably going to vote for him today even though there is the monkey incident which i will ignore.
What is the point? Tell us oh highly rated Sorian.
Up to now I have not really gotten into anyone's face yet. How about we go into detail now Sorian?
Sure.
Sorian seems like the usual guy who keeps talking but points out stuff that could be noteworthy, but is so I na way that seems condescending
Kawl, ccs or sorian. Tough choice
Outside of this safe space I would probably go for either Nomadic and or Hey monkey.
There is nothing leading up to that override that suggests Blarg was a real target. It was a defensive move.
This was monkey's last read of Blarg yesterday:
17. Sorian [m] - So scummy (in a Sorian way) that it almost seems too obvious. Watching him. Would possibly lynch today.
Would you flip Monkey before Sorian?
Want me to translate it to you?You don't like his condescending attitude.
That's true and I am sorry for that. But beside of that there is not much I can do other than trying to explain myself.Day 1 choices. You chose CCS in the end. Don't know why it's a tough choice cause you didn't offer much views on each person.
would you vote out monkey today, Kark?
Come on guys, don't let yourselves get talked into this "that would be too obvious" trap. It's pretty clear that monkey used that command to save Sorian from getting lynched. There's no other way to interpret that.
Scum team couldn't save Sorian because Crimson is also scum and the closest thing to another train was nin, who Monkey already had her vote on
I am guessing we have two more scum.
Ask those questions when the game is finished.
No. We need to deal with those questions now. We already flipped a scum player with a lynch bomb so it is only right we consider game balance when deciding if heymonkey is town or not.
We don't have enough information to make that call.No. We need to deal with those questions now. We already flipped a scum player with a lynch bomb so it is only right we consider game balance when deciding if heymonkey is town or not.
I agree here. Kark has been very singleminded this game and while feps has as well, feps seems to be more organic about it, reacting; Kark's is more calculated, focusing on convenient targets. I have some kinda feeling too about Kark and Sorian using LB2 repeatedly to explain each others' behavior. I feel like that's dropped off radar a bit and perhaps it should not, as it was very odd.I trust fep more than Kark
I don't want to beat a dead Blarg (sorry, friend), but those vote switches after his push-push-push of nothing outside of one narrow angle on the CCS lynch looked suspect and it was easy to verify one way or another. So I did. And to whomever it was (sorry, I don't have it in my quotes) who said I was against killing an active player, that's true. And it's something I considered before pulling the trigger. But Blarg was in a tunnel and even telling others not to step outside the tunnel.Think it's just a case of Town monkey making a not-so-good decision on shooting on a day lynch.
As cabot said, that was before the flurry near the end. I was townreading Blarg until the last bit and then I began to question heavily. This was monkey's last read of Blarg yesterday:
No. I get how you see this, but you're wrong. It's that simple. If you truly think that's the case, flip me first. That SHOULD be your number one concern then, shouldn't it? If you think I'm a scum override trying to save people? You'll get there regardless if you flip me then Sorian or me then Crimson or me than any combination of that team above. What matters is that Monkey used an override a vote to save a player. Her role is my #2 concern at the moment. The #1 concern is the player she saved. That's all we need to act on today.
I do agree here. I think we have so many inactives or low-actives that it's incredibly difficult to get an eye on the overall game structure at the moment. We don't have enough information to make that call.
It might seem implausible for scum to have all these powers together, but town may be packing quite a bit of tools themselves.
We also have to consider that the game may be plain unbalanced in scum's favour, or that town doesn't have the proper coordination to make use of the tools they've got.
I think thinking in teams is a good path and from an outside perspective, Kawl/Crimson/Sorian/me makes sense. It also makes me wonder if there is scum within the other inactives, how do we construct those possible teams? What do those other possibilities start to look like if it's people who are more erratic?

