It was an honest question on your stance on Alpha, not an evil plan to influence a narrative. It's gonna take more than you chasing weird theories (which is funny given that you suggested just now that theorizing what happened to the missed kills was an experiment in frustration but imagining a scenario where Tommy isn't our Doctor/defensive role isn't) for me to scumread you. I can't think of many scenarios in which you and Rita aren't both scum partners, and I still townread Rita.

Do you townread Rita?

Yes, though I've been debating with myself a lot on if I only feel that way because I was forced into this gossip chat that I didn't get to choose and I want the full utility of it. Aside from her very chaotic start to the game, she has very much settled into a lot of deep dives and note taking which is a town tell more then most. If anything, I don't like her claimed role or what possessed her to choose Pink but that's really it.

I don't think that at the moment, what I said is I can't picture a scenario where you're scum and Rita isn't (so yeah, the gossip chat would be faked obviously)

What bothers me most about Zack and Alpha 5 right now are their day 3 actions. I starting reading into this because Tommy mentioned Alpha 5's Day 3 vote on Zordon in the previous day phase.

Zack led the train against Zordon initially, only to jump off about four hours before the hammer.

Alpha 5 jumped onto the Zordon lynch near the end of the day phase, around six or seven hours before the hammer and before Black Ranger had become a lynch target in terms of votes. He hung onto that vote until right before Trini hammered Black, near the end of the day phase.

I'm not leaning towards both of these two being scum (it'd be an extremely risky play to both bus their teammate on day 3, and then turn around and bus each other when they are so desperately in need of mislynchs) but I'm having difficulty gauging the relative level of "townieness" to "scumminess" of their actions in Day 3.

What about vice versa? Do you see a scenario of Rita scum and I’m not?

I’m also confused on why I could be scum but Rita couldn’t be town? As people have pointed out, gossip could be a scum power even if it would be very undermined for what we’ve seen so far.

When we had that convo about gossip chats with scum people, they almost always end up as part of the gossip chat by chance (they got it as an item, or there was something more to it), so I think I'm justified in letting it color my perception of you towards town. As for Rita, sure, but I townread them for how hard they pushed for a Zordon lynch.

Apologizes if I wasn't being very clear, I'm having a bit of mind fog right now.

I guess to put it another way; I'm looking at the Day 3 Zordon votes to see if there might potentially be scum on there, and these two are the votes/unvotes that bother me the most right now.

Obviously they're not both scum, but like... how do you see Alpha 5's vote and unvote there? Do you read it as more town actions or scum actions? And if town, how do you feel about Zack's votes/unvotes?

I don't think scum Zack would have pushed for Zordon's lynch the way Zack did. He had to know he'd energize my view of Zordon towards scum territory. He wasn't justifying a bus vote against Z, that was a more of a rallying cry, or at least that's how I read it since it relied so much on my and Zordon's past interactions.

Zack seems to have gone for Alpha on D5 and has a vote there today as well though so either this is some ballsy scum move to distance themselves or they’re not scummates.

I like Alpha’s posting style and nothing got my attention as potentially scummy. He’s clear on that end. I find that the strongest argument against him is his bad vote record, besides his push for Zordon on D3. What gets me is his quick vote for Green after rac claimed. I’m repeating myself, but I believe scum would’t abandon their strongman like that right after a Celebrity got revealed.

Even so, considering how many players joined his wagon yesterday, his lynch continues to be high info.

Well, Zordon’s wagon had deflated when Alpha switched to Black. Sitting on his vote for Zordon would be weird considering that, so the choice was between you and Black and he choose Black for the lynch.

If that was a bus vote, I think it’s easy to put your feet down and say you’ll stick with the vote, even if it’s useless, to get some credits later after your scum mate flips.

Zack’s unvote reads to me like a careful town, unsure if he’s actually right or if he just gave an opening for scum to move in for the mislynch.

I was looking back at Zack's votes as a whole, and to be honest his entire vote history is a little bit sketchy.

Day 1: Zack followed me onto Finster, and left his vote there until day end.

Day 2: Defended Jason pretty heavily, but left his vote on Trini (who ended the day with two votes) as a "symbolic gesture".

