Most of town has given up on this game due to frustration or other reason, the game has been very divisive. I don't know if it's the Risk portion or just frustration from other players.

Tbh I would probably be voting Fran as well. He's banked all his reads on Jman being Scum from the start of the game and now complains how bad his reads are once the basis is gone. That's Scum play 101: Base all your reads on one foundation, so you can start fresh once the foundation crumbles.

I think that it's due to so many possible paths for suspicion. That and for me just the amount of posts and trying to keep up with that while keeping any semblance of an argument together was making it a bit hard.

It is, or can be, for sure. But unfortunately it's also something people do when they are town when a game is kind of off the rails which makes them really hard to read!

I did say that Kawl was too dangerous/forward to allow further in-game after he had conquered Polter

and I did say that Fran was too powerful as Town-read + troops-heavy to be left unquestioned

Both players who are now quite fed-up with the game to the point that one constantly asks to be killed and the other is now doing the same plus self-voting.

It's okay I'm sure RNGsus forgives anybody at any given time if you but roll those dice

for those who may not know the lore; Kawl had just joined our [Mafia] community and I was partnered with him as Mafia-aligned Tracker Lovers in Love Boat [Mafia], soon after beginning of the game I openly claimed as Town Miller Trackers for myself & Kawl after convincing him it was a good idea for reasons along with having convinced scum team not to Night-kill anybody... that Night our Track target just so happened to be the Town Tracker Lovers who were also Tracking us at the exact same time, and the next Day they confronted us via counter-claim and we got blown up and Kawl became immediately jaded by his 2nd? [Mafia] game

Kawl and I have been together ever since

If I were in-game still I'd be attacking them myself to a full triple resolution

Launch's trap ability to me, and now that it's confirmed, could still really be evil utility IMO but I'm paranoid about damage Powers like that in that I believe only I should have them

With Stan’s flip town should have all the info they need to piece together the thing missing from our role PMs. Scum are mega fucked mechanics wise without some exceptionally lucky breaks.

In theory it might open up a couple more options, but town just had a lot of active abilities that hindered us early on. Whiffed kill + red check + dodging protection made it dicey. Kill limitations in general just make it hard to effectively use your abilities and can force you into increasingly suboptimal plays. I mean without getting lucky on our N1 ranged kill being available we would’ve been in an even worse spot. The theory of using risk attacks to kill town is nice and all, but at most we could’ve gotten away with one or two here or there, but not constant attacks. Add in that attacking leaves you weakened and that doesn’t help. Then add in (implied spoilers below):

That we started out bunched up it double hurt us both for risk and NKs.

All that said, this is just a tough game to balance with so many non-standard mechanics at play. I don’t think you can be faulted for it not being perfect. It’s not a big deal.

What an emotional rollercoaster

Part 1 the Lows

I want to apologize to everyone in the game that I made the experience terrible for you all.

Now that the game is over I want to assure you I never lied about the multiple mental breakdowns I had this game.

I my entire life have a Had a poor mental state compared to the average person. I get depressed easily and even now as a full grown adult I can break down into a crying sobbing mess over things no normal person would get so effected by.

I want to assure you I have never and would never intentionally use my real life poor mental health as a gameplay tool no matter if I am mafia or not. This would be incredible disrespect to all the people who suffer from mental illness and it has no place in mafia.

That being said my very real temper tantrum 's cause an impact on the game That's unfair to town having to deal with me and unfair to Mafia members too. I Am showing real uncontrollable emotion but this accidentally can cause gameplay advantage through sympathy so I apologize to Mafia team as well.

I cried After playing neir But this was fine I was dead I broke down and cried 3 times this game each time worse than the last because of negative emotions building of each other.

I will try hard to not get so emotional again but I can't promise I won't that's been the story of my life this is how I am built.

What I can promise is next time this happens I will Remind myself to just step away from the keyboard. Stop posting and stop engaging until I calm down

Don't feel bad for me Just as fast as I break down I recover fast too. I can be a crying mess then be completely fine back to my normal self in 30 minutes.

At one point I said I needed a break for a few hours but came back like 15 minutes later I was able to keep posting And I actually felt fine.

I mentioned depression earlier and that too Hits hard and fast But leaves quick I never had to worry about suicide my whole life because the depression never sticks around for more than A day or 2 before I am fine. (That Day or 2 can get really really bad though)

Another huge issue with me and mafia is my incredibly low social skills. I don't have many real life or internet friends outside family and I Never ever leave the house unless for work or shopping (unemployed do to covid at the moment) and I can have a very hard time communicating my thoughts too you. My love of gambit combined with not being able to properly explain myself lead to lots of problems for town that I hope to solve as I get better at talking to you.

