I'm role cop, I investigated verelios, I got a return that says Target is a role cop.
So either someone swapped verelios and I (which would make spec chat laugh), verelios has some sort of ability causing my target to reflect back at myself (again laughter), or both of us have this role and I just blew up two powerful roles on day 2.

Is it possible some outside role gave Verelios a reflect? Does that sort of thing exist?
I'd be careful in a game this big esp since it seems there are more roles than usual. I wouldn't rule it out completely for now, esp if the joats have different abilities.
I suppose being relatively new compared to many vets here, I'll take your word for it that it's possible then.

I was thinking Scum would be able to coordinate ITA targets with role cop identifications. giving a mafia aligned role cop even MORE power in this game.

I'll be using my shot then, as will others I'm sure. The best play is to shoot Vere to verify Zipped's info and then if he lied we lynch Zipped and if he told the truth we can still get meaningful data in the lynch today instead of everyone just piling on Vere.

Caught up finally, so here are just some of my passing thoughts as I was catching up. There's also a few posts in particular I need to find and quote, but for now
@Geno Gonna need more from you on why you thought I was scummy enough to attempt a vig shot on me. Lying about me saying something that I don’t usually say isn’t going to cut it. Almost Rynam tier when it comes to bad uses of an ITA, and comes across as you being salty about my scumread.
Alexem was one of my slight scum reads yesterday, but his first post today and reaction to the Grizzly lynch comes across as genuine to me. He didn’t even attempt to make an excuse to hop on the lynch, and stated a few times he didn’t understand where it even came from. I’d expect at least a slight bus from him if he were Grizzle’s scum bud instead of him being completely oblivious and intentionally staying away from it even when Grizzly was clearly going to die. For similar reasons, I feel less confident about Yn.
I can very easily seeing one of the Rynam ITAs being a scummate bus. I know I would have done it if I were one of his scummates.
There’s also a few posters that are either being weird or nonresponsive that are mostly being overlooked: Include really dropped off the face of the Earth out of nowhere. Febe, JubJub, Salva, as complete no shows shouldn’t be dismissed. Wrote this before Fireblend was replaced, but even after that fact, I still find it worth noting as Febe generally does something more than a couple of joke posts then sinking into the background. Also Extreme Tactician is a very nothing of a player. He makes basic comments and asks questions that don’t amount to much. Otherwise I do not recall seeing a single notable post from him.
All Nomadic has done is troll and shitpost to hell and back. Don't know enough about him to know if this is normal or not, but it's like he's not even trying.
Had a whole spiel about why I thought Kyan was town, but that’s clearly useless now. Other than that, I do think we should review the last few votes on Grizzly again. There’s probably at least one or two between Ynnek, Geno, Apollo, Polter, and Muffin if I had to bet.

Grizzly has a history of bussing. He may have started it thinking it wouldn't gain traction. When it did, a role cop for scum helps them a lot.

No, we said it would be dumb to waste a day 1 lynch on a poster who hasn't done anything, since that means you can't develop any reads or notable info from the flip. Most of the vocal players were pro-Rynam Lynch. The people who called it a dumb lynch didn't say so because we were against him dying. Hell, several people outright said to save him for ITA.

I actually forgot about you since initially I removed you from the list due to being one of my town reads, but I'm not so sure anymore. Gorlak was one of the first players on Grizzly, and I found his explanation for temporarily unvoting Grizzly to be acceptable. I'm not completely disregarding him as potential busser, but he doesn't stand out as much to me as the others do when it comes to scumminess.

There's bussing and then there's starting a train only to throw yourself openly on a sword later and just saying "a role cop helps them a lot" is so vague. Tell me, Stu, exactly how is a rolecop better than a roleblocking godfather day one in a 50 person game? How is either better than the other? Just insisting it is isn't an argument for.
See, the thing is, I'm not saying this is impossible. I'm saying I want to see an argument for it, and what you're give me is "it's totally possible." Yes, it's totally possible. But why do it? Why start by pushing Vere in the first place when there are 48 other targets just lying around - some of them literally?
Further, Zipped could well be telling the truth and that doesn't change any of the above. There are multiple scenarios in which his claim could be completely legit and Vere not be scum, or be scum of a different faction, or be neutral, or there be something else at work. We push on it and we try to figure it out.
You know what's a bad look? You trying to threaten me for pushing on the logic here. First, it's not like you're going to intimidate me; that is a big ol' waste of your time. Second, why on earth wouldn't we question this stuff from multiple angles? Why wouldn't that be the thing to do here?