Day 3: Created the big push for voting for Zordon, but backed off after about 100 posts on the basis that he didn't trust the people following him on that vote, just as the vote was becoming big. Instead, he helped make the Black Ranger into a viable lynch.

Day 4: Put on a blargesque rock concert show of voting for Zordon, while sneaking in unexplained votes on me. Ends the day without a vote.

Day 5: Votes for me, but makes sure to leave in wiggle room in his post that he thought the Yellow Ranger was also a good lynch target.

I townread Zack for a while but my doubt in him as slowly been increasing. He made some lengthy posts at what I remember being a slow time and I feel like that earned him the trust of a lot of players. He's still around but I feel like he's been getting less prominent.

I have strongly town read Zack in the past, but I find that trust has been erroding. Sure, part of that is certainly because he is barking up the wrong tree with me, but a good chunk of it is due to a lack of conviction that is coming across in his votes.

For both Zordon on Day 3, and the Yellow Ranger on Day 5, Zack put in the effort to give detailed arguments as to why these players were scum. Both times he won over other players, including me, with those arguments. But both times, he ended up moving his vote to a completely different target whom he didn't put in a tenth of the effort to justify voting for.

It reeks of a player whose actual conviction behind his votes doesn't match up to the effort his is trying to show. Zack types up those detailed arguments, but doesn't actually believe the stuff he wrote.

Zack's reasons for voting you over Yellow Ranger are pretty consistent with what Billy expressed in the gossip chat, not to mention there was a buildup (that he himself acknowledged) to his eventual vote on you it looks like.

My problem wasn’t with Alpha commenting on Zack, that’s completely normal. It’s the fact that this was the first time he expressed doubts about Zack after sheeping his vote two other days (Zordon and Yellow) like he admitted in his follow up post.

Hold on, why would Zack's opinion necessarily be considtant with Billy's? It feels like that is a somewhat strange association to make. And since I am not privy to your gossip chat, what were those reasons.

You know, I got this impression when I was going over Zack's votes, but you have a tendency to just follow other people. On Day 3, you made the same vote as Zack just posts after both times he voted. I don't really think you are scum, but you do have a habit of relying heavily on other people's opinions.

I'm saying I'm seeing a logical progression in how Zack arrived at that vote, as he expressed similar sentiments to what Billy described that gave me doubt.

Zordon on Day 3 for Zack is one thing, but I'm not scum reading his move to Yellow Ranger.

I just want you to actually lay out what those arguments are rather than assure me that they exist. There has been a distinct lack in presenting logical arguments for the vote for me today.

Can someone actually name some reasons to lynch me today? The three votes on me currently have zero reasons between them, most people who voted me yesterday did so late in the day and few specified specific reasons, and what few reasons the White Ranger gave seemed to be based on some misunderstandings that I thought we had cleared up.

It feels like the entire vote push for me is built on nothing but momentum driven by vague suspicions that people haven't taken the time to put into words yet.
Don't you think that is a tad reductive? The other two reasons I stated for choosing to vote you over Yellow Ranger were your refusal to take a solid stance over Jason and that I couldn't townread your Zordon vote when you hadn't mentioned any suspicions about him before and had nothing more to say about Zack's reasoning other than just agreeing with it. To me your explanation for not voting Black Ranger isn't too flash either way; its either a lie with you covering up a mistake, or otherwise you were into some pretty top-tier hedging on day 2 by having expressed almost no feelings about all the possible lynch candidates beyond "I don't mind seeing them lynched".

Yeah that whole string of votes and unvotes was highly infuriating. Especially in light of a cop red check.

Lemme re-read over Zack day 4.
He ended conveniently without a vote on Zordon
Wait, is it not clear that he was just bored at the lack of activity? Surely votes on day 4 should be NAI, as soon as the red check on Zordon came he had to be lynched and his defence didn't do him any favours there.

At this point we surely all concede that the remaining scum must have been going in on some serious bussing right? I'm thinking there's probably scum between Bulk, Zack and Alpha 5.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be reductive. Honestly, I appreciate that you've actually laid your reasons out like this. It is pretty difficult to defend myself when the arguments against me are spread out across 30 pages and no one has been bothering to even explain their reasoning half of the time. As a result, I honestly wasn't able to follow your entire train of thought, and for that, I apologize.

