Don’t get me wrong, nin definitely wouldn’t have ended without suspicion. Just felt like confirming he was getting replaced led a couple people to vote on him as the ‘easy’ choice. Too lazy to go grab examples but I think at least one or two people explicitly mentioned how he was a good candidate to avoid a replacement. Also not faulting Ouro for announcing it. The players were inquiring regularly about anyone that fell off the map so at a point you can’t just keep ignoring them.

I could see it, though I’m still inclined to think it’s Kark and then one of them. I’d still lean Ty. Kark’s “gambit” or whatever feels too weak this game. Just like LB2 where he was scum.

I mean Crimson posted 4 times then disappeared, Bronx posted twice then disappeared.

nin was a presence through most of the game until that last phase. There's a big difference between him and the other two.

I mean, at this point, with our meta, you should probably always assume there's a neutral. The number of games that we've run that HAVEN'T had a neutral can probably be counted on one hand. I actually had to tell one of our designers the other day that a neutral isn't required as part of typical game design.

That’s rough given how erratic he is. Though at the same time it does make it easy for people to back off a lynch due to “Nomad being Nomad”. If Nomad is scum then bravo to him. About the only difference I can think of in his play might be the quantity of posts he showed up and made when he started gaining traction.

Faddy and Ty for scum maybe? If I was hiding and not breadcrumbing my targets (to be a pseudo cop) I likely would have avoided Monkey and FEPS last night. That leaves Faddy as probably the most town read person. I don’t recall anything that would make him a lock for town.

Faddy's logic made me almost scum read him the whole game. Almost. Recreating it would be a decent scum strat.

I'm rooting for monkey though. I was not so nice to her in dark souls but i think she's doing well and winning a town game is so satisfying. Playing scum is more fun, but winning as town is the best.

He's been doing a great job this game though, especially this Day Phase with the self vote and trying to get everyone to think logically. He's being so helpful he can't be Scum, it's perfect! Despite that though I still think Monkey can sniff him out, if not today then at least the next Day Phase.

Sorian is being pretty bold in basically townreading everyone but Ty and Topo.

Topo is being classic Town Topo, unfortunately no one else alive in this game seems to remember this is exactly how he plays.

Could be because no one has played with him (maybe Ty)

Ty's inactivity is concerning, it could be an easy mislynch, hope he re-appears and helps the situation.

I don't really mind lynching people who are gone at all. It's happened to me in lylo and it's mildly frustrating but town should act decisively. If you've made a choice, why fuck about an extra two hours? Get shit done.

So I'll say that I'm not bothered by the thought that this was going to be a "best of" type deal. I was under that impression but I wasn't bummed out or anything when I saw the player list and realized that it clearly wasn't.

I will say that I'm greatly disappointed at all the replacements that were needed and the inactivity in general. I know when I was asked to participate, it was made sure with me that I would be available and 100% involved and I assume it was the same for others. Obviously it really sucks that the worst offenders were 50% of my team but even on town we had a couple.

Props to Terra for subbing into a garbage situation and making the most of it. I won't shame anyone by name but I will put out vague shame that I know will make it's way to you.

Also, can someone explain to me what was up with the forum tags or whatever that Kark linked to or tried to link to or thought he found? I gathered now that it wasn't really the reason for his modkill anyway, I'm just confused on what he did actually stumble on.

Short version was that Kark did a search on the forum and could see the tags for threads. Not the threads themselves, just the tags like "Gossip Chat," "Scum Chat" and the like. We have a bunch of them just for future reference, (for instance there was no Gossip Chat in this game) and he thought he was spoiled.

Hey Kark, stop dropping out of games when I'm trying to develop mislynches. It's hard to do and I know you know better now that you've been scum. I appreciate the free kill but it's hard not to look obvious when switching gears like that and it ruins the flow of the game when it's a non-game related thing screwing with it.
