That means for VA to win the bet, he has to guess an amount that rounds up to $3,800.00 (so any number equal to or between $3,700.01 to $3,799.99)

Weren't the hoodies a redirect? Maybe she had one of them? It could also be a passive or money bought redirect as well, it sounded like when she mentioned protection it was only for one night, I don't think she has gotten any bets her way today.

Ok, Monkey is still indicating some sort of protection. There may be questions why ATP keeps living. We could go after a more safe person too.

Also, do we think the phone is worth stealing. Fanto, I assume if we steal it tonight (and I assume the theft would occur before the item's use) would we have to wait until tomorrow to use it?

If you steal an item, you won't get it until after actions lock, so yeah you would need to wait to use it.

Right now their big scum reads appear to be Reki or malus/Pancakes. I guess it depends on when they might check me. If we think it would be tonight we roll the dice, if we think Reki or malus is more likely maybe keep them around to give me a buffer.

I'm worried that malus might rise into the ranks of a Top Contributor if left to catch up. But I guess Pancakes' secret purchases and the silence against Dr. M may overwrite whatever malus' does later...

How do you feel about offing Stan then?

Maybe it gives VA access to items of the Mafia shop to buy from? Maybe since he paid for it he gets $4,000.00 store credit upfront and he can buy whatever's on our list up to the $4,000 item (HYPER STRIKE)?

For a Role-claim I've been thinking, I'll say I'm a Townsperson who has access to a SECRET SHOP. I'm thinking to just claim my Role-name truthfully ("ULTIMA BRAD, BETTING CHAMPION")

Each Night I'm PM'd a list of 5 items but they are all labelled UNKNOWN

$2500: UNKNOWN x1​
$4000: UNKNOWN x1​
$5000: UNKNOWN x1​
$7500: UNKNOWN x1​
$10000: UNKNOWN x1​

I'll say I haven't bought anything yet 'cause I'm saving for the $10k mystery item

If I'm pressured about why I threw the tic-tac-toe with Chuggs on Day 1 and immediately lost my initial $1,500.00; I'll just wave that off and say I saw I was gonna lose that game anyway so might as well save some face under an act of sporting charity, or something

I'll also admit my secret Betting Power truthfully, that once a Day I can pick someone else's Bet and make money off of it if fulfilled in the bet-maker's favour, which is how I gain my secret money if any of them are wondering

The only problem is that others have said Ultima Brad would likely be on a scum team. I do not know the flavor at all so I can't speak to that but I know people have mentioned it.

But it's easier IMO to claim a "flavour-scummy" name and then say that the char being scummy does NOT mean I'm scum, then to use a fake-name and possibly be caught in that lie... IMO

Yeah, personally I think I will just claim fan if it comes to it. If I had been on it earlier I could have claimed the Easy Update as they didn't see Rainy Day Ian as necessarily scum but that shipped as sailed.

Going back through ATP I don't see a crumb although he did talk about Pancakes a lot. Going back to D3 I'm actually surprised that he didn't check me with the way he was talking, I wonder if he thought I would be a contender anyways so it was better to target Vere. So right now the obvious targets are Reki and malus/Pancakes so I might be on the menu instead?

So, 14 players left. Including ATP there are 4 or 5 players it wouldn't make sense to check, let's say it's 5 total. That leaves 9 possible targets and we would make up 1/3 of that. Even if you think only malus, Reki, and myself are the main targets that's still a 1/3 shot. I'm leaning towards rolling the dice and taking the potion myself, I think this is the chance to have one of us cleared. After that we have to kill ATP, they are going to be wondering why a cop is still alive after the doc is dead and might put together a Godfather or item explanation.

Oh Stan can be a wtf move where they might spend time figuring that out. Kyan is definitely a safe town so taking him out would be good to have fewer of those around plus like you said it stops new money from coming in. I think its more of the sow confusion or more of a traditional play question.

The more I think about it I think it might be better to go after Kyan to get a safer townie out. Plus it would take whatever the phone is out of the picture and then we can decide if we want to go after the keys or not.

The best I could do for us as scum would be to trigger it just above the last hour of a Day and hope it screws Town up for a mis-lunch, but that Town-based aggro though
