Hey guys, don’t mean to derail the thread but I’ll be getting replaced during the night phase. If Sneeks is replacing me than you guys will be lucky to have her! This has been the funnest game I’ve been in yet and you guys made it that much more enjoyable, so thank you :D and good luck! I know you can keep this group alive til the end!

Idk if I want to keep my vote on Fran or switch to LP or Aeleus. I think I will put some pressure on Fran for now and I’ll judge his responses. From there, I’ll switch to Aeleus or LP. I can see his RB either being fake or scum but it’s weird he’d single out Fandorin and bank on that gambit without thinking he would be suspect throughout the rest of the game...

Ugh, that was unfortunate. LP claim was 100% legit in the end. I think he played that reveal on me badly, but those last moments had me in doubt.

My vote movement looks bad after his flip for sure, but I wanted to avoid leaving doubts on me regarding LP’s claim and the case I had on him. We don’t know VA’s alignment either.

I had doubts on both wagons and in the end thought LP’s flip would give more information regardless of his alignment. Thought he had more chance being scum at the end, that’s all it is.

Thing about stu is it’s hard to trust him since he said he str8 up let zipped die because it would help his case on muffin iirc.

One thing that seems weird to me is that Stu actually is notified who dies once Night actions lock. That seems like a really OP ability, though it makes sense that he can actually turn into a SK because if he decides to go the route he'd just let town die all game.

Mind you in SU I was notified if I got my shot once Night actions locked which would have told me my partner was the NK, but that was because I was a potential vigilante and it was specifically for one person.

Stu's actions in general have been pretty anti-town considering he wasted that untargetable on Chuggs for no real reason and let Zipped die. He really is tunneling muffin hard and it bothers me because his post count this day phase was more posts then I have for the entire game in the main thread.

So I updated my vote sheets to look over the vote for today and so far I got nothing :/ That VA built super quickly leaving the Fran training in the dust, but suddenly there was a push back onto LP With ABs, Faddy, VA, Fando, and wee moving from VA mostly over to LP again. Out of those VA makes sense as it was a defense vote but still :/

ABs I've been townreading especially since only scum was on him day 1 though that could have been busing from one team, Faddy I've been suspicious of so maybe there's something there, VA definitely seems suspicious especially if this was an attempt to save him, Fando has explained his reasoning and i'll leave that to him to save his butt tomorrow lol, and Wee has been acting a bit more weird as of late but by that point LP was pretty much dead anyways.

Additionally all of this is based on the fact that VA is scum which may not be the case based on how his claim goes tomorrow. HOWEVER, wasn't he the one to ask for a doctor to counter claim Mao? Could it be that was him hinting he was the actual doc and that's what the list is?

If VA is town then is it possible that Fran was the one scum was saving? But is that the case why go VA when LP was an easier target unless... Town!Brazil starts the train and scum jumped on seeing an opening.

I hadn’t thought that VA could actually be the doctor. That would be weird since that is THE role that should claim before getting lunched, but this is VA in the end.

I’ll probs be high on the suspicious list tomorrow due to my vote change, but I’ll just stand by it. I was part of the VA wagon too and got chicken there at the end, but that’s what it is.

Lol glad the list helped, take your time with reading the thread and i'll help you where i can in here.

Anyways.

- All we know from TP was that the Chaos Emerald is your item, you were a character in the previous game as an NPC, you were infected with Las Plagas from the start, and you have an infinity stone (forget which one, we might want a list of that at some point.)
- So far we only know of two. One is the Forces of Life (I think that's what they are called) with Verelios (Ganon) and Swamped (Kefka) and probably 1-2 more and Mao's team Jedah's Alliance (Mao was Saddler from Resident Evil 4)
- Originally we didn't trust each other because we worried this was a mix of scum and town, but we are all pretty much town reading each other now because we all had Infinity stones and either an NPC or a player Thanos is collecting them when we die. Our main goal it seems is to stay alive so he doesn't get them because if he does half the players die.
- Also Muffin is here too. Last night he copied my abilities and became a mod confirmed Town (he's Megaman) and that gave him access to this little group. He does not have a stone as far as we know, but he was infected like we were until he got cured last night.

The run down:

ABs (Solid Snake), Me (Cap), You, Fando, and Ket (Vegeta) started out the game infected because at the end of the last one the NPCs around for that fight were by Saddler.

N1- Fanto/Zeke infected
N2- Muffin infected (He got better)
N4- Brazil infected.

Muffin told the thread about his infection on D3 where people doubted his claim. Speculation was that it spread through contact with infected people and that ABs infected him but this was disproven it seems due to no one coming forward after we interacted with them.

Most likely Mao as Saddler was the one infecting them and that's how it spread. He had 3 abilities, 1 was infecting people, 2 was RBing for the night every infected person once, 3 was controlling who an infected party targeted.