Unfortunately for me, there isn't really anything more I can say on those two reasons you have brought up. I feel that I have been consistant and open about my reasons for things, but there really isn't anyway for me to definitively prove that.

And yes I agree that at least one bus attempt had to happen on either Jason or Zordon. It's just a matter of where.

Zack is a real contender, he's been background noise for today and has slid right into that Alpha vote without much more commentary on anything.
I'm not background noise - I don't play on weekends. I just sit on my rocking chair and watch over the lawn.

I made the thread look at Zordon. You and someone else (maybe Blue?) had already voiced suspicion of Zordon, but it was only in terms of "maybe they're scum". I was the first (and only?) to make a consistent case with actual arguments against Zordon, by rereading the entire game at that point and bringing up their weird insistence on pressuring people voting for Jason on D1.

You'd think that if I were scum and had put that much work into a bus, I'd at least go all the way to EoD with my vote instead of stepping back and trying to look elsewhere as well.

Alpha, on the other hand, simply nodded their head at my posts and voted Zordon.

It shouldn't be hard to figure out which one of us was the bus.

He ended conveniently without a vote on Zordon
Ah, yes, the world-famous convenient scum move of not voting a red-checked teammate that's sure to get lynched. That sure is a thing that happens.

I unvoted because my vote was putting us one vote away from hammer at a point in which at least one player hadn't checked in to the game in that phase yet (White).

If I'd left my vote there you could've just as easily said that I was pulling us closer to hammer because I wanted to shut down any possible conversation, so whatever.

I'm not about to feel bad for not putting in D3 amounts of effort every day when no one else is doing anything close to that. It took me over 5 hours of making notes to write those posts. I didn't reread anything on D4 because we had a red-check, and I went through a lot of stuff on D5 as well.

If you wanna go ahead and scumread me because I'm "getting less prominent", go ahead. It's not really something I can defend myself from. But I certainly wouldn't call that scum hunting either.

Vote: Alpha 5

This post really bothered me back when I first saw it, due to the choice of words used in it.

I have strongly town read Zack in the past, but I find that trust has been erroding. Sure, part of that is certainly because he is barking up the wrong tree with me, but a good chunk of it is due to a lack of conviction that is coming across in his votes.

The bolded doesn't really say a lot in terms of actual content. It's a combination of poorly explained weasel words and (in the case of "Barking up the wrong tree with me") a stealth OMG YOU SUCK! The actual examples in the second paragraph are kinda bogus too. Zack himself refuted his reasons for the Zordon vote on Day 3 in a way I found satisfactory, and I already feel that his Alpha 5 vote was well explained in his posts leading up to it.

Put simply, I feel more confident voting here now.

That being said, I'd like to hear more on Zack about Skull.

I think I agree that there are times when Alpha does only seem to pop up to defend themselves so that Zack post does reek of deflecting.

With regards to White: I also don’t think writing off an entire day of votes because we caught someone on a red check that day is productive. Surely it’s still worth looking at D4 activity.

I was looking back at Zack's votes as a whole, and to be honest his entire vote history is a little bit sketchy.
Thanks, person who seemed agreed with everything I said until I started voting for you.

Day 1: Zack followed me onto Finster, and left his vote there until day end.
Lie. Don't make it seem like I merely piggybacked your "I don't like your day start vote" vote against Finster when I had completely separate reasons for voting for them.

I pressured Finster for being wishy-washy and making useless comments for a long time (starts from around #194). Shortly thereafter, you said I was "making some decent points" (#347).

Your alleged suspicion of Finster started because you were splitting hairs over the random votes at day start, singling out Finster's and confirmed townie-rac's for arbitrary reasons (#103). Then you mentioned scumreading Finster (#614) among a group that also included Billy, rac, and a green-checked player, but didn't give any reasons for it other than the day start thing. Then you agreed with Zordon (hey-oh) in that other players needed scrutiny (at a point in which Jason was under the heavist scrutiny), and mentioned wanting to switch your vote to Finster (#621), again without expanding on it. And then you finally voted against Finster (#629), whom you described as your "strongest scum read".