Once again sorry for creating a bad environment too play in I will work harder not just to win but to make sure other players have a more fun experience playing with me.

I said rollercoaster and I mean it The highs were very high. This game has had some of the most fun I ever had playing mafia.

My mafia win still ranks 1 me and launch were flawless. But Day 3 realizing I was the only one who knew exactly what happened with the switch and heal and role block was the greatest eureka moments

As dumb as it was my Ghost claim was the most fun fake claim I have ever write I was working on it before the game even started then added details as the game went.

When Fran posted that article of the real ghost role I went oh shit and could not stop laughing even Geno told me he did not know ghost was an existing role it was so funny.

Getting to see my first flip of scum Natiko was great.

Everything Fanto was fantastic I knew She was still controlling the dinos I breadcrumb it before it happened but I should have called my shot more confident before it happened.

it have me that I feeling of the insanity of old school Blarg on Gaf that inspired me to wanna play mafia in the first place.

My warm satisfaction when Kenny flip I realized we were in the lead and Town is most likely to win even if I am mislynched

I love seeing great players at work

Puns you are MVP both amazing role usage (investigation people who are not high profile is brilliant stealing this when I role cop.)

Puns day strategy to withhold information on investigation his daytime real life investigation to get Stan it's so fun to watch.

Launch pad you played great this game regardless of alignment either good town or good scum

Wee you are another all-star reading your post is great even though I got mad at you multiple times. Still don't know your alignment but your playing amazing regardless.

Geno your the real MVP I can't imagine designing and running such a fun complex game so well Thank You.

Hey jman, it's all good. I think the key is just when you start feeling overwhelmed just to step away from the keyboard for a bit and do something else. The days are long enough that there is usually always time to step away and come back later. Also you might need to be more aware of what actions trigger your breakdowns. I enjoy the chaos you bring (especially since I consider myself fairly conservative with my play style and gambits are definitely not my go to) but if trying to maintain a gambit and hold up to any scrutiny of it overwhelms you then maybe cut back on that sort of thing. We all need to find that balance of how we want to play and how we can play.

The thing is My gambit not working is not why I got upset I never got that upset in transistor because I knew the gambit not working was my fault. None of my anger or depression this game came from people not buying my Gambits

I cried and broke down 3 times this game none of them were related to people not believing my gambits.

1- when I got heat for attacking chuggs (I was upset because town turned on me before I even did anything wrong at the time I did no fake claim all I did was take Alaska after chuggs said he did not want it. Yes still salty.)

2 - when you claimed I was insulting Geno for not liking the game.(you legit convinced me you ,Geno , and the other game runners Hated me and never wanted me to play again. I love Geno and it was never his fault I was not having fun so I freaked out. I legit thought I was gonna get banned from playing for a moment before you and Geno told me you were not upset.)

3 - when see called my night actions as switcher bad it legit started to trigger all the shame and guilt from Neir. I waa convinced I was failing as town during the day but I tried really hard to think hard about my night actions so when Wee my switches were bad I flipped out.

Wee this is not your fault this is all on me and my insecurities I will explain more when I apologize to you.

I regretted it instantly and even worse I wasn't strong enough to say sorry while we were both still in the game.

You are just doing your best to win regardless of alignment and I should be more respectful to my fellow players and there reasoning even if I disagree.

Timezones are rough but I hope you find some fun playing again this game has taken a lot out of all of us.

Nah, we’ve only ever banned one person from playing and he was a literal racist (and got permed making it moot anyways). I wasn’t even upset I just was trying to let you know as a gamerunner sometimes it can be difficult to not take comments as insults, even if they aren’t intended that way. Having had a couple games go very sideways on me and singlehandedly making a very popular gamerunner decide not to run games anymore I’m more sensitive to it than most now.

I felt so bad when people stopped going after me when I self voted

Wee said I was being emotionally manipulative but it was not on purpose I was legit wanting to die when I votes myself.

Maybe during the off-season review we should question if allowing asked votes should be a thing?

@Stantastic While it's not even close to having the day end in the middle of the god damn night, it always ends while I'm at usually busy at work so I feel you. Town fucking around all day before throwing a hail mary at the last hour when you aren't able to play always sucks, but I don't really know what the solution is for it.

A lot of my anger and issues toward you was played up for the sake of the act, Honestly when you called me on the idiotic part i didnt actually have much response.