When Mao died everyone assumed it was over and that was all it was for, especially after Muffin came forward as cured of his illness. However he is the only one as no one else has been cured.

For this reason we assume 1 of two possibilities.

1. It's a red herring now just left over and useless
2. Another person is probably connected to this power and maybe it's even connected to the collect 25 souls wincon that Mao's team has.

BTW

Light Scum teams wincon is being 50/50 with town and eliminating all threats to them (probably Mao's team and neutrals)

Jedah's Alliance scum wincon is collecting 25 souls. No one know what this means except that maybe it means infecting peeps or killing everyone except for like 3?? with one of them still in the game.

Dunno the in-game lore behind the Las Plagas virus but that being connected to the Jedah Alliance wincon makes me think it's a douse action like an arsonist. Blow up the infected and boom, get souls. But seeing as Mao is dead and no new infected so far we may be good. Starting the game with infected would've helped his role too so it...makes sense for balance.

Yeah we may be out of the clear on the plagas stuff. Speculation is that we also have a Plague Doctor who cured Muffin. We'll see if anyone else is.

I also asked Fando if he's scum and he told me he only is when he subs in XD Either case I told him i will not be town reading him or defending him probably if someone asks me about it as he has dropped to a null read with that voting history. If I stil trust him despite that people might question why i am and then we risk me getting mod killed because I try and claim we are neighbors XD

Now that we know that I feel more comfortable with the nature of the chat. Like TP said there are 6 stones tho and from flavor it looks like Thanos is collecting them. Maybe we have a neutral that needs to kill us all or something like that, but I don’t think they are in this chat.

So it's good that our Illuminati membership doesn't get revealed with our death (because that'd probably end up causing more issues as Town would freak), but I'm still wondering out we get revealed to the rest of the game.

At this point I'm wondering if we ever will and when we all die/the game ends Geno and Gorlak will just mentioned "All of the members of the illuminati are dead!/Winners (fill in the name) won and were part of the Ilum and everyone will go "there was an illuminati????"

I feel like we may be a counter to the neutral as said above as we can try to work together to find them, but how do we proceed with that? Do we pursue and try and get out Apop, do we leave him alone in case he's baiting the other stone owners out?

Speculation what if Thanos is just an NPC since he will kill half the players, and this thread is only so we can try and talk strat so we don’t get killed.

2. We fit the role of the Illuminati this way. We're the group who keeps the world safe from Thanos by secretly protecting one another.
3. We can't protect each other in terms of a lunch. We'd just have to back it up with reads (or fake reads) to keep ourselves alive since we can't claim this chat or this group. Any found connection would just lead to chain lunches and Thanos getting stronger.

Now I'm the young whippersnapper coming in here with fresh eyes and i haven't been in the trenches like all of you but i'd still warn not to just trust people here because we're all illuminati. There would be good reason for a Scum player in this chat to keep us all alive since keeping Thanos at bay protects their team as well.

Now I'm the young whippersnapper coming in here with fresh eyes and i haven't been in the trenches like all of you but i'd still warn not to just trust people here because we're all illuminati. I'll agree that we can't completely trust each other in here (I have been suspicious of people in the past) but your speculation about the stones being RNG'd may be right though there are some points I want to bring up.

1. I still think I was supposed to always be in here just because I don't have a costume account and I'm the leader of the heroes and all that... but it could just be that I was given a stone via RNG and I don't get a costume because confirmed town and all that.
2. What about the 6th stone? If the 6th stone owner doesn't belong to Thanos because he is just an NPC, then why are they not part of the group?

An additional question i have for you is what do you think about whether scum can talk about us in scumchat or not?

We have speculated about this for a while with most members thinking they can't actually tell their mates about us as well, but I'm still wondering if they can.

In either case I hope you still end up talking with us. While we can't fully trust each other, we can go over our opinions on the game and reads.

I'm X-shot copy (its limited, i havent said yet how much) who can only copy town and compatible roles. I wasnt told what compatible means, but in the main thread we have theorized that its probably other robots (like I'm Megaman) I can copy.

With my item I got an extra shot with restrictions lessened that I used to copy Loki and get the modconfirm and access here.

I said I can only copy town and compatible abilities. Only my extra shot might have been able to copy non town. If I get an ability with my normal shots I can be sure that person is town, if I dont, I cant be sure they are scum.

I don't think Thanos has to do anything to get the stones if he is a playable character, all that has to probably happen is for a stone holder to die since the stones can't be stolen or taken via killing us. Plus I'm still in the camp that Thanos is an NPC.

I don't think revealing your stone would draw attention to us really, all it'd do was reveal that another stone was around which people should have assumed with the open flavor on day 1. Additionally I doubt anyone is going to assume that all the stone holders are working together secretly. XD