Day 2: Defended Jason pretty heavily, but left his vote on Trini (who ended the day with two votes) as a "symbolic gesture".
Lie. I never "defended Jason", much less "defended Jason pretty heavily". I'd link you to a post that proves my point here, but I can't, because there is no post in which I'm talking about Jason in a positive light at any point in that phase.

If anything, you should fault me for not looking properly at Jason. I spent my D2 focused on my suspicions of Trini (#1159, #1175). I was against the Jason lynch because my main suspects were the ones pushing that train (#1556), but not because I was defending them. Regarding Jason themselves, I literally said I didn't mind that lynch, but was bothered by it because it seemed unopposed (#1276).

D2 is clearly my worst day (it's also Kimberly's and Rita's), and you could've just played it straight with your criticisms of it, but you didn't. You're misrepresenting what I actually did during that phase by claiming I "defended Jason pretty heavily". Hell, I would've probably let this pass if you had just said "defended Jason" without the "pretty heavily" part, but your wording really shows your intent.

Day 3: Created the big push for voting for Zordon, but backed off after about 100 posts on the basis that he didn't trust the people following him on that vote, just as the vote was becoming big. Instead, he helped make the Black Ranger into a viable lynch.
I backed off of the Zordon vote at that point because I'd put it down tentatively after rereading D1, but four people I was scumreading at that point had already followed me before I had the opportunity to reread D2, as I said I would (#1962).

These are the players that followed me against Zordon and that made me wary, and the respective posts on why I suspected them at that point in the game: Rita (#1701), Black (#1861), you (#1159), Green (#1863). You may not like the fact that I backed off of Zordon, but after being followed by those players, from my (well-documented) perspective, it felt like the right move.

After that, I went back to reread D2. If I came out with a worse or similar impression of Zordon during that phase, I'd simply have accused them again and put my vote back down. But I came out of D2 with a better impression of them (#2030), and instead decided to go for someone who had looked bad on both D1 and D2 (#1861, #2061). My case against Black was so reasonable that even Black themselves agreed that one of its main points made them look really bad (#2064).

Day 4: Put on a blargesque rock concert show of voting for Zordon, while sneaking in unexplained votes on me. Ends the day without a vote.
I already had my eyes on you at that point. Regarding the way I ended up without a vote, I already explained myself to Kimberly.

Day 5: Votes for me, but makes sure to leave in wiggle room in his post that he thought the Yellow Ranger was also a good lynch target.
Lie. I'd raised those points against Yellow early on in the phase, but I made it very clear that I'd lost interest in that lynch throughout the phase, even though I missed the biggest part of the final day and was in a hurry close to EoD.

I had already made note of the post that ended up pushing me away from wanting to lynch Yellow in the very same post in which I made my case against them (#2576). Later, I brought it up again, explaining why I was losing interest in that lynch (#2705). Afterwards, my vote against you was literally accompanied by a line in which I defended Yellow against people who were accusing them of being too defensive (#2731). After some other votes moved around, I even came back and made it very clear that I was not interested in moving my vote away from you (#2769).

I was so clear in my disinterest at the Yellow lynch that you even acknowledged it yourself that you understood why I was backing off of Yellow! (#2741) How can you claim that I left "wiggle room" in my vote with a straight face after that?
I have strongly town read Zack in the past, but I find that trust has been erroding. Sure, part of that is certainly because he is barking up the wrong tree with me, but a good chunk of it is due to a lack of conviction that is coming across in his votes.

For both Zordon on Day 3, and the Yellow Ranger on Day 5, Zack put in the effort to give detailed arguments as to why these players were scum. Both times he won over other players, including me, with those arguments. But both times, he ended up moving his vote to a completely different target whom he didn't put in a tenth of the effort to justify voting for.
More lies.

On D3, I wrote a lot of stuff about Black (#1861, #2061). I put in exactly the same amount of effort rereading them than I did rereading Zordon.

On D5, uh: I never voted for Yellow during that phase. The fact that you're criticizing my "lack of conviction" in a vote I never made is very funny.

