Town MVP Award: Call it collusion, call it favoritism, call it what you want but I think the overall Town MVP goes to Zack/
@Brazil . He not only played a wonderful game catching two Scum and building cases against them but he was constantly finding information, reading back into previous Days, and pestering people about clarifications on votes or other information. In a game with no meta he took the info available to him and ran with it, helping Town secure a win. Not to mention all while roleplaying as various members of the community with varying posting styles.
Runner-up: I feel like this should be mentioned but my second pick for Town MVP is Trini/
@corn93 . Corn hasn't played in a while and I think the rocky Day 1 reflects this a bit but once he got past that he thrived. While not necessarily as clear as Zack/Brazil, he still went after people and was not afraid to bring up negative reads on people who were being Town read and to push folks in that direction
Scum MVP Award: This one is a bit tricky since Scum didn't end up living very long but my personal award would go to Skull/
@Fandorin . He was in the perfect spot as Scum for a majority of the game: quiet, giving opinions here and there, and going relatively under the radar but not being negatively viewed. Unfortunately vote records turned around and helped get him in the end but until that point he was not being suspected at all.
Runner-up: Would be Zordon/
@heymonkey . While she was killed early due to a Red Check from the Cop she was able to keep up an excellent 'Town Leader' persona for much of Days 1 and 2. Playing Scum is not easy, especially when you are a big voice in a game as any slip up is used against you as she later learned with Zack/Brazil. Unfortunately the guise began to slip towards the End of Day 2 and it wasn't long after that when she got caught. Better luck next time, Monkey.
Best Detective Award: This may not be what you think it is as I want to give this award to our lovely Neutral,
@Faddy /Pink Ranger. If you have not seen it already, he put together an
amazing document that he used to track down his target: Fireblend. It was a hilarious read and the 'tells' he put together were amusing and effective, he ended up catching Fireblend by a single emoji in
this post here. This role was honestly going to be very easy or very difficult and I'm happy to see that Faddy was able to work with what he had to find his target.
The 'I Like to Kick Scum While They're Down' Award: It's almost impossible not to give this award to two people who entirely deserve it given their excellent PR usage. On N3, after losing the Scum Strongman and going a Night with no kill,
@DCPAT /Tommy protects Scum's next target while Kimberly/
@Girlofgotham goes and red checks one of their most prominent members. If that's not mean then I don't know what is.
The 'I Forgot This Was a Costume Game' Award: This one is also a dual award though one of the winners subbed out of the game. Goldar/
@Lone_Prodigy and
@nin1000 /Old!Billy are the winners of this, both playing relatively similar to their normal game despite this being an opportunity to change. While not everyone guessed their identity correctly it did become obvious to some folks as they sent their guesses to me as the game ran. Better luck next time, guys.
Best Use of Gifs Award: This one should go without saying but
@Android Sophia /Rita is the winner of this award. When she got her role PM she sent me a picture of a file on her computer that held
dozens of Rita Repulsa gifs that she was preparing to use when the game began. She also used them excellently and to hilarious effect.
#GameChanger Award: While there were a lot of great plays here I think the victory ended in Town's lap due to one very significant person:
@rac . While the wagon against him still makes me scratch my head this forced rac to use his ability to mod-confirm himself and thus shifted the wagon off of him....and onto Jason, the Scum Strongman. I think if Jason had not been lynched in such a manner, or this early, Scum would have had a much better time and may have even won the game. Losing the Strongman early hurt and those votes helped secure lynches on the other members of the Scum team. Hats off to you, rac. Without you and your power I'm not sure where Town would be right now.
'You Almost Got 'Em, Ranger' Award: Goes to
@Verelios /Blue Ranger for saving his precious Veteran shot until N3 only for that to be the Night no one visited him. Maybe next time, Vere. But hey, at least you didn't kill the Cop/Doc?
And thanks again to everyone who played and helped out behind the scenes. Hope you all enjoyed it. <3