You said yourself, you used up your power. Whatever you are, you're most likely inert now.
Sorian has been suspicious, with or without your help. Flip him, and I know where to go next. Flip you, and we simply confirmed the obvious.

he code and shit on this forum is WEIRD.
So you flip Sorian and if he's scum, then you flip me and... what next?
Where does that take you? (interesting question here is maybe Sorian is not scum and then we're all gonna run around for a second yelling OMG, maybe. but that seems unlikely). Wwhat I'm really saying here is that you seem 100% convinced the only explanation is that I was protecting Sorian and maybe you should back off that a little. You can be pretty sure you understand my motivations and not tunnel. Right now you're at the mouth of a tunnel. And you're wrong about this part of it. Leave room for doubt.
Kark is it plausible that scum monkey overrode town Sorian to lead to Sorian's Lynch and convinces people she's town
Has anything Sorian said today sounded like someone losing their shit about getting framed?
That would require Sorian to scumread monkeyHas anything Sorian said today sounded like someone losing their shit about getting framed?
That would require Sorian to scumread monkey
The fact that Sorian has lowkey defended me throughout the game is one of my personal reasons to suspect him. Maybe it's because I'm just coming off Dark Souls and have post-Sawneeks distress syndrome, but every time Sorian says something in my favor, I flinch a little. That would require Sorian to scumread monkey
On Day 1, Kawl got enough votes on him for mafia to start getting concerned. The problem is that as an inactive, he wasn't gonna defend himself. They needed to push the vote themselves.
At a critical juncture, Sorian and Kawl were tied as frontrunners with 3 votes each. An out for their mafia patner presented itself. Lynch Sorian, a player who would likely be a big problem for a mafia already misfiring with Kawl's inactivity.
But no, instead the vote goes to CCS, who had one vote at the time.
It looked like two mafia were up for a lynch, and CCS was the bystander who ended up getting it.
Alternate theory, Kawl was in the lead and scum tried to set up Sorian because several players (including me) had shown a willingness to lynch Sorian on day 1.
Ok, i am here, everyone relax

I think I'm on the same page as Cabot and feps ATM
Sorian > Topo as far as lynch targets, nin and Faddy don't stand out
Scum NKd two people who voted Kawl D1 iirc? Don't think that's coincidence - feels like Sorian's bus spin is bs. Imo we would do better to lynch in people who voted CCS than to sniff out bussers
Ask those questions when the game is finished.
Which isn't gonna happen if they're both scum
then why didn't they go through with it?
Dusk Soldier hasn't been flipped scum though
Kawl (6)
heymonkey
Blargonaut
squidyj
Dusk Soldier
BiscuitFreak69
CCS
kyanrute
Sorian, who is scum between monkey, Dusk, and me
You're not being clear on why Sorian as scum doesn't hold up to scrutiny
Look at the facts. Scum would need to lose 2 votes in a row, they would need to lose the 2nd vote with only 4 votes on Sorian. We would also need to believe that the plethora of confirmed townies on the day 1 lynch there is very little overlap on the player base voting out Sorian on day 2.
I think we can rule out any day 2 bussers since scum already dropped a player, which pretty much greenchecks Dusk in a Scum Sorian situation.
I can't see any way this holds up.
You're still not making any sense.
Alternate theory, Kawl was in the lead and scum tried to set up Sorian because several players (including me) had shown a willingness to lynch Sorian on day 1.
then why didn't they go through with it?
Because Topo brought CCS to the table and that caused the voting base to splinter even further. Factor in anyone being afk or just bad communication and suddenly you have too few votes when spread to the wind.
please bold the parts you don't understand.

Terrabyte is replacing CrimsonFist
Ty4on is replacing Bronx-Man
I kept my vote on Crimson because that is who we should have lynched.
Ty4on is replacing Bronx-Man
I voted Sorian.
How is that an answer? Did you explain yourself in the thread yesterday about why we should lynch Crimson? Because right now I see a player who made a random vote on D1 that got CCS to soft claim and one who almost got Crimson lynched for no reason other than claiming a day later he was "who we should have lynched".