But I'll go into it anyway: I focused on deciding between voting for you or Yellow over the way you two unvoted off of Finster and voted Goldar on D1. I reread Yellow because I'd overlooked some of their stuff, but I already had you in my mind since earlier, as those D4 votes I sneaked in against you prove. I didn't have the time during that phase to actually write a lot of stuff up, but I was debating between the two of you the entire time.

It reeks of a player whose actual conviction behind his votes doesn't match up to the effort his is trying to show. Zack types up those detailed arguments, but doesn't actually believe the stuff he wrote.
Since I don't know anything for sure, I have very good reason to second-guess even my own arguments. I was right about Zordon, but one phase before I could find that out I learned that I was wrong about Black. At the end of the day, I'm mostly spit-balling here, and I will gladly go back and reconsider stuff that I wrote before. I see that as a clear example of "wanting to figure things out", and it's something that makes me townread other players when I see it in their posts.

I can say, though, that I strongly believe you're:
1 - Reaching;
2 - Scum;
3 - Going to have a really bad time if trying to get town to mislynch me is your only way out of getting caught.

Of course I'm patronizing. Again: I can't stress enough how old I am.

That being said, I'd like to hear more on Zack about Skull.
I'm done defending myself. There was a lot to go through, though. Tomorrow morning I'll work on a reread to pick up the pieces and make an actual case against Alpha and Skull.

Seems we are defaulting on Alpha’s lynch, although I guess this wagon had more effort than last phase. It’s weird though that no counter pushes were made. I mean, even if we’re going by the consensus of 2 scum remaining, they can’t really control the vote, but they can at least try to present a new lead to misdirect. Alpha’s mild push on Zack can’t be it..

But anyway, did a quick read on Alpha’s D2 and yeah, his vote for Red is actually the scummiest. He admitted before that he’d be interested in a Red Ranger swing vote if the circumstances lead to it, and indeed he votes right after the wagon becomes feasible. In contrast with the other quick votes from Rita, Zack and Black, it’s apparent that he feels the need to justify the vote, despite already arguing for a Red Ranger lynch throughout the phase. Might be playstyle, but in this game and at this point it’s hard to know for sure.

Still not confident at all. His quick vote for Green following this really gets me, but maybe I’m thinking harder about this than scum..

After Zack's post I'm thinking it'll take something pretty big to change my mind off of an Alpha 5 lynch. I've run through everything a few times now and I'm not seeing anything that'd blow it open and save Alpha 5. We're running into problems if Alpha 5 flips town, but if we are heading for that bridge I'd rather cross it tomorrow than get all caught up in it tonight.

White Ranger

I think I agree that there are times when Alpha does only seem to pop up to defend themselves so that Zack post does reek of deflecting.

With regards to White: I also don’t think writing off an entire day of votes because we caught someone on a red check that day is productive. Surely it’s still worth looking at D4 activity.
If you reckon there's something to be found there then that is great, I'd rather be wrong on this because it'd open up some more info for us. What I'm saying is that I think anything brought up out of day 4 is going to get argued down to NAI because everyone knew that Zordon had to and should be lynched once the red check dropped.

I'll be certainly looking for another case than Alpha. I've made time this evening and I will be here at lease last 3 hours.

In all honesty I don't have a clue at the moment. I think I'll be looking at people like Skull, Bulk and Blue. Sure there are things wrong with others. But town makes more mistakes than scum.

I know I said there probably is scum on the red lynch train, but what are we going to do if Alpha flips town?

It seems to me that if Alpha does flip town then come tomorrow most of us will be down to 3 or 4 people they think could be suspicious. I figure at that point with scum hiding amoung a few select people, its likely that many of us will be diving deep for reads and we'll see just how aligned our suspicions really are.

If you take the opposite assumption then you get another line of thought; Alpha 5 had a close call yesterday, suspicion follows him into the next day with prominent players dropping early votes on him. While Alpha 5 does fight back, where do you go once Zack drops that post? Do you try to save him or concede and begin planning for further days?

Conversely, that's what led to Jason almost being saved.

Yet I agree with Billy. I'm starting the digging back now already. As I said earlier, my problem with scum Alpha is his day 3. At this moment, I think we'll find scum in the more consistent players.

Bulk was tunneling on Jason pretty hard, and you'd say that scum wouldn't bus their 3 shot strongman that early. But, was there any saving of Jason? I'm going to look into that. Aswell as Skull and Blue Ranger.

The "this is too easy" way of thinking is WIFOMy, IMO. If there's 2 scum left (that's what we're going with right?) then they don't have that much power and they'll be on the defensive. If Alpha is scum and universally scumread I don't see their partner risking their neck to mount a counter-offensive. I think it more likely that their partner would either bus them or stay on the sidelines.

I do think this tells us town has few leads though which is worrying, and if Alpha is town then this vote will tell us very little and scum will be sitting comfortable somewhere watching things unfold.

This is pretty close to what I was thinking in my last post, but add the fact that we don’t have other real leads right now. I feel like a vote counter push is impossible for scum, but what about some reads or something? Feels like the only thing we got was Alpha on Zack which wouldn’t go anywhere.

How much longer can you concede though? Conventional game is going to have only 2 scum left, maybe 3 if there is something weird going on but this game seems pretty vanilla. I wouldn’t expect the other member to put themselves protecting him but he’s not even putting in much of a fight.

I mean if someone is willing to drop a premature turbo and out themselves as a complete bastard unworthy of any trust then that is their call to make.

Sketch vote aside, I don’t think scum has ever been the one to premature turbo, at least not purposely, they’re always mortified of putting themselves on that spotlight.

I’d love it if Alpha is scum, this is all so much easier and White’s vote looks hilariously like the scummate making sure they’re in on that action.

I don’t think he is though, I think this is just an easy snowball that continued from yesterday’s lynch and the real issue is, I don’t think many are willing to adapt their thinking until they see Alpha’s flip which is why there isn’t much more discussion.

Well, if you all feel like I've already said enough about Alpha, then I'll just keep this concise.

My case against Skull isn't the most compelling, but I feel strongly about it enough to at least want to throw it out there - especially considering the way Skull's been overlooked by most (competently, if I'm right), and because an Alpha flip will give us a better perspective of it.

I first started getting weirded out by Skull when rereading stuff on early D5. The main reason for it was, funnily enough, the absolutely nonsensical Jason D1 vote on them (#101).
After following Mini Mafia IV, one of the big things I've been on the lookout for is a very focused D1 bus - and that's what the Skull push against Jason made me think of. Not because Skull didn't sell it well enough, but because Jason's initial vote itself was so fucking bad that it felt forced, fabricated. This is me presuming some amount of skill on scum's part, yes - but not a whole lot of it. That vote was basically the first actual thing Jason did in the game, at a point in which players were basically just throwing random D1 start votes at each other, and it ended up killing them. That's just straight-up bizarre in my eyes.

With that in mind, combined with my belief that Alpha was scum, I decided to watch the way scum behaved. I asked them what was on their mind (while also mentioning Blue in the same post as to not weird them out, #2669), and waited to see where they'd vote. At that point, I was already feeling bad about the Yellow lynch, which seemed like the likelier outcome of that phase. I expected that scum would avoid that lynch. Skull ended up voting for White - a train that never really got any real traction.

In the same post, they said they were townreading Yellow, and that they didn't want to vote for Alpha (#2680).

After that, Yellow and Alpha ended up becoming the leading trains. Skull spent the time close to EoD active in the thread, but not really taking a stance between those two, and instead making innocuous posts like this:
Wait what? Hadn't realized we were so close to day end. What a mess.
In the end, they ended up voting Alpha (#2784) against their earlier reads and only after Yellow had already been hammered.

Skull could argue that, between Alpha and Yellow, they felt more comfortable with the Alpha lynch.
But the thing is: why would they feel the need to take a stance between two lynch trains they didn't agree with after the hammer hit?

If you're a townie in that situation, you just sit back on your White vote, which you actually feel strongly about, and watch what happens. Especially if you're someone who's been laying low and mostly townread the entire time - you have nothing to prove. Why go for that vote - one that meant nothing to the actual results?

If you're scum in that situation, though, you don't want to be one of the few who sit out of the main lynch trains on D5. You don't wanna lynch your scummate either, though - and it was a very close race. Not a comfortable situation to be in.

If Alpha does flip scum, Skull will start looking very bad because of that vote.

Some other notes:

- On D1 Skull first mentioned townreading Goldar for their aggressiveness (#463, #493), but close to EoD, they voted Goldar (and off of Jason) for being "inconsistent" (#802), despite the fact that Goldar's aggressiveness was consistent throughout the entire phase.
- On multiple occasions they drew attention to their D1 vote on Jason unrequested (#911, #976, #1914).
- Early on D3, they switched focus to Rita (#1655) and, strangely, to Bulk (#1675), who was one of the players who had taken a strong stance against Jason since early on.
- Skull's comments about my D3 Zordon case are freaking weird. Not only does their wording not really say anything, but they also downplay my reasonings and claim that they rely on scum coordination and timing, which was not true at all as I had pointed out back then.
Zordon - Nice to see some work into Zordon. Despite being a very strong presence so far, most have just passed by his posts. Can’t really define what’s up with his playstyle, but I feel like it’s aggressive, with a lot of questioning and proding, but still too broad to actually lead into an actual lynch, which is the perfect play for a skillful scum. Without more flips though, it’s hard to say whether Zordon pushed for the right targets other than Jason.

Zack’s post breakdown didn’t do much to me though since it presumes quite a lot on how scum works in the shadows, especially with coordination and timing.
- Before the D4 red-check came up, they apparently switched focus to Kimberly and White despite claiming that there would surely be scum between Rita, Zordon and I (#2225).
- Skull's D5 was a bit confusing. Early on, they said Rita and I looked "kinda iffy" (#2477), but then went back and said they were "hard townreading" both of us (#2514).

Here are my reads right now. I'm probably too trusting but I tend to follow occam's razor for this stuff.

Lean Town:
10. [m] Bulk - Obviously
14. [f] Kimberly - Red check on Zordon
7. [m] Green Ranger - Cleared by Kimberly
1. [They/Them] Tommy - Claimed Doctor
4. [f] Rita Repulsa - Odd behavior for scum IMO (weird claim, claiming Billy's role, tunneling on Zordon)
15. [They/Them] Zack - Good arguments, specially against Zordon.

Unsure:
2. [m] Billy - If scum, they have a weird role for scum to have. I disagree with them on theories but mechanically I lean town.
16. [m] Skull - Their posts feel genuine, maybe I'm biased due to flavor synergy? Their vote record isn't terrible, at least.

Lean Scum:
6. [m] Blue Ranger & White Ranger - Listing them together because honestly I could flip a coin at this point their posts meld together in my head and I really need to review their posts.
18. [m] Alpha 5 - Close tie yesterday does make me feel they could be scum, bad vote record, high info lynch.

Lynching Alpha will definitely shift some stuff here, regardless of their flip.

Zack

My other suspicions:

- Billy feels all over the place. I don't agree with the case against Tommy, who hasn't been counerclaimed, at all - and their interest of going there kinda just fizzled out despite starting out strong earlier in the phase.
- If anything, Rita's claim is the protective role claim that's still nagging me. I still can't get over how convenient the timing there was and how little it actually benefited town. I also think there was some genuine conflict between Rita and Skull on D3, which could be interesting depending on either flip.
- I still don't have a real opinion on Blue, which at this point feels red alarm-worthy.

I feel good about White and Bulk. White, however, was one of those who downplayed my case against Zordon. Alpha's flip will tell us a lot about them.

I made an updated version of my reads immediately after yesterday's flip but I left it on my home PC and I won't be there until much later today :(

Anyway, updated top scum. I promise they're more fleshed out in the full version:

Blue - Terrible voting history.
Skull - I think Zack was onto something with his Skull read above.
White - Also terrible voting history, but his interactions with Jason on days 1 and 2 make me feel better about him? I know some said yesterday that his pre-hammer vote was an easy giveaway but eh.

In that order. Skull might get to first place now that Zack is gone though. Too obvious?
